Daniel, I laud your work. It is unlike anything I’ve ever seen regarding insomnia. I went through everything-months of sleepless nights, rigorous blood work, anxiety medication, all to no avail. It wasn’t until I found an article from someone who discovered you and recommended your courses. The unorthodox yet brilliant approach to insomnia I learned from you has changed my life for the better. You are great at everything you do and I wish you nothing but the best. Would love to share my experience with you sometime!

I do hope one day i can share my success story tho. One thing I've realized which I've learnt from this channel is that Im a type A too because almost every podcast i listen to I have one thing in common with every one else and that is trying to manage every tiny thing, high levels of anxiety and that has found its way in my sleep too (worsening it) and approaching sleep problem like its a thréat. I am in that recovery journey and while it is very unpleasant i do have some anxiety about relapsing. Pls in one of future eps talk about this fear along with how do i work when I feel mentally fatigued. Another future video suggestion would be if lack of sleep really speeds up aging? I dont wanna age faster because i have insomnia. Alright i greatly benefit from these eps.
    Xoxo

I've been following you since my insomnia started, and your videos did help me with my sleep anxiety and hyperarousal, and I did sleep better. But did I recover? No. I haven't tried medications or sleep hygiene until now. Starting today, I'll combine medication, sleep hygiene, and your teachings and see if I get any better in 2 months. I'll share my experience after 2 months.

@@Christian.Raduescu I know, I have watched all his videos. But I've never tried any medication and sleep hygiene before so I just want to give it a try, it might work as the root cause which was the fear of not sleeping is gone COMPLETELY, I'm almost there and it's ok if it didn't work out in the end. I'll always have Daniel's back.

@@studentaccount-v7f how long have you watched him? It seems like it's a process that can take months and months and months if not years. Neuroplasticity right? Sleep hygiene doesn't work unless maybe your issues are mild. He doesn't need to tell you that. Before my big one which was four months ago I never did any sleep hygiene and could sleep anywhere anytime and deeply. I fell asleep in five mins regardless of how anxious I was etc. and almost rarely remembered my dreams. Things are very different now but I am trusting the process and learning to let go and not care.

hi doctor, one thing i don't understand is many people in the vids have an aha moment and instantly start sleeping better. however for me, i have worked on my anxiety greatly, not that it is entirely gone, but i still struggle with sleep greatly. it's been months of this.

Hang in there! Almost everyone in these videos had many months of a bumpy path of leaving the struggle, not one aha moment. It’s months of a journey compressed which may make it look different than it was.

Hi. Just so you know, what you are experiencing is common. I've been on the journey and recovery for 1 year and 4 months now. I no longer have anxiety around sleep. None. But my sleep is still catching up. I have periods of great sleep, periods of so-so sleep, and at least one night a week of what I call yucky sleep. None of it bothers me anymore. I just carry on and do my best. This takes time. Lots of time.

Hi! Thank you for your videos! Do you believe our brain tricks us into sometimes thinking we're more exhausted than we actually are? I've gotten no sleep in the past and felt fine. Now, 3 hours of sleep will get me feeling like I'm on the verge of passing out, like I can't function.

Hi Daniel, hope you're doing well. I had a slightly off topic suggestion, i think you should use more colour in the thumbnails and get rid of the black and white and blue thumbnails if you'd like to reach more people. I think the muted colours don't stick out against all the other videos I'm recommended on TH-cam and I end up forgetting about the channel. Also if you look at your most viewed videos, almost all of them have colourful thumbnails! Hope this is useful, just thought it would help you get more people to see your message 👍
