    I have a 2016 Kubota Z724 w/54 inch deck and 450 engine hours. It's exactly like yours...they nailed it with this design and have no need to change anything on the design. Your parts would fit mine etc. It's built like a tank...hydros, spindles, three spindle re-enforcement circular plates under the deck blades etc. I removed the grass chute a long time ago...don't need it. I maintain it per user manual except for oil and filter which I change every year and only use Amsoil. I also use air to blow out air filter several times per season. SPECIALNOTE...get a spare carbon cannister sponge filter and plug it mounts on. Most people never clean them because they don't read the manual or just don't know it exists. But I do everytime I clean the air filter...helps with carburation. Having a spare allows you to swap it out immediatly without having to hand wash and dry the existing one. They last forever but having a spare to rotate in and out of service makes it easier. EZ-PZ.
    I also have a complete brand new 54 inch bagger system for it that has never been used or mounted. Still in all the factory boxes. Will sell it to you at a much better price then you could get anywhere else. I just don't need it. I don't know how you could contact me though. Maybe through Craigslist if you were interested.

    Kubota they all right I guess never had one, I say they all good if they will do the job. Never had a zero turn mower hope I pick one out that I’ll like and will do the job cutting grass. Just hope don’t have to work on it all the time , well good job showing and telling about the lawnmowers. I think it’s a good mower, my boy got a stand on he likes it it’s cost about 12,000. We’ll keep up the good work and have a great day see ya on the next video see ya bye.

    I do not believe you will regret getting this Kubota mower. I purchased my ZG327P-60 on May 5, 2009. I mow about 7 acres every week or more in the spring. I often mow my daughters and sons lawn over an acre each. In these 14 years the ONLY thing I have replaced is the battery three times and one set of new blades. I change the oil and filters EVERY year and change Hydraulic oil and filters at recommended intervals and of course lube often. There is some paint scuffing on the foot plate, and on one fender where I got too close to a wall. But the paint other wise is excellent. The seat, is as yours and after 14 years there is no tears.... I have NO problem with scalping at all with my 60 inch deck.... I have neighbors who are on their third and fourth mowers because they went cheap..... I wish you the very best of service with your new zero turn I know you will like it.

      Thanks for a great comment and very encouraging words! I hope you are right. I'm a little gun shy after my experience with the ExMark.

    Kubota and John deere are in my town. I bought the Deere just because it was real close to my house. It's a Z530M, with 54 inch deck. I like yours too, hope I don't regret not buying Kubota. So far so good. I'm new to zero turns..

    This is my next mower also maybe. right now i have a gravely with only 46 hours on it. it has the same motor as your new Kubota, but i have been thinking about just getting rid of it. i want a Kubota diesel zero turn. Maybe next summer... as always good video man.

      @athomeinthesouth01  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! A diesel would be nice but I think I'll be happy with the 24hp Kawasaki on this one. At least I hope so. It's a big step up from that ExMark.

    Good call getting rid of the residential ExMark. I had an ExMark commercial 60" and a Kubota commercial 60" mower on my property to try on the same day. I wanted a zero turn with the largest wheels and the best seat I could get. The ExMark mows just as well as the Kubota but the deck is suspended on chains. My property is not a golf course so it is rough in spots. The ExMark made a lot of noise because the deck moves a lot more than the Kubota's. I preferred the Kubota Z725 and bought it. It also made a difference that Kubota had 0% interest. John Deere was a consideration until I found out what they cost new. I looked at Bad Boy at our local TSC but they did not seem to be fabricated quite as well as the Exmark or Kubota commercial mowers. I agree with your choice.

    I almost bought a xmark and considered a badboy. Finally bought a hustler fas trak 54 inch. It's a commercial mower and I have been really pleased with it.
    I think you made a wise purchase.
    I would have bought a kabota but I liked the hustlers duel fuel tanks and duel fuel gauges. I have a 4 year warranty on my mower and 3 years on the Kawasaki engine. I paid 7916.00 out the door. I paid cash and they knocked off some.

    Don't have either of the brands. We have a Toro ZMASTER with the Kohler Command EFI engine since 2001 and the worst thing that happened to it was the clutch plate went out about 4 years ago. Still using it and still cuts great! I did have a 2021 Bobcat and that did nothing but gave me trouble, rings were not set in the engine, the governor went out on it, the drive pulley look like someone tried to eat it for lunch, the belt broke, stopped running on me one day and had to tow it back to the building because it would not crank, and gosh I don't remember what else. All of the problems were before 100 hours of use. Needless to say, I won't buy another Bobcat anything!!

    I use to run a landscape business and have had Kubota ZG20 (gas 48" cut), ZD28 (diesel 60" cut) Dixie Chopper Classic (50" cut piece of junk in my opinion) and currently have a Exmark (44" cut). The Exmark I have is light commercial and has been good for my personal property but hands down the Kubotas were the best machines I ever owned but like anything, you get what you pay for and a residential Kubota isn't any better than any other residential mower when comparing machines from mower/ tractor companies..... you couldn't give me a machine from the big box store regardless what sticker/ name is stuck on it.

    • @athomeinthesouth01
      @athomeinthesouth01  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The box store mowers are definitely junk. The Exmark mower in the video, I got from a dealer but not knowing better at the time I got the cheapest thing they had. I decided this time to spend some money and go with a commercial mower. It's no fun having to work on the mower every other time I need to mow grass.

    I'm not sure what to think about that pond story....I have owned a lot of Kubota equipment and I hang out at my local dealer all the time. I asked the owner of the dealership if that was possible and he said not in this dealership or any of the other dealerships he knows the owners of. So your friend is extremely, extremely, extremely lucky. I suggest he start buying lottery tickets daily....

      Yeah, I thought that was not likely either, but I bet the sales guy was talking about the Kubota insurance that you can opt for if you have a loan on the unit. It’s pretty good and would cover accidents after a small deductible.

    Hustler fas trak is a nice mower. I bought one.
    I think you made a good choice. I oned a craftsman gt6000 for over 30 years. It has a 44 inch deck. My hustler has a 54 inch with duel fuel tanks. You can choose witch tank you run from. 4.25 gallon per tank. I got 3200 hydro transmissions.
    But I almost bought a Kubota from our local dealer.

    I wish I looked at different mowers before buying a Kubota Z726X what a pos this mower turned out to be. Only has 300.3 Hours on it and I have changed two coils, the Fuel pump, Starter, and one spindle. Cost me over 12k and I was going to trade it in and they were only going to give me 4300.00 for it. Never again Kubota for a lawn mower-Love my L3901 Tractor the mower sucks.

    her in Norway almost everyone has robot mowers even golf courses are using robot mowers her I still have a john deere lawn tractor but I'm using it for different purposes like hauling firewood and many other tasks so I'm still not going to get a robot mower

    • @athomeinthesouth01
      @athomeinthesouth01  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think a lot of Americans, including myself, still get a lot of pleasure from mowing our lawns and will not resort to a robot. Im sure there are many who will but I think the majority will continue to do it themselves.
