@@The_JustJoshing That's why I hate when people say that being the "fastest" makes you the best. I completely disagree because if you can play super fast but it sounds like garbage, you aren't that good. For me what makes the "best guitarist" is your melodic knowledge and capabilities, ability to solo, and just sounding good.
To hear this song live and see the Rev up on the big screen is so emotional. Although he is gone, he is never forgotten. They still have his voice singing his parts in concert. To hear the Rev's voice echo through the stadium still is unbelievable. It's a very emotional concert for us fans. If you notice too Synyster's guitar says REV in it instead of SYN.
They actually have a song where most of the song is the revs last song he wrote and shadows had to finish its...its a true suicide note...that's why in this song he said" a final song a last request" the song is called "fiction"
I lost my parents 6 days apart, this was the song I went to after my dad died. They have such strength, such grace to carry on as they did and honour Jimmy by living their best lives and it was such a comfort. I love this song despite it making me cry every time particularly when I get the chance to see them play live. They will always be my heart
SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU DO THIS REACTION!!!! THANK YOUUU (this song always gets me emotional. Just the bond that these amazing guys shared and to lose somebody they were so close to is heartbreaking.)
I lost my Grandmother who raised me almost 3 years ago and it still hurts like hell. But your words at the end of the video were very comforting. Shout out to you Gibby
Boy, gibby you’ve done it now. Every time I hear this song, it hits me so hard to the point I start thinking of my own life. Respect to you for giving your condolences. It just shows there are still good people in this world.
A7X was my and my best friend Mark’s favorite band. We both bonded and cried over the death of Jimmy when we were 16-17. Mark and I were fortunate enough to see A7X together 4 times, the last time being 4 months before Mark passed away. His family asked me to give his eulogy, carry his casket, and pick all of the music for his funeral. Obviously I made sure this song was played. I miss him so much and every time I hear this song, I ball like a baby for my friend.
@@QuestNarratives007 I don't think so....I don't think anyone reacts to that song.....true fans or older fans know that....same with entire 1st 2 albums

Doesnt matter how many times I hear this, or how many years go back, this hurts for people I have lost. Too many in my 33 years. Most were lost just when I was a teenager alone...life does go on. Its soo hard.. But it does. And you have your whole life ahead of you. Live it. Love it. If not for you, for them
Gibby I love you, brother. Long time fan, first time caller (due to that weird domain error that won’t let some accounts comment). You were my first reaction vid go-to guy because of your energy, vibes, and respect. I will always stand up with ya boi!
This song was very emotional and made me cry when I first heard it. It still is. I'm a metalhead who loves sad bands, but most of the time I'm blasting death metal. A7X is 15 year old high school memories for me, and I still love them.
having lost people i love, this song really hits the feels, i tear up every time, i struggle each day not to join them ..... its the ones i have left i dont want them to hurt like i am
The level of respect in this video is insane. I came in expecting a regular reaction to a song but you blew me away dude. Huge thumbs up from a huge A7X fan
The fact that the Nightmare album has foREVer on the gravestone shows how special and how legendary and how much love they gave him and how much they wanted him to be included, giving a sign to Rev saying no matter where he is, he’s one of A7X, he’s one of us except this time there will only ever be one of him. ❤
Such a beautiful song 💙 It reminds me of my brother that passed away a few months ago , every time I listen to this song I cry 😭 thank you for your reaction 🙏
I lost my best friend since grade school to a overdose we jammed this tune at his wake, gives me chills every time I hear it, great song with alot of meaning for alot of people who lost loved ones. Keep it up bro. RIP Rev
Ps. Rev had a heart complication, that's one of the things that made Rev take his own life, and the lirycs that Syn made for him says: "I tried to heal your broken heart with all that a could" Beautiful song
He whote a song called "Brompton cocktail" which was the cause of his dead, and left "fiction" recorded on a demo for the Band, Sorry but i don't believe It was accidental.
Love your reactions! This song always gets me in the feels. It was one of the few songs I listened to when I lost my mom a few years ago. #ripjimmytherevsullivan
It's Shadows singing but Brian ( Syn ) does sing back up harmonies and vocals along with Zach during live shows for other songs. I don't know if anyone else sings in this one live or not, but in general Shadows is the only voice you hear on the studio tracks unless you listen to older songs when Jimmy was still with us, he was on studio tracks as well with vocals.
I learned to play this song on guitar, in honor of a close military friend who killed himself after we got home. Helps me feel closer to him and others we've lost.
damn when i saw The rev plays piano, his style is completely unique in such a way that it mesmerize you... he got such a mystic sound like the song 'almost easy"

Yes that is M. Shadows on vocals and Syn making that guitar cry in the Rev’s name 🙏
Absolutely. Zacky and Syn do backup vocals sometimes
YES BRO. Syn shows sooooo much emotion with that guitar. The solo’s get me every fucking time. These guys are definitely one of my favorite bands.

Fiction is NOT a suicide note. Fiction was one of Jimmy’s nicknames.
Jimmy doesn't suicidal...Jimmy and his fellow friend know Jimmy never make it untill 30..cause he had a deceased bro
I dont see it as a suicide I just see it as Jimmy wanted to leave on his own terms and not let his disease take over
think of it more as a farewell, not a suicide note
DeadWire Promotions The name of the song doesn’t mean anything. And it was titled “Death” by the Rev before he passed. The band renamed it in his name
