Thank you for your efforts! Other viewers may want to use Anti-Sieze on the threads prior to re-installing, 2) try to use OEM for computer compatibility; 3) definitely leave plug dangle so as not to put so much twisting strain on the wire; 4) perhaps relocate the connector so as not to be in the close proximity to water drain, or secure more direct drain. Thanks again for your time and efforts!
Yeah, I'm at that point where I'm trying to disconnect that connector. If I ever manage to get it loose then I wonder how I'll be able to reconnect the new connector to it with one hand. I wonder if it would be easier to do the job if I put the truck up on ramps or jack stands? It sure is cramped under there with the truck on the ground.
@@mattlewis9725 3 year old comment but I just tackled the driver’s side top O2 sensor, holy shit was that a cuntANDaHALF. Not sure how to get the top backside though, 2-3 hours of pushing, pulling, huffing, and puffing, heating, spraying, it finally came. Thing was stubborn as a mofo
I had a dual exhaust put on my 96 F250 5.8L and I still only have 1 sensor. The collector tube at the end of my Y pipe still exists connecting both sides. 🤷♂️ oh well? Idk ha ha
How did you break that thing loose so easily? did you loosen it another way prior to this video? And do you have a video for the other two? Those are a bitch to get off. I may drop the exhaust system and pull the passenger side exhaust manifold unless there's an easier way?
Tampa Woodworks God only knows why it came off so easily lol, I was expecting a challenge. I did run the pickup for a few minutes before filming to warm up the pipe, so that may have been the secret. This pickup is obd1 so I only have that one o2 sensor to worry about. I'm assuming yours is a 96?

Thank you for the video. I'm not sure where this 02 sensor is located but I'll find it. Thank you again!! Good video. Make more!

Thumbs up in 2016 thanks for posting the video, was very informative....cheers!
Good job! I'm going to try your heat technique to break loose my egr valve.
I have a question. I have a 1994 F-150 Lightning & am replacing the o2 sensor on it. In that year model do they have only 1 o2 sensor or 2?
It should only have one sensor
@@TheSteelBlinds thanx
Good job, exactly what I needed to tackle mine.
Thank you, glad I could help!
Do you know if I can cut the pipe off after the o2 sensor?? If it would matter I can't find anything on it... so am I able to eliminate the cat?
Kade Dolton You should be able to cut the cat with no problems. Mine didn't have a cat either
thanks bud, Is there only 1 o2 sensor on a 1995 f150
yes, it's an obd1 system so they only came with one. I belive 96 and up had 2 because they switched to odb2. thanks for watching!
96' has 3. Reason why im watching this video...lol son of a bitches are toughhhh to get out.

If it's that easy come get mine out 2 ft breaker bar, penetrating oil overnight, half inch air wrench. Nothing
