  • This is a tutorial to walk you through how I mix beautiful flesh tones for anime girls with watercolor in details, my painting process in a layer system and how these colors are used.
    Anime girl usually have light and peachy skin with a translucent and delicate look. You can mix this color easily with basic colors you have in your palette! Also I'll share with you my favorite watercolor paint brand and name to make the mixing even easier! It's a simple concept, but do require a lot of practice. If you are a beginner to watercolor anime painting, please experiment with the colors you have and paint a lot of faces (or bodies), you'll be a master of skin tone in no time :)

    How do you get a soft look on the skin when applying blush?

    • @ShuziArt
      @ShuziArt  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      After I put on the colour, I immediately rinse the brush and get rid of excess water, or use a separate clean damp brush, to go over the edges of the area I just painted. This way it will soften the edges to get the soft look. Hope it helps.

  • @EdFlaco_
    @EdFlaco_ ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Do you apply the color then soften it with a clean brush?

    • @ShuziArt
      @ShuziArt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I do. I soften the edges as needed.

    how did u like blending the colour taht pop, do u brush itu with a dry brush?

    • @ShuziArt
      @ShuziArt  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure if I fully understand your context, but here are two things you can try 1) adjust the water amount on your brush. It sounds like you might want to use less water if you find your colour is not intense enough. But you also don't want it to be too dry so the paint is not movable. 2) always pay attention to how much water is on your brush, too much water -> dilute the paint and create watermark , too little water -> paint dry too quickly and you get hard edge and dry brush marks. Give it lots of tries and practice and you'll find the sweet spot!

      @@ShuziArt pls i need help every color i tried to blend so i can create skin color does not work sometimes the color is too dark or too light (more Dominant in yellow or red sometimes it just turn into orange)

    • @ShuziArt
      @ShuziArt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you're getting orange you're on the right track. The skin tone is basically a very light orange. The reason it's too dark could be that the orange is too intense. You can try to do it in 2 steps, first mix an orange, then gradually add water to lighten it up to the right tone. Give it a try and let me know if it works! :)
