    I agree, best descending in woman cycling i ve seen so far. Also she read the race very well unlike Lippert for example. Movistar again working hard for her but you have to sense it when to go for it and when to wait. Better attack if Vos is still near.

    @1:56 hold up, Evita Muzic did out-sprint Vollering to win Stage 6 Vuelta 2024, but granted that was after sitting on for about the entire last 1km as Vollering was consolidating her overal GC. But she did have a sprint once. As in once ever, and not likely again today haha

    "Takes all the risks" - I tend to disagree, this looks very controlled and is just fine bike riding. She knows what she is doing, the way Pidcock flicks the bike in and his knee out might look a bit more spectacular, but the end result is great, nevertheless.

      Idiotic comment. Taking risks doesn’t mean she wasn’t in control. It doesn’t matter how in control she is, descending like that is taking a risk. Tom Pidcock was taking risks, and a lot of them.

      @LukeGJPotter 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      On the podcast, Patrick talks about Jonas benefitting from a hard day, where Visma rides and it results in a high KiloJoule expenditure by all riders. But I don't think the women's stages are as long or as hard as the men's stages for this tactic to work in Women's races.

    • @andrasszabo1570
      @andrasszabo1570 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

      Bradbury was keeping the maillot jaune on Niewiadoma, that's why she was killing herself.
      Even if they don't fear her in terms of GC, it's quite understandable to try to keep the most famous jersey in cycling.

    • @Lockeness86
      @Lockeness86 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Frir10 my thought on that: i’m not sure Canyon Sam have enough firepower to control the next two stages. It would make sense to give away the yellow jersey to keep the team fresh for Sunday.
