As you can see making these videos is a huge undertaking, and we hope that this video has shown how the TimeGhost Army is the foundation of everything we do here. We're setting a fundraising goal of $15,000 in new and increased Patreon pledges, and over the next week will be keeping you updated as to our progress toward that goal. This is probably THE most professional and informative show on WW2 out there; in general, not just on TH-cam. I will gladly put forward a few dollars of my hard earned money to help keep things running. I've been watching the series since the Great War back when I was in high school. Juring my lunch hour I would always tune in for an other episode, it became a tradition. Fast forward to my working adult life and nothing has changed! I still sit down every lunch break to learn a little more about one of the most interesting points in human history. It's only fair then, that I give a little in return after all I've learned.
I can't wait to see what future content you guys come up with.

The lengths this team goes to to present history in a comprehensive, all-encompassing yet totally understandable and well communicated fashion simply does not have any parallel. Indy, Spartacus, et al. regularly remind me of that fact as I always learn something new in every episode. Perhaps the greatest benefit of this format for me is how it has made me much more aware of the parallel timelines, what’s going on in the Mediterranean, in the USSR, in the Pacific, in the air, and on the sea, making the incredible scope of the war clearer. My wife and I have supported you for a couple years, since shortly after discovering your outstanding content, and we are pleased to increase our contribution to ensure you can complete the story of the greatest tragedy mankind has yet inflicted upon itself. I've been following the channel for several years now, sharing the newest weekly video with my dad every saturday, and this was a wonderful look behind to scenes to see how this all actually comes together. It's also the little push I needed to join the TimeGhost Army with an annual subscription. I hope the numbers will continue to climb!
I still have a few living relatives such as my grandmother who was a teenager when the war began and lived through the occupation of the Netherlands, and my grandfather (deceased) was sent to Germany as a forced labourer, was sent to a camp for sabotaging machines, and escaped during an air raid, and spent much of the war hiding with a German farmer before joining with the advancing Canadians (he then joined the Dutch army and stayed there as a sergeant until the 1950s). Unfortunately my grandfather passed away long before I was born and I heard he never really spoke much about his wartime experiences, and it's a shame - having a masters in history myself - that I never got to ask him about it myself and the details will likely be gone forever. It goes to show you the importance of recording this information and passing it on before it is lost.

The special episode ad presentation and integration has been by far the best I can remember. The ad had fit perfectly and made sense - to watch and not to skip.
I like that way you had chosen cause it shows the emphasis you had spend to put the advertiser in the right context and it was not a waste of time, just a good decision and preparation.
Chapeau and good luck for the Normandy series or better the whole 1944 campaign ahead of you even though I still struggle a lot with the 1 year offset being 2023 and talking about 1944 instead of 1943. But overall a great progress and overview about all the bits and pieces that needed to be in place to record the next whatever - especially in those corona years we had passed with so many supply chain issues.
    thanks a lot

I've been following since the Great War, and as a lover of history, Time Ghost, put simply, is invaluable. You've all helped me better understand humanity's capacity for great evil and enormous heroism. You've helped put the modern world, which can seem so hurricanic when viewed from ground-level, into context - knowledge from this channel has alleviated my fears of the future countless times. And yet, somehow, Time Ghost has always maintained a charming, companionable demeanor that, at a personable level, elevates simple informing to what feels like real, genuine communication.
I don't think "thank you" really begins to cover it.

Well, of course it's much difficult than what most think. You need to have a studio. And you actually need these money- you have to pay your team, as well as the cost of the equipment you use. The research takes a lot of time, and I can confirm this with my own experience. I really appreciate and enjoy your videos. I sometimes manage to capture some videos live and that's really good. Sadly, I can't support you yet, because I'm not 18 and I don't have card. All I can do is subscibing and giving a like to your projects. Overall, good job and keep up the work!

Been watching your videos since the early days of the Great War since I was just 15 years old, now I'm a 23 student. After Indy's stories about battles of the Isonzo and the Italian front in my youth, I enrolled in the exchange program in Trentino, Italy and saw a great deal of the war relics there, without you guys those things would just be bricks and stone to me. It really encouraged me to explore the region and strengthen passion for history in general. I couldn't afford to support your guys right now cause the exchange rates are crazy in Vietnam, but soon I can and it's good to contribute to your project. Keep up the good work.

I've been a TG Army Specialist ($9 pledge) since August 2019. I will not say why I think others should join, because I believe it should be every person's own decision :) I will, however, share why I decided to join, and why I will raise my pledge: because what you're doing is just amazing. You're pouring your hearts into a magnificent project of huge proportions, documenting the reality and preserving the memory of the events that have affected so many lives and shaped the world as it is today. You're dedicating your lives to spread awareness of a topic that will only ever be interesting to a relatively narrow group of people - let's face it, few care about history. My appreciation for you is beyond words, and if you ask me, I think you _should_ be swimming in money and cruising in convertibles. Thank you so much for your hard work and I wish you all the best.

Even though I didn't have a job I still signed up for the $9/month tier because the content being made here was like none other. The level of quality, detail, and dedication is frankly indescribable with any known words. Now I have an adult job with adult money and I have up'd to the $25/month tier. I honestly do not know what I will do with my weeks come August 1945, but what I do know is I will enjoy every video until then and that this is the best place I have ever spent my money.

Time Ghost has become the only TH-cam channel I support directly through patreon, because as other content gets more restricted or less interesting, Time Ghost only continues to get ever better as both a source of history and a source of positive entertainment. Add that to the fact that, as the last eleven and a half months have shown us, we all need to remember these lessons and we need as many people as possible to be encouraged to learn about it. As Indy says, history doesn't happen in a vacuum. We are living inside of history right now, and Time Ghost shows us that better than any other avenue of history education or entertainment I've ever seen. Thank you to the team, and to everything you do. Your work is appreciated.

Discovered The Great War way back in Spring 1918. Been following ever since. When this project began, I threw a Patreon subscription at it. Its the least I felt I could do for one of my most valued sources of edu-tainment these last few years. WWII day by day is remarkable. The Specials on Time Ghost are remarkable. Pearl Harbor was a damn masterpiece. If the Allied plans for a great western European invasion bear fruit, I know the team will be wherever and whenever that invasion comes. The coverage is sure to be another 10/10.

Thanks for doing this; I think it's easy for most people to underestimate the number of individuals and volume of work it takes to build videos at the level of quality you do at Time Ghost. As for me personally, finding this channel blew my mind and opened my eyes to what is possible to do with a historical TH-cam channel. The level of detail in each of your weekly videos makes the viewer feel like they were really experiencing what it was like to be alive during those difficult times, and gives me new appreciation for the generations that came before me. The relatively safe world we know today is only thanks to their struggling efforts to save and rebuild it for us. Thank you, grandma and grandpa, rest in peace.

So many stories, so little time. I have been a Patreon "private" for a long time. I just upped it because your work needs more support. You always provide detailed, honest info, which is not always comfortable (for any country). The War Against Humanity series on it's own deserves significant, additional praise. Many of us know only bits and pieces of the stories of the non-combatants. Sparty "brings the receipts," showing from where we get the numbers. More importantly, the numbers are put into human terms. He does it with sensitivity, even when being brutally honest. I can't imagine how many times it must have felt overwhelming to create such impactful, important content. Thank you to the whole team - Astrid, Indy, and Sparty.
