I see someone likes Persona. But seriously, this topic has similar common themes of the series; that is we are living in a world of bullsh*t and have to confront the truth, no matter how painful that may be

This is general mental health problem. Here in Russia our boss earn 5 million $ per year, and our 50 empoyees earn 0.5 million in total, he is hyper productive and force people to earn money for him, but spends most of his wealth just to reinforce his child trauma.

12:04 This is highly relateable. I know far too many whose thoughts venture no further than the bookies, the pub, and the footy.
I lamented it a few weeks ago myself. If only people got as impassioned about politics as they did about football.

Bullshit jobs are redundant jobs. These redundant jobs help keep wages low by having a large reserve of workers to replace those workers who ask for more money.

While this raises valid points, presentation aside. The problem is far more that unfortunately, nothing is going to change and even pointing out all the problems does nothing because the masses are, very much as the "ruling class" wants distracted with their own little carrot on a stick. The amount of people with the capacity to realize it, and work around it can literally only do what they can for themselves and those they care about. Unfortunately when it comes to people Individually? We are highly complex. As collective? Terribly simple and predictable.

Being rich is all about secrecy be it intellectual property or business management practices.
The only way to defeat capitalism is to cease the means of production. However every emotion has a different response based on their upbringing and people live in their perceived notion of reality which people can relate to varying degrees with either agreement to or against it

The existence of bullshit jobs might be an inevitable result of our highly complex society. You can find many ways to give your work different meanings by yourself. If possible, you can also save some money with a bullshit job; quit at certain time to persue your dream or start your own business. XD We may have a future video regarding this topic

I don't see why so many of you people come to the conclusion capitalism has failed. In many ways people have gotten a boost in wages for their work and productivity. On the low level it no doubt has not been fortunate but employers don't often give raises to people who do work that can be more easily trained.

15:55 Yes! THANK YOU! Increasing technology FREES US UP from drudgery horribly boring or painful work. Only idiots who never actually worked a backbreaking job like farming or collecting trash think the opposite.
