You need to mention Gambit sometimes, it's a good invader weapon there because of the infinite range and wallhacks you passively get. I swear all I die to from invaders is either Leviathan's Breath or Truth, and some people actually do like Gambit well enough that they play it.

Khepera Oathkeepers when it came out in forsaken WAS supposed to give You faster drawspeed and simulator things like that but it just didnt work so instead They just made it so that You could hold the bowstring forever and only that
My team has always rocked this bow in survival. It's easy to bait out the ammo of other options like Wardcliff coil, machine guns and grenade launchers, so this feels safer
I feel that i might be the only person that likes this exotic. It's great for taking down majors from a distance, does big chunks of damage paired with always having max ammo if you have bow mods on, best of all it stuns enemies, even stunlocks bosses. Stun locking bosses in nightfalls or or any activity allows you and your teammates to do damage safely and stops the boss from escaping into an immunity phase.
think I disagree slightly on the PvE side of things. Maybe it's just subjectivity, but this thing isn't as bad as you might think in my opinion. Used it recently in Last Wish and was pulling out very decent numbers each run. Although, you are punished heavily for missing the fast head hit boxes such as that of Shuro Chi
Its dps is of that of a primary. Good damage that i could get compare amount with an autorifle with vorpal on it or use a multitude of weapons that are drasically better

It's not very popular but I love it, I really do it hits hard and the sights are not that bad for the damage it does (easier to shoot 12 rounds on target) than something like landing 24 straight crits with Whisper for similar damage. If you run heavy ammo finder/scavenger the ammo economy is very pleasant. Don't get me wrong I don't spam the weapon at everything I see but something about me feels wrong when I almost always have full ammo and a heavy drops which I can't pick up. I feel like I'm wasting it at that point lol and just want to fire a round to pick it up.
I think this bow should counter all three champion types. At the moment it's just too situational to justify its use. That said I do actually enjoy using it while messing around in strikes, public events etc where its drawbacks don't matter.

Edit: another weapon could be Queenbreaker, we already have the cunt of the Arbalest. Just give the blinding effect a little change and less aim assist. The gun was on special in D1, so nobody can say shit, including that fusions receive HELLA lot of flinch in PvP
"As you would expect from a weapon that fires 2 meter long bolts..." Bruh it's the smallest bow in the game, the bolts are less than 1 meter. Seriously, go to the tower and equip it alongside a subtle calamity. Levi's Breath is laughably small in comparison.

I just noticed the fact that our character is literally drawing a bow that's "string", is made of metal chains. Idk something about that just made me realize how strong Guardians are lol.
First and foremost ist's fun to use with a satisfiying feel and sound. I actually like to use it in gambit, since it oneshots players and does decent damage. It also staggers the taken wizards in the bossfight making them an easy target. pvp. Yes, bows in general are not the best to use, but fun. I'm not really good in pvp, but using a bow made me quite good at reading the radar, since you really need to work with the information. So I guess it has its benefity, atleast for me.

I miss hard destiny. In hard destiny these exotics would all shine in their own worlds. I also miss when exotics were rare. This exotic is given to you upon log in compared to Destiny 1’s quests. Easier Exotic quests should drop from rng either through picking up exotic engrams that come from random enemies (not nightfall or raid bosses) or if theyre given to you they should be extremely hard or grindy to compensate (exotic swords from d1). im sick and tired of easy destiny. im tired of the handouts.

Zedd right oathkeeper needs to be more than just “I can draw the arrow forever”
It should rapidly decrease arrow draw time and allow you to indefinitely hold the nocked arrow.

It dominates in Gambit as both an invader and against them, as well as decent boss damage. And in ordeals with void ultras it kicks ass all day.

If we ever get a catalyst that reduces the draw time, I'll consider pulling this thing out of the vault
and reserve boost (although, i would rather Bungie just boosts the reserve amount as a balancing patch instead of a catalyst).

The best things for me about this bow is the knockback and how it can 2 shot Envoys in gambit.
LordRae for the envoys I find that python does a great job. You can two hit them if you proc one two punch - shoot and then punch.
