I've never been to Japan but I know everything about Japan because a few Japanese people said so in the street video I watched, trust me bro."
With the risk of sounding pretentious, Takashi's channel is a copy of other channels (Which is fine). Definitely not original but good content. He took advantage of the "youtube shorts" boom when it first came out. He also does exactly what you are saying with the cherry picked interviews, he is no different there. What I do like about his videos however, is he is (or seems) open to interview just about anyone with a unique circumstance.

At first I saw the title and was surprised that Sora would get involved in TH-cam drama. Then I happened to see the short where they met, and seeing how much fun they had meeting each other I realized Sora was just up to his usual tricks again.
When he said he didn't like Sakura and liked Ino I was nodding my head approvingly. That's how I felt watching the anime and reading the manga when they were still kids. Entertaining interview. I liked how Takashi flipped the insinuation of not reading the air back onto Sora lol.
I think both channels are great, Takashi for the information for travellers and Sora for the real streets of Japan, silliness and humility. I like that Sora talks to anyone
