The Rock is an egomaniac off camera. He wanted to take over the F&F series which mainly belonged to Vin Diesel considering he has been apart of the series since the first movie.
He reveals plenty with the questions he chooses to ask and the answers he chooses to have on his channel. You'd have to be blind not to get a clear distinct message out of it.
Not sure about that. He sometimes gives his opinion about the topic at hand in the end of his videos lol

The best thing about this interview is that Takashii comes across, as he always does, as a genuinely nice, down-to-earth guy. It’s great when people like that are successful.

I have seen other channels with a similar content. But TAKASHii is certainly the most wholesome of the bunch. I think I have been a subscriber of his channel not long since he started. It is quite a journey seeing he has over 2 million subscribers now.
I think the idea of cultural interview is really neat. I want to see channels targeted toward other countries about interviewing American cultures or other cultures.
I was thinking of starting an American channel like this myself.

I like Takashi's videos. And I think that it's cool that he doesn't care about the negative comments too much. Also, I don't think that his videos neccessarily mean that Japan is 100% what is being shown by Takashi, but they are fun videos to watch. I'm glad he's doing ok with TH-cam.

Thank you. One of my favorite things is to see two TH-camrs together. It was the first time for me to see Takashi speak so much Japanese. His voice seems deeper, and it was nice to see him in this natural candid atmosphere. I enjoyed this very much.
I never thought of Takashi's videos as high quality compared to other similar interviews. They are well executed for sure, but I find them endearing for their simplicity and parts where 'why did you do it that way' and 'that could've been better but you're a normal youtuber so it's fine.' I've seen other youtubers who have 'copied' his style (and people who've done his type of style before him), and although they tend to be lesser in quality, they are still generally similar as well.

I'm Thai and he was doing youtube here in Bangkok a few times. I was watching him since he started and I was telling others 'hey look at his channel, he just interviewed ppl and he got millions subs!' He is different from others who is doing the same thing. I feel he is authentic and as someone you can relate to; not over the top..not over trying etc. I really like your quote 'As long as they're copying me, they will never surpass me'

Tbh asian boss was the one who pioneered these street interview content, takashii while pretty good himself is fairly new to the format
I've seen street interviews even before Asian Boss. Maybe they made it popular, but they did not pioneer it.
There was also Ask Japanese who was already quite successful in 2020
The first one I saw was That Japanese Man Yuta. He's been doing it for about a decade, but he's not as active anymore.
Asian Boss lost all credibility when it was exposed for having a Chinese activist appear as an average Taiwanese in a street interview in Taiwan. And they deleted all the comments pointing it out. Asian boss pretends to be neutral, but in reality they are quite political and have a specific agenda.

The fact you asked that same question every time and he never broke is hilarious
from what i've saw from him from his first few videos is like listening to joe rogan's podcasts 50+ episodes. it's feels like your are in the scene, behind the camera listening from what mostly the same type of questions and conversations we would like to ask and talk on both foreigners and locals alike about Japan stuff and get the near or exact answers from them.
I LOVE Takashi!!! His channel is awesome and interesting because I get the Japanese point of view most of the time. This is the first time I've been to your channel and I like it too so I will subscribe to yours as well. Peace and love from Texas USA…✌️🏼😊

i always thought he was the japanese version of the easy german team. but i actually started watching him in 2022 because i was interested in what games japanese people play and he really was the only one who did this kind of content in japan.

Although they are genuine reason someone may want to leave a comment there is a dopamine factor for getting likes on your comment or comments on your comment or a heart from Sora
As I learn more about Japan I find that the reason Takashi is so controversial is that he is willing to talk about more taboo topics but be humble about it so he doesn't come off as a brash individualist who feels as though they're better then the people around him.
Though he is not in the spotlight in his interviews. He is in the spotlight BECAUSE he does interviews.
