- I have a friend, who doesn't speak English. This time, I decided to make him take an online English lesson today. I hired one of my close friends as an English teacher (She's a popular teacher and also is experienced) and told her to do a lesson for my Japanese friend. Let's see how it goes.

Those are common manners you expect from an Asian country. When I had cousin come over for a sleepover, I had them sleep on my bed while I was on the ground, futon like style.

fun fact- you only need to learn ~2000 word families to understand 95% of conversations English and ~5000 for 98%. the other ~995,000? mostly superfluous: synonyms (which you can infer with context) and specialist/technical terms (e.g. chemistry, biology, physics, engineering, carpentry, mathematics, psychology, religion, etc.) or condensing an idea into a single word (e.g. infer, superfluous, 69)
She's the MVP just going along with everything and laughing while also still actually teaching

@@KaiFulci I'd say he knows as much english as I know french, as in, I learned how to sound out the reading in grade school, but can't have a conversation, understand what people are saying to me, or anything. Japan's compulsory education includes an english program, but it's not required that they become fluent by any means.

I sometimes help Japanese people with their English and I'm very amazed at how well he said creepy phrases in English without feeling embarrassed/keeping his composure all while Sora was cackling like a goblin. Props to Hiroki
