Thank you for the inspiration. This is a great idea to make categories and a short list then try one from each list. Thank you I enjoy seeing what you are knitting I am much older but it helps to keep my own choices fresh. I’m grateful for all you do here on your channel
I think you can totally rock a bolero! But the ingrid cardi would be a good dupe if you substitute the ribbing for icord ( the one I did for my Maggie cardigan was from the KutovaKika Sailor swift tutorial and works s treat for that type of mod) thanks for another interesting video!
Hi Rebecca, have you looked into Ozetta's Roadtripper tee? It's a Henley tee. The pattern calls for sport weight yarn but I made it work using fingering weight yarn (Rosa Pomar Mondim sock yarn). I knitted 1 size up.
I'm so excited for the Market Henley! The moment I 1st saw it teased I stalked it to find out the yardage needed for me and bought yarn ❣️ I'm actually swatching with it right now. I think I might change my mind and go a different route with what I have and go back and get some hand dyed super special for it! That's been my favorite type of shirt to wear in the past and decided on a more moody color palette than what I currently have. Still excited to knit it though. Once I figure it all out I'll buy the pattern... I have stopped buying patterns I think I'm going to make, obviously I have decision fatigue and change my mind often enough to have a library of patterns I've not made yet. I have got to get better at this lol so from now on I'm going to wait until I know I'm going to CO then purchase... Limited funds, better choices = more yarn 💙
For the Aran weight cardigan, you could substitute Quince & Co Kestrel to make it into a warmer weather cardigan. I did that for the Wave of Change Jacket (after seeing the designer do it) and it made for a great warmer weather cardigan without needing to mod the pattern gauge.
I really enjoyed this video! I think it was a great round up. Cleaves by Katherine Summer O'Neal is another fun shrug/sleeve/bolero, only off the shoulder.
Actually, I think the Bernadini looks very like the Blouse No. 2 from My Favorite Things, but just with a split down the front and a more rounded neckline. The stitch pattern and drop shoulder looks very similar x
The Ingrid Cardigan also comes in a summer sweater version, which is sport weight and the sample is done in a cotton/silk, Maybe a combination of the cardigan for construction and the sweater for the gauge may be the perfect fit?
the cumulus o-neck has a slightly different raglan distribution from the v-neck as well (more stitches on the sleeves, fewer on the back) which makes it sit a little different than the v-neck i think!! (also very random but where is your tshirt from? i love the sleeve length 😅)
I haven’t heard of that design!! Thank you for the suggestion 😍 I was going to get the ingrid cardigan pattern tonight but I think I may knit this one now
I love love love that you are not rushing summer away. You have inspired me to make the cumulus tee.

Ah thank you for the kind words! Happy knitting! ☺️
Finally caught up on all of your videos! Love it! What a great collection of patterns- I want to cast on so many things 👀👀👀
These are so perfect for this time of year!

OMG, you've reminded me my boleros too! I used to wear those when I was at school😁
Yess haha the lazenza girl fit!! Or maybe lazenza girl was just a Canadian thing? 😂😭
Hi Rebecca. Loved your podcast. subscribed now. 🥰
I really like the Flores and Dawe sweaters. 🧶
I’m really tempted to cast on both!!
Fantastic collection. I agree that the Corran cardigan could be an option in this group. Easy knit snd simple lace.

I think the Ingrid Sweater by Gergoria would be a great dupe option for that crochet cardigan!

Ooo very interesting! I have a fingering weight linen so maybe if I held with something else too it could work

Oooo the cleaves is so cool!! 🔥🔥

A few people have been saying that as well! I’m definitely looking into it now - thank you! ☺️
for the bernardini dupe I wonder if you could use the bouse no. 2 by MFTK and knit it as a cardigan?
I thought about that too! But I’m worried about the fit with the boat neckline 🤔
@@hipknithooray I think if you add the I cord bows at thz neck it oight to be stable enough!

Ooo good point! It would be a better fit gauge wise to go with the summer sweater version

Ah good to know - my mistake haha! 😅 My tshirt is from Pac Sun many many years ago! Baby tee lengths are my favourite too
Have you checked the Sadie Cardigan by Sarah Hatton. This is an older pattern but may be more like the lace cover up you were mentioning.
I haven’t heard of that design!! Thank you for the suggestion 😍 I was going to get the ingrid cardigan pattern tonight but I think I may knit this one now
@@hipknithooray oh wow, I am so glad I watched today and could be helpful. There you go, that is serendipity!!
Maybe blouse no 2 by mftk could work if you Modifyed it to be a cardigan
❤
