I have a 2000 Jeep TJ showing "Check Gauges" It's the one with the battery voltage. It drops to zero. I thought my battery was old and I figured it is time to buy a new battery so I did. I plugged everything back with brand new battery terminals installed and I can tell the immediate difference in the start up. It's a quicker and much healthier start up but the same gauge dropped again... I'm confused. Help!!!🙏🏼
Mine has come on, glow plugs do not light, vehicle won't start, no error codes (cleared errors anyway and plugged back in, error free). Replaced glow plug relay, nope. Replaced glow plug control module, nope. I took out the battery and charged it, worked for a while then started it's crap again with check gauges error (still no error codes read). Took it for alternator test, alternator works 100%. Will try to charge up battery again or replace... but will first check all ground connections. My service 4WD system light has also decided to join the party, so maybe it's a cam or diff sensor... "Check gauges" seems to be one of those "general error" messages, could be anything, all my visible analogue type gauges are fine. Edit: If I quickly switch the ignition on an off a few times (very fast 5 - 10 times), then the glow plug light comes on before it get's a chance to give the gauge error and it starts... very weird, and annoying.
Ok the light issue might be diffrent from ur car dying I wiukd start from check or replacing head light bulbs but the other issue is somthing else can u make video how it’s a acting and post it here
And of what part r u wanting to hear the way it starts or running ? Cause it is stalling dying out as I'm driving , only on the streets not the freeway.

The speed gauge isn’t working, radio won’t work, window buttons for the doors don’t work, windshield wipers don’t work either , and I have no blinkers. It runs still, but after sitting too long it dies so we charge it back up. My dad and I have checked grounds and fuses but still trying to figure this commander out, if anyone knows or has any ideas please lmk 😅
Well check ur alternator output voltage check the engine temp use scan tool to read that check oil pressure psi this light is related to these things the washer pump and all other are just simple other fixes
I recently had this problem and it was from melted wiring under the carpet behind the passenger seat. These wire sit right on top of the muffler. My guess is that the heat shield may have rotted on top of the muffler and the floor is getting way too hot. The carpet was discolored in this spot as well from high heat.
So now my check gauges light comes on and my battery gauge turns on and than drops to 0. I took off my negative on my battery while the Jeep was on and it stayed on. Would you happen to know what’s going on?
Alec Pointer first you have to scan the car see what codes you have the check gauge will be on if ur car dosent start it can be bad crank sensor but u need to scan it for codes first
@@RBTheMechanic well fluid level is OK, wipe off the fan blade other day, haven't drive up any hill since the last time it happened. Change my engine oil it was due to change, wasn't changed when it happened. Dirt was on the fan blade, use soap water wipe it off for cooler breeze to blow.

Check fuses and all connection also check how much voltage output of alternator is
03 jeep flashing light battery level is low and the coolant temp one never went past 210

Some might not be making good connection could be igntion switch

Ok what year keep you have ... check light can be anything from oil pressure switch coolant temp sensor alternator voltage

When the trans over heat light come on, what is the cause of it?

Cooler can be blocked check the fluid level fan if it works and see if the cooler fins r blocked with dirt debre
