Alot of the old telegraph poles still stand on this section, remember going back when this was V/line to Pakenham
Things have changed a lot over the years, that's for sure. 👍😀
This was like going back in time 🤣 Loads of progress on new stations, overpasses, crossing removals between Narre & Pakenham, all of which is awesome… Retiring N Class… not awesome 😭 👍
Glad you enjoyed the ride. Hopefully the N class has a little time left. 🤔👍😀
Very cool 😮👍
Thank you. Very happy you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Wait 'til Friday, they'll be *packin' 'em in at the Pakenham Inn!* LOL
🤣🤣👍😀
@neilforbes416 long time no see welcome back
@@Mediawatcher2023 I've been watching, but not as many as I used to. I've diversified my interests into other subjects.
@@neilforbes416 Ah ok in other words you have moved on.
It’s horrendous to see how many potholes there are on the section between Narre Warren and Pakenham, but not like Metro would care, as they appear to only like saving money.
Nice video btw
Very happy you enjoyed the ride, even if it was a bit bumpy 🤣🤣👍😀
What was the dumb idea behind lack of express tracks?
@@qjtvaddict money I would say would have been a major problem. 🤔👍🤣
Only one thing that sounds better than the 12-645E3 in this vid, and thats a 16-645E3B!!
It's a matter of taste of course, but I much prefer listening to the nice bass frequencies of the 12. Especially in N6-N8. The 16 is too shrill in the top end for me, it seems to drown everything else out.
I do like the sound when powering along. 😀 Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀
@@MonikerfkYT I certainly agree with the shrill noise bit. If you can listen to an unmuffled/barely muffled version, they sound much nicer. The ‘ N ‘ class depicted in this vid, used to pass within about 1 km of my home, powering up or idling to a stand, depending on direction of travel, and yes, the sound was just fantastic. These days we get to hear the VLO’s ( barely ) and they sound like an angry sewing machine, that is till they blast their ‘ horn ‘. Then, they just sound weird.😁
🤣🤣👍😀
when do you think there going to retire the n class?
I think the N class still has a few more years to go. I think the last line to see them will be the Swan Hill line. 👍😀
What are the yellow and white number tags.
White are km's from Melbourne. Yellow are speed limit around corresponding curves. 👍😄
@@driver667 Thank you 😊
