Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"! - บันเทิง

Grand Trunk (GT) Railroad is Not to be confused with the Grand Funk Railroad Band. 😬👍
Very true
However GFR took their name from the GTR believe it or not
How original
@@thefrase7884 Michigan pride

Love that Good & Plenty insert 👍
Still love the dancing bears
Relaxing ending….☺️
I thought that NS DPU looked familiar. I caught and posted that anaconda UP empty coal drag coming out of Big Ten Curve and climbing the grade to Tunnel #1 at Blue Mountain Drive in Arvada.
Thanks for sharing. 👍🐾👍
Double Empty Coal Drag at Big 10 Curve. 👍🙏
Dang that's a Monster 🚂
The Big 10 curve train was cool and the ending with the rain at the train station was also neat.
Surfliner and VT fam smiles and waves in Capistrano 😊
Plenty of military equipment on the move.🇺🇲
Hey I See Cocacola Truck in Roanoke, VA - East!!
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, especially the UP military train and the CSX military train, I like them, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much.
You are welcome!
Cool video
Thanks!
Your welcome
Thanks another good GB, VR. Also thanks for Executive SD70MAC 9570 and the Montana Rail Link Boxcars (I like the Livery and have Accuready and Athearn HO versions)
The Train behind the River Boat at Fort Madison was a nice longshot and the way that the rain came on at La Plata was cool.
😀😀👍👍
Nice wave from NS Conductor in Elkhart, good video and catch on the EMD SD70ACE VA HU on point, might be heading up to Roanoke tomorrow to do some railfanning!🛤🚂
❤
Thanks Ya'll Great video. Have a wonderful day.
The Great Northern wood chip car is like the Boston and Maine covered hoppers, not going away.
Fantastic! (Just so you know, Othello is a town in Washington state.) Horseshoe Curve is looking beautiful and springlike, the looooong train on Big 10 Curve was amazing, the lights on the night train @8:49 were stunning, the tie-unloader was neat, and the Grand Trunk Western was just plain cool--and to top it all off, another musical visit to stormy La Plata. Superb--thank you so much!
Thank You! We try to put a little of everything in, and balance the Grab Bag. At 8:49 those were regular tank cars reflecting the RR signal and car headlights (making an interesting show). We knew about "The Bard" and Othello, (and the town) but since the decal was worn, we thought it might be spelling something different because some of the names are crossword worthy, lol. So glad you appreciate our eclectic offerings.
Is there any chance that VR could make connection with the Tehachapi Loop Bed and Breakfast live webcams? They have awesome pictures of trains going around the Tehachapi Loop, plus four other web cams along the line from Bakersfield, CA to Mojave CA. It would be a great addition to the VR family. Thanks for all your highly entertaining and informative Grabbags.

@@joepeach997 Thanks for the explanation about the light show; I loved it even without knowing what was making it happen but now it's all the cooler!
@@joepeach997 I will. Thanks.
*Awesome Catches*
Every time I witness CSX grand show train, I wish they would treat the working trains with the same concern. Shamefully not so.

Congratulations, you caught North Cascade Railfan in Skykomish!
Sight: common
👍🏽🤠😂
ALL Aboard! 👍
I always like that commercial
An oldie but goodie.
Cool grab bags! Love my tanker trains
Lots of heritage units
4:58 P3 Horn on a GEVO?
I wonder how many cars on the Big Ten?
Oh my gosh
Hi Virtual Railfan & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Virtual Railfan & Friends Randy
Nope, I didn't have plushie sharks and dancing bears on my Grab Bag card today. 🤣 Always great entertRainment, keep 'em coming!
I saw NS 14Z with NS 1071 at the start of the vid!
6:54 What the heck was that inside that caboose?
Something that the old timers will get. Look up: Choo-choo Charlie, Good and Plenty. 😉
🚂 great editing 🚂
That train was like a snake in Colorado wow
At 13:38 why are the vestibule doors open on the deadheading Amtrak train?
Charlie says, love that good & plenty…Charlie says, really rings a bell…
@6:17. Things that make you go Hmmmm.
15:40 What's under the covers?
I was wondering the same thing!!
Hard to believe that the BN was founded 54 years ago.
Once again a wonderful show.
But I simply must know.
At timestamp 16:00,
Just what IS that cargo?
Any idea what the light show is at 8:39 ? ?
Those are regular tank cars reflecting the RR signal and car headlights, they might have been in the rain at some point because of the reflectivity.
@@joepeach997 I live north of Chehalis. lots of rain lately.
Thanks! Now that I look really close I can see the top hatches -- I need new glasses or a better monitor
What is a "caught train" ?
Did anyone count how many coal cars were in the consist on big 10?
i love your videos. Great way to see lots of exiting trains without having to be there. One question isn't there an issue running long military trains like that, in daylight ? wouldn't it be safer to spread the tanks over several trains ? and the best ending ever ! supernice to watch ! thanks !
With all the people sending their greetings to cameras in the Grab Bag, I guess it's true that Virtual Railfan rules the "waves."
Some of those box cars haven't been painted since the 50's
My friend was there 😮
Where can I book those dancing bears for my next party?
5:37 I wonder if the Abrams Tanks are part of the $61 billion military aid package for Ukraine.
I do not understand why you stop the video to show the names on the doors of the “Cryo” reefers. Why??
Because a lot of us like them and think they are fun. They're like grab bags in their own right; you never know what kind of name you'll see.
@@donnaj9964 For example, the car at 4:19 took me by surprise. I've actually been to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and it's a nice place to visit in the Smoky Mountains. I just wish CSX or NS had a rail line running in that area.
Be nice to know when the click-bait happened. Gone.
Click-bait? It's free, must you have more? Bye.
It is absolutley NOT cool that it is that long and dont glorify it.
How long is it?
It's a nice Tuesday evening with a new episode of VR Grab Bag
I've got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll it doesn't get any
better than this does it.🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲
no it does not!
Now you got cinnamon rolls on my mind, just as I'm about to get groceries.
Ooh, I envy you the cinnamon roll!
