They have many different sounds but one main one that you can hear often is the automatic drain valve for the air system. It drains moisture out of the air system. Maybe that's the one you've heard. Glad you enjoyed the ride. 👍 😀

@@brianmcgill7314 there was a trespasser on the track earlier that caused a bank up of trains. The maximum speed of this train is 130kph once it has clear track ahead. 👍😀

Yes but it was extended to Craigieburn a number of years ago now. 👍😀
