- Travel with the train driver as we journey from Broadmeadows to Wallan in the North East of the state of Victoria, Australia on this regular passenger service from Melbourne to Seymour run with a Sprinter railcar. The slow trip out of the suburbs is due to an earlier bank up of suburban trains. December 2023.

G'day, thank for the ride, last time l stood on the platform of the old Wallan Station was in the 1970s and traveled to Melbourne in a red rattler carage, the whole area has changed so much, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

Awesome ride.May I ask what is the hissing sound these trains make?
They have many different sounds but one main one that you can hear often is the automatic drain valve for the air system. It drains moisture out of the air system. Maybe that's the one you've heard. Glad you enjoyed the ride. 👍 😀
didnt the electrification used to go only as far as broadmeadows?
Yes but it was extended to Craigieburn a number of years ago now. 👍😀
@@driver667 and those stations between broadmeadows and craigieburn were they added at the same time as the electrification to craigieburn? they look newish
