When he arrived on the scene, he was the first that really had it all. It was a big hit but almost everything he sang was a big hit. Elvis came along at the right time when young people were looking for something different. And he sure was different. Thanks for your reaction Harri. 👏👏🥰🇨🇦
Harry, some gospel by Elvis - How great thou art (1972, blue suit), Why me, Lord?, Where no-one stands alone (with his daughter), Oh happy days (rehearsal, red shirt).
First saw Elvis on the Milton Berle Show, a few months before his first Ed Sullivan Show appearance. I was 8 years old and an instant fan. Loved the Jordanaires' backup vocals in those early sons too!
There are close to 800 Elvis recordings, so it isn't hard for most people to find gems that they haven't heard. There are so many fantastic vocals and incomparable performances. Thanks for this one of young Elvis rocking out. He was the best ❤❤❤
I remember listening to this in a record store where you took the disc into a booth and played it, no head phones.😊 of course I bought the 45 record. Loved him then, love him now.
The actress in the studio with Elvis was Judy Tyler. She and her 2nd husband died (him a day or two later at hospital) in a car crash in Wyoming. Elvis thought the world of her and was quite devastated when she died.
HI there Great reaction Thank you HarriBest . You may be interested to know that in 1982 The Shadows (massive Elvis fans and of course they were teenagers when this song was released) recorded a vocal version of this song for their album 'Life In The Jungle.' Incredibly on line 3 of the first verse: 'You're gonna make me sore', Hank B Marvin sounds just like Elvis! It's a nice version and i've met the guys many times in the past and liked them so if you would at sometime please react to 'their' version too I would be very grateful.😀♥
Harri, it's been a while i love all your Elvis reactions, you are a great reactor. He would never watch this movie the lady sitting on the sideline was killed right after this movie was released, she was in a car with her husband and died in a crash, he was devastated. It was probably the same writers Lieber and Stoller who wrote the trac from Jailhouse Rock. He was a youngster here. Thanks
It's from the movie Jailhouse Rock, one of his better movies. This is a colorized version. The movie was in Black&White. I can recommend the movie, it's pretty good.
Yep. It did sound similar to Don t Be Cruel. Elvis always looked like he was having alot of fun. Always wore his sense of humor on his face. That was part of ( besides his talent ) what made him great.
THIS is the real Elvis, the one that changed it all. This was before he went in the Army. Afterwards, he became much more docile and the blasted Coronel had him making all those goofy movies. But if you wanna know what Elvis was all about, listen to the early, pre 1958 years. Take a listen to "I Got Stung", a short but wild song .Elvis at his best. BTW, Those musicians behind him are his actual band .Scotty Moore, guitar, Bill Black, bass and D J Fontana, drums .
Great to see you doing an Elvis reaction. The song reminds me of "Teddy Bear." It's amazing that Elvis 'had it all' at such a young age...the song is from the movie Jailhouse Rock which Elvis did in 1957 at 22 years old; imagine being that well put together at that age.
This song from the movie "Jailhouse Rock' introduced a few good songs. Sad tidbit. The young lady sitting to Elvis' left was Judy Tyler, his ove interest in the movie. She died in a car crash just a few weeks after the movie was completed.
Love your pisitive attitude! You should check out his EARLY movie songs. It's like watching him perform! *LOVING YOU -Party-Mean Woman Blues -Lonesome Cowboy *JAILHOUSE ROCK -Don't Leave Me Now -Your So Square *KING CREOLE -Crawfish (begining of movie) -Trouble *GI BLUES -Young Dreams GI Blues (theme song)
Jailhouse Tock has great songs. A really good look at the Elvis Style when he began and the moves and sounds that made him so different and so GREAT ♥️👑♥️
I just Come to your channel for the Elvis videos, your reaction is golden, keep them Elvis videos coming, much appreciated by all Elvis fans. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Jailhouse Rock was actually filmed in black n white. Someone has created a colourised version …. so it was someone else’s idea to make jacket gold, but it wasn’t Elvis’ idea.
Unique, Charismatic, beautiful to look at, perfect vocals no matter what he sang….Elvis just brought his all to everything he did. I’ve been an Elvis fan since I was six, more than 50 years, and I know for a fact that Elvis delivers 💯 percent every single performance. You will never be disappointed ❤
I think that he absolutely nailed New Orleans in that film. I watched it a couple of days ago after buying a blu-ray version and it was like watching it for the first time 👍
@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 if you know a song Elvis wrote then please share.. He was an interpretative singer.. putting his own interpretation into whatever he was singing, but didn't actually write his own material. He didn't have to.
@@TheFarmerfitz I have never ever stated that Elvis wrote a song. What baffles me is where did you get the information that I stated Elvis wrote a song?
Elvis’ movies were pretty bad, but we could not wait for the next one to come out. There were often some great performances like this one. Checkout “Loving You” from the movie of the same name.
I thought his early movies were great. His later romantic comedies I wasn't big on, but I liked Flaming Star and Charro!. King Creole was always my favorite.
The young lady in this picture was killed in a car accident right after filming this movie. It's said Elvis was so upset about it he never watched the movie.
ELVIS the one and only KING!❤He had the whole package! Thank you!
There will never be another Elvis ever, his looks, his moves , his charisma and that gifted voice.
When he arrived on the scene, he was the first that really had it all. It was a big hit but almost everything he sang was a big hit. Elvis came along at the right time when young people were looking for something different. And he sure was different. Thanks for your reaction Harri. 👏👏🥰🇨🇦
He is still the only one that had it all😉
You said it all right there. ''He had it all'' For sure. Thanks Harry. 👍 Ps, love your attire, Cool.
❤❤ awesome
Awesome Elvis! He was the package deal.❤
Love all Elvis music!
He was so awesome...at any age!

Quite simply this guy has no equal and never will have. The King.👑
I giovani che vogliono fare musica dovrebbero studiare questo gigantesco maestro. Elvis il più grande!!
Elvis always the best, beautiful generous soul

Love Elvis! Coincidentally, volunteered at an Elvis festival this weekend. So much fun!
he had it all…
I think this is from his movie Jailhouse Rock. The coolest guy that ever lived. thank you
The KING 💕💕💕💕
This was written by Leiber/Stroller. Don't Be Cruel was Otis Blackwell.
Leiber and Stoller wrote quite a few songs for Elvis like Jailhouse Rock !!
The actress in the studio with Elvis was Judy Tyler. She and her 2nd husband died (him a day or two later at hospital) in a car crash in Wyoming. Elvis thought the world of her and was quite devastated when she died.

So glad I got to see Elvis in concert in 74 or 75.
I saw him in 72 and 74 at Hampton Rds. Virginia. Lucky aren't we.?
Fire 🔥🔥🔥
Could be my favorite by the king...
Aww....love Baby Elvis 😍💯⚡❤️
It's from the movie Jailhouse Rock, one of his better movies. This is a colorized version. The movie was in Black&White. I can recommend the movie, it's pretty good.
This song, Treat Me Nice, was on his first gold album along with Don’t Be Cruel!😊 Great Reaction!!❤
This was from the movie ' Jailhouse rock' and I believe leiber an stoller where the song writers they wrote a lot of those early 50's hit's.
Thank you sooo much for reacting to Elvis music. I always enjoy your reactions. I hope you continue to play his music.🌻⚡️
Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller are the song writers. They also wrote Hound Dog. Otis Blackwell wrote Don't be Cruel.
Great reaction as always. If you still haven’t please listen to *Such A Night* 👍🏼

Elvis never liked to be called “Elvis the pelvis”
Great reaction Harri 👏🏻🥰‼️

Elvis Co -star Judy Tyler Died in an automobile accident shortly after the filming, Elvis was very hurt !!!!!
That was so tragic .. she was really good and had a great future ahead
Reminds me of 'Don't Be Cruel.'
A scene from the 1957 movie Jailhouse Rock. It was filmed in Black and White but later colorized in 1989 by Turner Entertainment
Watched the black and white version the other day. It was on one of the classic movie channels. I actually prefer it to the colorized.
@debrabeck9630 I watched it in the last few years as well. I thought I had seen all his movies growing up but apparently had missed that one.
Always on top of great entertainment Harri. Great choice and reaction as usual. Take care.
I loved those corny movies!! My favorite was Girl Happy. I was lucky enough to see him in concert twice in the 70’s
I think Kissin Cousins was my favorite!! 😂❤😂❤😂❤
@@debibailey2968 Just watched Clambake last week. It’s pretty fun too.
You’re so lucky
Girl happy? What are you thinking woman???

You gotta be DEVOTED to wear the sparkly gold suit to a recording session.

Classes Elvis….. enjoyed the reaction Harri

CHECK OUT CRAWFISH WITH KITTY WHITE FROM KING CREOLE
I think that he absolutely nailed New Orleans in that film.
I watched it a couple of days ago after buying a blu-ray version and it was like watching it for the first time 👍
This is Jail House Rock!
LISTEN to the RECORD version! Much better! He changed it!!!👍
Great to see it in colour - he looks even more gorgeous x
You do a great job. Great reviews.
He looks soooo cool love that
Elvis never wrote songs. He reaarranged some of the lyrics to make it fit him singing, but never completely wrong songs.
really? do you believe in the invisible army too?
@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 if you know a song Elvis wrote then please share.. He was an interpretative singer.. putting his own interpretation into whatever he was singing, but didn't actually write his own material. He didn't have to.

Like many other's fron the same era!
Always reminds me of "Jet Screamer" from the "Jetsons"
"Eep Opp Ork Ahh Ahh!"
😅😅
Hep a heppy...the Jordinaires
From the legendary Jailhouse Rock movie.
ELVIS WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING!!!

Love that song
The black and white version looks better. A lot more detail. There's an AI color version that, dare I say, looks great!
Μοναδικός ❤
Sorry man ...elvis not joke sorry ...he is mazing artiste ❤❤❤
Harri is such a cuuutie.❤
His costar the woman died in a car crash right after this film came out.
The young lady in this picture was killed in a car accident right after filming this movie. It's said Elvis was so upset about it he never watched the movie.
One thing I don't like about some of the old things that have been colorized. They make Elvis' eyes look brown when he had beautiful BLUE eyes.
Gt
That's not the original version
This is so much better in original b&w . Adding color afterwards .. not my cup ogf tea. Especially his hair looks awful
