Yes. When I filed for divorce. My ex abandoned me and I had to start my life over again. He didn’t think I’d ever divorce him 🙄
I picked myself up and dusted myself off. It was hard.
    But I made it ❤

After reading your message, a song came to my head. Just for you. So give it a listen to. I sing it whenever I feel down. Elvis singing. There's a brand new day on the horizon.😊

He did love home and family. Graceland was definitely his private sanctuary. But he always loved having friends over, sharing his beautiful home with them. Beautiful song! One of my favorites.

HIs voice is beautiful. This song is about as "country" Elvis as you can get.

Nice song. Elvis loved his home in Memphis. Always went back there. Elvis was everywhere in the country and traveled for long periods of time. He always was very happy to go back home.

Such a soothing voice that makes us feeling to be back to our home, no matter where it is or what it’s like. You can travel and see the world, but “ there’s no place like home”. 👠👠🥹🥹🥹❤❤

I always enjoyed this song. I like the outtakes as well. This song was on the very first Elvis album I ever purchased less than a year before his death. It's a Top 250-300 Elvis song.

A really nice low key song, his voice is soooo good, he could sing anything and it would be enjoyable. Given the right material theres no end, to what he could do with a song.

Now those are facts for sure. You give Elvis even a half way decent song and he will take it to the moon.

    Beautiful song!! 😍 💗 👌 🔥, J.D. Sumner knew Elvis since Elvis was 14!

I always thought this would have fit in well on the album Elvis “Country”. It was the b-side to Burning Love. (I bought that picture sleeve 45 single).
You will really begin to appreciate the Stamps Quartet & J.D. Sumner, the more you hear them. Elvis met J.D. as a teenager at Stamp’s concerts and they kept in touch. Some of his band members (like Tony Brown, keyboards) had also been members of the Stamps at one time. Of course Tony B. went on to become probably the most successful Country producer of all time.

I agree with you on this one. It's beautifully sung but, for me, just lacks that Elvis punch.
To familiarize yourself with J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, maybe you could react to a live concert performance where they sing without Elvis. As they're singing, you'll see how much Elvis enjoyed their voices through his facial expressions.

Agree with your ranking Seph, although I always enjoy listening to it being to me country and slightly folksy in feel. Railways, cars, drink and women were staple diets of old country singers, and in this case travelling by train.

Many people think elvis faked his death to get away from the life that was killing him from the inside out and wanted to get back to health and be a normal person there are some eyebrow raisers surrounding his death like his freinds and priscilla occasionally talking about elvis in the present tense decades after his death , also the photo of him in the coffin isn't close to the elvis of the late 70s it was a 1950s elvis with a different shaped nose some say it was a wax figure wouldn't suprise me , react to how great thou art by pastor bob joyce people say he's elvis I doubt he is sometimes but millions of people think he is but he has many similarities shared with elvis like the voice , 2 broken pinkies , same height , same cheekbones its very interesting because in his sermons he talks about his past life before he became a preacher he once said in a sermon there was a 3-4yr period of his life where he was dying and couldn't go anywhere , he makes many elvis refrences it would be interesting to see your reaction to him

I saw him in the casket. It was definitely Elvis. All of this nonsense is tiring and ridiculous. Bob Joyce is NOT Elvis.

What happened to my reply? I said that I saw Elvis in his casket and it was not a wax figure, it was Elvis. Also, there is no way that Bob Joyce is Elvis.
