- This is part 2 of best of surf..this time around its all linears though.
In surf, I have completed around 180 maps out of 338 on 66 tick and 200+ on 100 tick. I have achieved exceptional rank as of this week. AS such I will be playing destiny for a while so this may be my last video for a while. This video is a compilation of many of the best examples of good linear surf maps I could think of and have come across in Counter Strike. I hope that you guys enjoy it!

I don't understand the "surfing" but it's very pleasing to the eye and these maps are gorgeous.
surfing is the thing you see the player doing. it involves the player moving against the side of the ramp and gaining speed

Meanwhile I'm struggling with tier 2 maps. Huge props to map creators, that's impressive work.
The video felt like 5 mins.. Everything about it is beautiful, that soundtrack choice is one of the best :) The creativity in these maps amazes me as always.
Damn, very nostalgic. I'm looking back on this thinking about how when it came out I was in awe that these maps were even possible XD I wonder how much the improvement on these maps is when comparing WRs from back then and now... Current skill level is sooo much higher now than when I stopped :) Glad the community is still alive

I know this is late but u can bind +Right to a key and it will spin for u
You cannot use it to turn all the time.Also got them binded,but per a linear map i use them 2-3 times,when my mousepad is not enough for me to make a perfect turn

When, you know well how to surf in details you can see that here the details are really well done. I mean sometime i try to be the "less bad" possible when it is hard but YOU are doing it well all the time even in the lower details. We could nearly say it is done with ense of art

A lot of these maps looks decently difficult maybe tier 3+ so i was suprised when you included tron. nice vid tho
the jump from minute 2:55 to 3:10 gave me an existencial crisis
I can't imagine the amount of frustration endured. The ramp glitches, people joining lobbies and lagging players, the amount of ramps barely missed, the accidental and pixel resets... all for the perfect run. These dudes are incredible
Appreciate the comment but this comp is far from perfect runs. I have since gone on to 100% everything in surf 85 tick in my latest css best of surf 8. Check that one out it has the hardest things to exist in surf (non Unit surf)

important question here, what do you use to record.. im very curious cause i want to make surf videos but the video gets fuzzy at times
I I just use shadowplay recording demos recorded locally played back at .3 speed. Speed up in vegas 3x = butter smooth framerate. Render to sony AVC 1920x1080 - 60i - 60fps.

ive been surfing for a little while now and have heard about certain binds or scripts that people use. can these be beat without them? what are the special binds people are talking about?
+ericsbuds bind "KEY" "+left", and + right. they turn on push of a button so you dont have to move the mouse all that way. Ojnly useful for spins. Yes they can but its difficult.
