- These are some of the best examples of linear surf maps that I have come across in a little over a year and a half of surf.
Part 4:Linears 2. Mixed tickrates to make recording easier. I have completed all of these maps on 66 tick however.

Personally, I'm in love with your compilations, Vartazian360. I noticed that it's so easy to just lose myself while watching these people do their surfing map- it's just so mesmerizing and calm. Your music choice fits very nicely with the compilations as well. Definitely subbing and I hope to see more of these compilations soon!
As someone who casually plays tier 1/2 surf to relax, all of this looks so hard to me to do myself. But to watch it with the music is relaxing as hell. Thanks for the videos bro, keep up the good work.

wish I could surf that good... I dunno how the guys who make these maps actually expect people to beat them... and yet there are crazy good surfers who do it easy
It's funny when i started doing CodJumper i usually checked YT and randomly found your channel and i liked it for what it was and then later one when i got into surfing i did the exact same thing this time comming across your channel once again to find out you're now surfing iam not sure what that means but it's a pretty cool coincidence enjoying your content to this day :)
+SL7 Thanks m8 :) I quit Codjumper for Surf about 2.5 years ago after seeing it was dying, I was getting bored with all the maps and the new style of map being harder= better mentality. So I started surf. Now I have done 354/372 maps on css 66 tick :) Check out best of surf 5 - its much better than this one imo Thanks m8 I appreciate it. Sub for upcoming surf vids :D

Surf_symbiosis is such an underrated map imo. I love it but I rarely see people play it. It´s fun and well made.

I can do majority of tier 3 and thought of my self as good, but this is next level. Hate that fake difficulty on almost every map where they make parts of map dark so you can barely see ramps. As soon as i see that i just quit playing it.

ye i dont know how to get enough speed. i do all the ramps smoothly, have a good start and end with a 48 D: i dont really get how they get 34 as top
there are many tricks to surf you learn over time. im guessing your flicking higher than needed to get to the next ramps, not being perfectly smooth, or not cutting corners close enough. it all adds up, especially at the beginning of the map. The gap increases further over time, so you need to get a very good start at the beginning with a proper strafe and route.

How long does it take on average to create such maps?
1-3 months and then 2 months for bugs, texturing and play testing
i want surf in singleplay. not in server.

옥토끼 in console you can type 'map surf_(name) and then once you are in the server you can set airaccelerate and stuff

How long did you practice?
+fng_optic i think he used "saveloc" on hardmaps its something you can practice with it saves your position in air and you can save that spot and if you fail you can teleport your self to that spot where u saved (speed saved aswell), and if they got the practice they go for the oneshot run
+Peter harz correct. at least with linear maps, i always practice each section till i can do it 3 or 4x in a row and then land the end 5x in a row. if i do that i then try to oneshot the map

I don't really see the skill in just completing these maps on 100tick, was a nice showcase on how to finish them though.
Some were 66 tick. But its more of just an entertaining video for people yo watch and see some nice maps in the game

you could improve quality if you used srcdemo2 look it up, it's a bit complicated but worth it.
methepeoplebmx ive tried before and it didnt work. The. Video was stuttery and the amount of space it took up was not reasonable for the length of this video

I feel i am a good surfer until i watch this. I do from tier 1 to 3 and i struggle on 3 but you do like from 4 to 6 in 66 tick aparently and you just beat everymap.. Shit I would be proud and would ask earn money for it. Can u actually go pro surfing? Like tournament?
+Rui Nunes no but u can do some world records on ksf surf server many surfing clans or teams are playing on it beating the shit out of the world records and they are damn good :d
