Just started the video (and hoping he notices and fixes it), but it bothers me that the rear wheels on the new paver are crooked (the left on is one block forward of the right one). PLEASE Kanajashi, straighten it out!!
the "lighthouse" could also just be a "lighthouse" for space ships ;D big signal tower edit: every port needs some lighthouses and beacons so the ships wont crash against the coast when its dark and stormy
OMG, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's still experience this issue after the hotfixl. I'm on a 3700x with an rtx 2070, and was thinking "holy crap Space Engineers, how many resources do you need?", I dialed it back from 1440 to 1080p thinking that might have had something to do with it, but no luck. And I can't figure out what triggers it. Hopefully a patch that addresses it for real comes soon.
You could extend the landing platforms at the base of the tower over the edge of the base-frame (make them look more like helicopter pads). Of course, that might mean you'd need to move the connectors underneath further out towards the corners of the base-frame too.
@Kanajashi just curious, but why don’t you stream these games when you play them? Personally I (and I think a good few others) would probably enjoy the live streams...
@@Anon_Ymous Doubtful, as i dont use that mod :( it might be more basic then that though maybe it comes from how the new update loads or runs all mods. I would be curious to know if someone who plays without mods is having problems.
A lot of your stutters are probably coming from the Nanobots, I have found that in several servers (private), if we had more than a few (2-3-4) Build and Repairs stutters started appearing, and intensifying the more we added them. Just saying that this could be one of your main factors be.
My space elevator is up to 3km inchworming it's way, and it failed to weld everything and the platform went crashing down. It seems like when the hiccups happen,the timer blocks keep counting, so as I go I have to add a little more time to the welding timer so it finishes the merge block or it ooppses.
I love your video's man you have a great voice too so chill to watch. I've sat and watched both seasons of this back to back. I've watched you all day everyday for a week.
Build and repair has always made my game a bit unstable and freeze occasionally (especially when there are a lot of them). But the game has been freezing lately even in vanilla.
SE itself still leaks memory... ive had core game with no mods try to hang onto 2 to 4 GB ram after game shutdown... even before frostbite.... of course i blame half of it on having to switch to windows 10...
The reason I say that is the result of a test I did. My game kept locking up with the build and repair mod running and I checked task manager and saw that the game was pegged at 96% memory usage
I also start to experience freezing after update, it still freezing and drives me crazy, game start at using %15-20 of my cpu and around %35 when build and repair on work, after 30 min it starts to use %50 after an hour it is using %95 of my cpu and 12gb ram and 6gb VRAM, than i close the game and open it and same cycle, i have to restart the game every 45-60 min, and it also micro freezing between and if i dont restart the game it crashes anyway.

base is coming along really well! You gotta go through and replace as many junctions as you can though, that will help with the clipping.

This is why I don't like the C# language for games, garbage collection interrupts everything. Just a hunch.

There's a hotfix which does indeed fix the micro-stuttering and lag spike. A very welcome change =;).
These videos are great for passing time and learning more about the game.

How are you adjusting the blueprints and in space? i've always had to open the menu move it a bit close it and check what have i been doing wrong?

You know you can reduce the sound of the build and repair, Drill and fill from their config files. Then you do not have to do it everytime
