We have a small professional regional theater in my city, and I go to most of the random various showtune "concerts." I've seen this one guy 3 or 4 times joke about leaving him a drink on the stage during intermission, so I did that. Apparently, nobody has actually done it before and it was worth $8-10 or whatever to ruin the first song back as nobody could keep a straight face as he danced around serenading a margarita.
I can practically Guarantee it was a line flub 😂 Alex knows certain parts where he’ll change things I can tell you that section of the song is never ad libbed. (Especially with a song you have to say the lyrics 💯in between you can ad libbed but you have to do the lyrics when the line comes) it’s just a genuine brain fart moment where your mind totally blanks sometimes (even when you’ve had it down to a tea) that is perfectly normal and has happened to a lot of actors.
I had a Q&A with alex in Ny and I asked him how does he keep the shows fresh and he says he'll change the line every show for two different roles ( the Knight of ni and the french taunter)
OK, but why does it still fit so well. Like this man literally forgot his lines and yet it fits his character so well. Especially for this song that already has so much chaotic energy going on during it that this is immaculate. I love it so much.😂😂😂
