Hello Jarret we met on our Visa Run and I just want to tell you I really like your videos they are very useful but mostly up to date thank you for sharing
I won’t share where I live exactly for privacy but there are thousands of the same 3-5 story vertical buildings here. Get a normal Airbnb for like a week when you come here and then while you’re here then you shop around and drive around in different areas and you can find tons of places from 250 to 600 per month.
Can you visit a grocery store Jarrett? Is there anything like Lotus in Thailand? Those grocery stores look very nice. I would also love to see more 1 and 2 bedroom apartments if you're allowed to visit and record. Thx again!
Pros and cons to both. SEAsia is definitely more clean, safe and cheaper. I prefer Brazilian women though. Visit them all and choose. I prefer to slow travel many months in many locations so I can experience them all for a few months each. Cheapest to stay in one region also. To fly all around Southeast Asia is dirt cheap, but to fly here from Brazil was $1300. So hit many countries in the same continent area to save cash.
Yes you will hear that all over the city. There is construction next door and foam ear plugs are amazing for killing any noise. You’ll sleep like a champ.
I don’t know anything about electric ⚡️ but they are popular here. Normally the ones I see are small though. I don’t remember seeing any electric in the mountains.
I doubt it. I drink bottled water by the case and they also have the large 5 gallon water jugs here. There’s a on pharmacies here on every street so I don’t think it will be a problem at all for distilled.
@blackbirdbeatle you can't have a legal driving license as a foreigner in Vietnam on tourist visa. Therefore you will be driving illegally. No insurance will cover illegal driving. But please prove me wrong.
@@skjoennemand bro you are right. I asked ChatGPT lol. Even with an international driver license it’s not legal in Vietnam wtf. Thanks for letting us know
What about health care and health insurance …. As I understand if you have travel insurance when you have an accident or sickness they are quickly fly you back to your country and the insurance is end there. I’m not sure about long term stay in VN health insurance , is VN health insurance only for Vietnamese or do cover for foreigners ? I’m Australian by the way and thinking retired in Da Nang .
I bought the most expensive Cigna International health insurance plan. It works everywhere but the U.S.. Travel insurance is just a supplemental policy it’s not real health insurance. My policy has an unlimited dollar amount of protection. Get real health insurance that covers you for millions.
I’m not sure about VN. I paid cash for 2 procedures for my girlfriend at Vinmec hospital and it was only $450 including anesthesia and everything. Very inexpensive here.
@JarrettHolmes your sick ! 😱😂🥳 Though a little young to need those. Do you ever check what's actually in them ? Just saying, though I didn't use rubbers for years 😁🙄😉.😮 LoL, but now, they make me ! 😢
Thanks for the quick,no bs, rundown ! Enjoy your Ride !🥳😎
My pleasure!
Thank you for sharing this helpful information. I will be in the area very soon as well.
You’re welcome. You will love Da Nang! 🇻🇳

Can you share the Airbnb you're renting? Washer, dryer, and "quiet" sounds great.

Nice vid, Bro! Which one is better for living and retirement, Da Nang vietnam or Brazil?

@JarrettHolmes Thank you for your reply, You are so kind.
good one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

Super quiet? Isn't there construction anywhere? Do the street vendors still shout "ban bao" at all hours of the night?
Yes you will hear that all over the city. There is construction next door and foam ear plugs are amazing for killing any noise. You’ll sleep like a champ.
😮😅😊👍🤷😎@@JarrettHolmes
Is this the actual weather now or was that shot earlier? I wonder if there is point to come or is it cloudy and rainy now?
It’s now but still plenty of sunshine ☀️
What do you think about a good electric mountain bike opposed to a scooter?
I don’t know anything about electric ⚡️ but they are popular here. Normally the ones I see are small though. I don’t remember seeing any electric in the mountains.
is it hard to find distilled water in Da Nang for my CPAP?
I doubt it. I drink bottled water by the case and they also have the large 5 gallon water jugs here. There’s a on pharmacies here on every street so I don’t think it will be a problem at all for distilled.
@JarrettHolmes Thank you
You are recommending a 150 cc scooter. Just be aware you are not driving legal then and your insurance won't cover you if you run into an accident.
What do you mean? I searched this and found nothing.
@blackbirdbeatle you can't have a legal driving license as a foreigner in Vietnam on tourist visa. Therefore you will be driving illegally. No insurance will cover illegal driving. But please prove me wrong.
Good to know

Yeah it’s illegal so carry cash to payoff law enforcement. That’s what everyone does

Hee hee. I'm in touch with Hana. She said she told you about me.
Yes, she is great. Enjoy Seaview, maybe I'll see you there.
Hello, Hana here :p. Thank you so much guys! :)
Looks quiet now, wet season I guess.
Its raining often but still lots of sun
💛
The price at the "beach club" is for a shower, not for the entrance 😉
That makes sense. I’m pretty sure they are all free to enter.
Love your videos Jarrett, Da Nang looks amazing.
What do you do for a living and income mate?
Thank you 🙏. I have an SEO and web design Agency.
Tell me you didn't drink that Monster and Doritos with so much better food and drink...
Yes, I enjoyed it 😎

Is an idiot 😂
Hard to stop them at this point. I drink 3-4 per week so not that bad. Sugar free.
@@JarrettHolmessugar free is worse, stick to the bad you know, it's all bad, but at least you know what you're getting, seriously.
