Creekside Theatre Fest Presents: School of Rock

Announcing the Cast for School of Rock-
The cast of School of Rock the Musical will be led by local favorites Kristian Huff as Dewey Finn and Tiffany Winkel Nutter as Rosalie Mullins. Kristian has a BFA from BYU in MDT where he played Jack in Into the Woods and has recently been seen as Guy in Once at Hale and Professor Harold HIll in The Music Man at the Playmill Theatre. Kristian can also be seen as Edgar in this year’s production of King Lear. Tiffany has been seen in many local shows including as the narrator in Joseph, Anni in Annie Get your Gun, Kathrine in Freaky Friday and Eve in Children of Eden. Tiffany has also spent time playing the Bride of Frankenstein in a hit Rock and Roll show at Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan.
Ned Schneebly and his girlfriend Patty will be played by Ethan Porter and Avery Peterson- who can also be seen in King Lear this season. This is Ethan’s second season with Creekside where he was previously seen as Peter in Romeo and Juliet. Avery joins the company with an acting degree from Southern Utah University where she played Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Avery was recently seen as a company member of the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival in Romeo and Juliet, Emma the Musical and The Greenshow.
The roles of Tommy, Summer, Lawrence, Katie, Freddie, Zach and Billy will be played by an extremely talented group of young actors- Tyson Russel, Libby Gardner, Isabelle Jaynes, Cecily Nuter, Caleb Hall, Alex Clark and Andrew Laudie. With the exception of Libby, this is marks the Creekside debut for all of these young actors. Tyson is a talented 5th grader with a slew of credits already including shows at Hale, Pioneer Theatre Company and recently as JoJo in Seussical at the Off Broadway Theater in Draper. Libby was previously seen at Creekside as Winnie Foster in the Critically acclaimed production of Tuck Everlasting in 2022. She attends American Fork High School and has performed in many roles- including as Hortensia in Matilda, Little Fan and Belinda in A Christmas Carol and Brigitta in The Sound of Music all at the Hale Theatre in Orem. Isabelle Jaynes, a 7th grader, loves to dance and perform and has spent the last couple of years training with The Dance Conservatory and Cedar Hills Youth Theatre where she recently played Peach in Finding Nemo Jr. Cecily (CC) is excited to join the Creekside for the first time! She has performed on stage her entire life and has enjoyed training at Utah COPA. Favorite roles include Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Laertes in Hamlet and James in James and the Giant Peach. Caleb, a Freshman at Liahona Preparatory Academy is relatively new to the theatre scene and is excited to get to incorporate his talents as a drummer on the stage. Caleb recently has been seen as Romeo in Newsies and Mal Beineke in The Addams Family. Alex, a student at Maple Mountain High-School has a lot of experience training and performing with Caleb Chapman and Utah COPA and is excited to be able to play guitar on stage again. Lastly, Andrew Laudie, a 10 year old, has been performing all over the state for the past 5 years including as Randy in A Christmas Story at Draper Historic Theater, Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol for both Hales in Orem and Sandy and as and an Oompa Loompa at Scera. Andrew trains with Utah COPA.
The rest of the insanely talented cast is made up of performers with literally hundreds of Professional, Semi-Professional and Community theatre credits and includes Katira Davis as Marcy, Elsa Parry as Shonelle, Zoe Christensen as Mason, Clark Heinrich as James, Serenna Ihrig as Sophie, Daphne Nutter as Madison, Jake Oaklyn as Theo and other role, Aaron Jaynes as Snake and other roles, Ziggy Watene as Doug and other roles, Dave Nutter as Bob and other roles, Eliza Stevenson as Ms. Gordon and other roles, Derek Clark as Mr. Sandford and other roles, Alaina Hall as Ms. Bingham and other roles, Sarah Wilkins as Ms. Woodward and other roles, Amber Heinrich as Ms. Sheinkopf and other roles and Tiffany Tanner as Ms. Macapugay and other roles.
