  • So it's been ages since I last uploaded a video...it' not because I haven't been doing anything on the van - I've actually been really busy as you'll see in this video.
So for those that are new to the Channel, I'm converting a Long wheel base (L3H2) Fiat ducato (essentially the same as a Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Relay and Ram Promaster) panel van into my very own camper.
So it's not quite finished yet - so no, I'm not quite ready for the 'van tour' just yet but I'm certainly getting pretty close.
In this video I cover various things as follows with links for the products that I've used in case you want to use the same in your van:
    Flip Up Seat:
    www.vanbitz.co...
Steel Plate & High Tensile Bolts (Note you will need to order 2 of these sets, one for each side):
    www.vanbitz.co...
Wooden Tambour Door (Note it's constructed of MDF with a Cherry veneer):
    www.tambourline...
You can't order directly off the website so will need to email or phone for a quote
    External Shower:
    www.johnscross...
The tablesaw that I mentioned in the video and for £100 you cant really go wrong!:
    www.screwfix.c...
    The flush crank hinges:

    Thanks for Watching!

Great videos and learned a lot. I’m building my ram now. Have you noticed a lot of road dirt accumulating in the bottoms of the wall cavity. Down in the rocker panel area. Was wondering if I should remove and seal up the vents that are in the rear of van. I guess they vent and allow the doors to close easily. Thanks for all the informative videos.

Hi, thanks for the nice comment! When I stripped out the van I did notice that it was pretty dirty in there and I know that others (check out MEVI's channel) investigated further and potentially sealed it up. I left it as is. (You don't see the dirt once everything is built 😏🤷‍♂️)
