Two things.. fitness requirements needs to be mandatory. They introduce guns into the situation very early because they can't handle themselves. Second cities need to pay for hand to hand combat training at least monthly..
I wanted to be a cop when I was a teen (not anymore), took some after school class taught by this retired NYPD cop. This was 10 years ago and he was retired at that point but he always stressed he used a nightstick when he needed to get up close. He sounds like trained his whole life to withstand that taser
I'm 6'3 and 230 pds and when I was tased once it did almost nothing to me.
@@bob13513 These tasers have different settings, they are adjustable. If it's just about getting a control of some violent drunk, it is unlikely that trained shooter will use max setting on the think. Many models can also be used without shooting the electrodes, typically sharp needles are under a cover to not get contaminated by environmental debris. I've been voluntarily receiving these shocks few times and know how they feel, from mild setting to harder setting, but never the max. It's unpleasant but doesn't drop me, altough I lose control while the shock is ongoing. In some countries these tasers are ranked as deadly weapons, because in some cases they may drop someone and make them hit their head fatally or injure brain bad as a result, or even cause cardiac arrest to some individuals.

NGL why all this cops seems to have a big belly - thought they need to be fit to work? am i wrong?
they may be fit at the start of their career but i dont think they care after a while
Being a cop can be physically challenging. Just like the military, only less intense, after so many years the body starts to go. They get transferred to lighter duty and start gaining weight like the majority of people who get older.
@@v3nom11065 "After so many years the body starts to go" ???? wtf are you on about ??? being fat is being fat. It's from living an unhealthy life or from medication. The body don't just give in after a certain age and make you fat. That's just if you continue to drink alcohol, eat candy, drink milk, eat bread and all of those things that makes you fat. It's your metabolism that goes down. With age you literally just have to eat less. That's how it is.
No, they need to be fit sothey can be bigger than caseoh

8:46 how wasnt that attempted murder? he said he was gonna kill the officer, then proceeded to reach for his gun. seems like attempted murder to me
dude was actively trying to strangle him out. that's attempted murder wtf.
And the fact that he got 10 years in jail
The female officer fell and passed out, what a disgrace 😂😅
All these cops deserve to die
The first guy should’ve never been put in that situation. These are PUBLIC SERVANTS and a distressed citizen came to the police department asking for help and instead was ridiculed and provoked by an egotistical, unstable cop.

Him getting attempted murder for defending himself is crazy work
varies via context, a lot of what he did was unnecessary and escalated things, which is the governing problem@@c1lucky
@@c1luckyit absolutely is. He surely was behaving weird but so was the officer and the officer was the one pulling tazer and gun

6:31 dude. That dodge was EPIC
Yeah his reflexes were really good there.
Yeah a good habitude to have as a cop is to always make the suspect groggy before arresting him
@henriresbert110 what? how would he have made the dude groggy without needlessly escalating things and getting in trouble
