Could beat this game with my cousin growing up. Been playing through with my son. You're good, we can't keep Rocksteady cornered like you or get those 1 hit kills repeatedly.
Oh my god, the rat dude in the leather jacket in the snow level. Jump kicking him till he was dead was how me and my brother did it when we were like 7 and 6 used to do it all the time lmao
Not to rag, Angry Video Game Nerd style, on such an AWESOME game! But: What *IS* the purpose of kidnapping April, *Aside from the Fact* she reports/warns the world on Shredder's and Krang's evil?!?!? Also, I love - Not that it's necessary - how unless you play 2 Player, it shows the Logo. Yeah, like the sprites of Humanoid Turtles carrying Ninja weapons, and smashing the heck out of robots, isn't a *DEAD* Giveaway!!!
Because Hamato Yoshi (Splinter) is the archenemy of Oroku Saki (Shredder), and trainer/father figure of the turtles. Shredder knows April is close to the turtles, so abducting her will force the turtles/Splinter to confront him.
Nice run. I'm still learning to stunlock Rocksteady. =d Only succeed like 10% of the time. Do you position your turtle at the right pixel by carefully looking at the shadow?
Frank yeah, that one is tough. I try to set myself up in a good spot early and then I look at the shadow when moving in to attack. Seems like the position can change though, I get it maybe 50% of the time.
@@shr00mhead late answer.. Yep. I play on nes, use the center of d pad and move lower of screen. That mean we can free hit normal mobd. It a trick for newbie because when im an adult i can kill normal mob without this trick easily
The 4 player arcade version at Pizza Hut and arcades took A LOT of my lunch money from me back in my day.

Its on tmtn 3, not 2. In 2, we can use this move without anyharm( but slower than normal hit!)

It was very difficult, but I could beat it with my brother. This game is insanely hard.

I remember I used to try and catch Rocksteady right on the face with my sword to trap him.
I use to do it only with raphael with the regular attack move. I was 8 at the time lol
Back in my time, i hold the center of moving buttonnto move over the screen. So i can free hit normal mob without any hurt..
