This is a brilliant idea. Having the repair shop on the road. So many artist working there, but not all the people can bring t heir treasures to be renewed. Great job, folks.
This just popped up i. My feed. I've been watching The Repair Shop for years now. I keep going back through the seasons and rewatching them. I love this program. This new "on the road" show is going to be great, I'm so excited.
I thought the original The Repair Shop could not be improved upon. What a fantastic concept and so true to their mission to strengthen artisan crafts...Thank you for sharing..
A perfect idea to have Dom and Will travel to observe and learn more about professionals of restorations do. The Scottish highlands, what a trip to make. Thanks so much for taking us along.
Thank you narrator for saying "inarguably" instead of "arguably"! I always cringe when I hear it the wrong way because it implies there's an argument about what one is talking about. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. This is a very different way of continuing The Repair Shop, but I do like it.
So many treasures. I've been watching for at least five years, so many great restorations. i want this to go on forever. This game reminds me of our Native American game of lacrosse, something many college teams have taken up with great skill.
I think Dom was a brilliant host of this episode, let's see him far more often in such a role. And it was lovely meet a new bloke Rich - he is a lovely addition. Many thanks.
WOOHOO!!!! Absolutely gorgeous countryside. I have a Polish grandfather (Dad's side) and a Scottish grandmother (Mom's side) heritage. I never knew of Nairn during WW II. My Mexican daughter's name is Nairin. WOW Small world isn't it? Experts are always a joy to watch and learn from. This channel is awesome, Thanks for resurrecting the channel. Stanley tools are everywhere. viewed in San Diego, California USA
Another Canadian here. I wonder if this '... on the Road' series is available on the Makeful Channel where previous Repair Shop episodes are aired. Love this new version for 2025 🥰
@@girlnorthof60 I don't see it on their programme guide; but I did e-mail to ask if they plan to bring it. Love all the UK shows they have. Do you know, is Makeful available Canada-wide? I'm near Vancouver BC. Most people I mention it to have never heard of Makeful.
@ I'm in the Yukon & have had Makeful for a few years. My Mum in NS had to request it, trading about 10 sports channels for 1, but she got it. Their fill-in shows are 2 game shows, but it's packed with great UK content... my fav channel on TV.
Oh, this is just wonderful. I really didn't want to see The Repair Shop canceled, and this is just a fantastic way to keep it alive. It was so fascinating to watch the stone mason removing those pretty paintings from the main wall. I was on pins and needles waiting to see what the flowers were going to look like once he took the board off. What an awesome job that was. Though my favorite had to be the little ship riding the waves in that dome glass (for lack of a better word) bottle thing. That just came out jaw-droppingly amazing. Great job to the team as always. I'm so glad my favorite show is going to continue. Now, to find episode 1. Hello from Lodi, California.
I’m a complete viewer here in Hawaii. Having been a “ fix it or break it “ guy my whole life, I learn with admiration and wish a had some of their products they use. I wonder how many items can’t be fixed perfectly or something happens when risk is involved. I can feel the stress in many items !
What a great added series to the Repair Shop family. More please. Anyone else begin to ponder the similarities of the stick game with that of the stick game in America now called La Crosse?
Shinty Looks like girls field hockey when I was in elementary school 11 or 12 yrs old in 1967 It was brutal The thing happened was you got whacked on the shins and tripped up There was a ball I don’t remember what it was made of but probably 4” round This is a great channel B. First time I've seen this version of TRS on the road and I really like it! It was nice to see other places outside the barn where items come from and see the interactions. One thing I wish David would have done on that ship. It may not bother anyone but me, but I can't stand the fact that the flags on the little ship are going backwards.... they should be going the same direction that the wind is blowing the sails which would be forward. I wish David would have adjusted them but I understand him keeping the ship original. :^/ Oh, well, it only bothers people like me that have built model ships I guess.
There's some very strange winds blowing in Scotland or the flags at the top of the mast have been put on the wrong way round. David's not a sailor, I thnk. Lovely programme.
How often will the episodes come out? Love the shows and all the people involved with the repair shop. Only thing missing is Jay Blades. Huge hugs from Idaho USA.
This series needs to continue, for sure.

Thank you for sharing this! I can't find what "huckery-wood" is from ... Does anybody know what tree it is from? Thanks from Holland ❤
Happy to help out, the wood is hickory, from the hickory tree.
💯
When did this series start
Looks like field hockey sticks in US.
