Hello, over the years i experimented with lots of apps - notability, goodnotes, apple notes, nebo , muse etc etc. I found Microsoft onenote is the best as per my needs. I will be sticking with this for rest of my life. - It has a infinite canvas for detailed research study. - It supports apple pencil for infinite handwritten notes - Integrates well with outlook meetings. - Also syncs well with all my devices.
OneNote on the iPad is great for taking notes in meetings or for setting a drawing as a page’s background image, for marking up when I’m visiting a site. However, it’s about time Microsoft made it possible to customise tags, or at least to use the custom tags I’ve set up on my desktop version of OneNote - who needs the useless example tags like “Project A” and “Project B”? My custom tags are pretty much essential to my workflow.
Audio syncing is the reason why I prefer to use oneone in windows. Android/Apple onenote are very limited. I wish they would carry on these features to different OS.
@@PaperlessX The same could be said for other note taking apps, like Goodnotes. Notebooks created in IOS systems will not sync to Windows systems. Some IOS notetakeing apps do not even support Windows.
I don't think they care about that, word is a serious word processor not a note taking app. I’d wager excel is probably not valuable to them too. Plus they’re trying to integrate apps more and more so crossover seems welcomed.
Hello, may I ask have you faced any kind of palm rejection issue when using the ipad? Cause mine personally I did have a lot of issues in this…btw this is on iPadOS 17.7
Are you able to share your OneNote notebooks from an iPad Apple device to a Dell device at work we use Dell products at home. I use Apple and I’d like to take notes on my iPad in one note and be able to sync it with my work, OneNote. Do you think that’s possible?
@@PaperlessX my free onenote version on ipad doesn‘t have a ruler.. but I heard the paid version has that so I was wondering if it also has more minor tools upgrades 😅
I use onenote on windows OS, which lets me fullscreen to the entire screen as the note-taking page. In your video, it seems that even after full-screen, the top two bars remain present horizontally, taking up crucial amount of horizontal page space in an ipad, leading to more frequent scrolling in landscape mode. Can't onenote go FULL FULL-SCREEN on ipads?
I wish they would put the tabs back up at the top like they were originally... then I would use it full time again. Great video! 👍

It's great when you find the perfect app, right?
@@PaperlessX Yes 😊 and your video lessons are extermely helpful learning all the apps 🙏. Thanks a ton ❤
This is a rock solid option for everyone and easy to use in the mid term 😊

Right! The tags in OneNote are terrible!
OneNote’s strict hierarchical organization system is its biggest weakness. It needs proper tags with smart folders.
Oddly for me its greatest strength is its web clipper
LOVE ONENOTE!! Im a Samsung guy, so not issue prone on my side of tech. GREAT CHANNEL!!

They should really have that on all devices

20:15 - I've been saying that for years. They don't want ON to move ahead, because it will compete with Word.
:( But they are different apps, which completely different purposes :(
@@PaperlessX
For them nothing can compete with Word. Any hint for competition must be avoided. It’s their main cash cow.

@@endah08 there's no better way to explain how this app remains the same for the past 14 years.

Haven't had any issues with palm rejection, but maybe it's a recent bug.

Yes, OneNote can do that.
A “ Paperless” Onenote for iPad course would be fun!😉
😂 dreading that one
How is the paid version compared to the free version?
It only gives you more storage for OneDrive

They purposefully limit OneNote on the iPad
i love stickers but i dont have that feature on my onenote app, currently using ipad 10th generation. Cant find any help from anywhere😭😭😭😭.
Stickers have been around for a while. Maybe you can try to reinstall the app.
I can add custom fonts. They are at the bottom of the list. On Mac they appear in the "Mac OS X Fonts" section
Thank you!
Non poter personalizzare il modello della pagina è il suo più grosso limite, credo che dovrò cambiare app per prendere appunti organizzati 😥
Thanks for sharing, peace ✌🏻
1:26 - No median between 100Mb & 1Tb. This is where Google is better
Amazing and comprehensive review. My source channel for iPad productivity!

One Note still has no projection mode and no laserpointer. Completly useless to use as a teacher.
Hi, what do you use instead ?
Good notes
