So this is one that may not be of interest to most, but I track my yarn stash in Notes. I created a template, with a table, for inportant info on the yarn. I take a picture of the yarn. I can add the info to another project note, when I start knitting.
I could not get the reminder set for one of my notes. You said to ensure collaboration is not on. -I don’t think it was in but I could not see where it was indication i g that it was on. -it never gave me the send a copy option I goofed somewhere. Thanks for your help
@@CarolynQuinn-r8c once you click the share button it open the share sheet , you have first the name of the note under that there is small box - this the one you should click to choose send a copy. If you still not see this , just use Siri , while you’re in the note you want to send to reminder , say hey Siri set reminder on the time you prefer .

Nice video, but I have other problem with Notes. This is not reliable software. With long handwritten notes they crashes and data are lost. Older iPad Pro was changed to M1 model and same happens.

what I would consider the most valuable creature for Notes app which it does not seem to have. Is leaving adjustable sized notes on your home screen. Common name, for it would be known as a sticky note. It would be the only function I would use if Apple would bother adding it.

I’ve tried it several times. it is not user friendly. Also, i lost all my notes for a year when I tried to turn off icloud. It deleted them all without a backup.

All your notes will saved locally on iPhone but could be at risk When chose the iCloud as default account Never never toggle the sync on or off - once you enabled it . Now all saved on iCloud

He puts effort into making the video (which makes him money) and I put a lot of effort into finding a good youtube video to solve my problems. Giving feedback is not the same as being disrespectful. 50 seconds intro is too long he should either add timestamps for viewers to skip the intro, or do not make an into at all. Check other youtubers adding timestamps. They do show respect for their viewers time.
Apple notes is kinda rubbish when you go across multiple devices for work etc, MacBooks are junk in the automation world and you need windows and Apple closed wall garden doesn’t let you install it on anything but an Apple device. OneNote while not perfects works on everything including apples closed wall garbage…..I mean garden. 😂😂😂
BAD ADVICE. You use APPLE NOTES, you are "S T U C K" with it. Try to export multiple notes from APPLE NOTES, try to work with the documents, like merging documents, or anything like that. Not possible to access the files, like md-files. You can ONLY do, what APPLE allows you to do. It is "ROTTON". Good for simple notes. Very bad to use as a longterm vault. I stay with OBSIDIAN. Just because it's "open" to anything, I want to do with my information later.

Send A Copy doesn't include Reminders as an option. I checked to see if it was hidden, but it's just not allowed unless I use the collaborate function

@@vlad9542 it’s not available on the notes app on all versions Mac,iPad and iPhone , for Mac you might need to use the keynote app.
I had no idea Apple Podcasts had transcription capabilities to save content into Notes. 👍🏻

I had the same thing happen to me when I turned on iCloud. I felt awful.
