What is Sudarshan Kriya?
Sudarshan Kriya is a rhythmic breathing technique that helps relieve stress, regulate emotions and remove toxins from the body. Through the regular practice of Sudarshan Kriya and adopting lifestyle changes, many people around the world are leading stress-free lives while carrying out all their regular responsibilities.
How does Sudarshan Kriya work?
Sudarshan Kriya works by regulating the breath. Your breath is linked with your emotions. When you are angry, you take short breaths. When you are sad, you take long breaths. Just the way your emotions change your breathing cycle, you can change the state of your mind with your breath. Sudarshan Kriya uses different breathing cycles to release negative emotions like stress, anger, anxiety, and sorrow. My mind is so so F.Up that, even I'm watching your video right now but consciously I'm not here, I don't even know how many thoughts are coming to my mind in just a second, because of this I can't even make decisions.

Not necessarily before every meditation. When done - do it on empty stomach.
Ma'am. I dis SKY for last 10 months along with Sahaj Samadhi. But there are no results. I still day dream and my mind still wanders. I still keep thinking of future and get anxious. It may be helpful at some level, but TH-cam comments and videos give such assurances that are not really going to come true for all. I used to spend one and a half hour everyday in complete sadhana. But I'm still the same.

If you have become aware that mind is wandering that means awareness has become more. That is the first change. Using this aware you can start making changes. Check your food habits and sleep as they also impact the mind. If possible go for silence advanced meditation course to take a break

Hi Akanksha, I am suffering from severe anxiety and OCD issues. I have learnt Sudarshan Kriya but I am unable to keep the count 20-40-40 while doing kriya, I always used to miss the count. So I felt bad and left it. Now I want to start doing it again. Can you please give me some suggestions to keep the count. It would be really saviour. Thanks in advance

That’s okay. You can sit in a comfortable position. Either crossed legged or on a chair.
You can do in a relax posture. Join an art of living program for a guide practice.
