I dont think its the point of ppl being mad or not having tough skin. I think ppl should work and build there descendants correctly. Imagine if destiny made the raid less difficult where would the fun come from? Ppl are going into the missions with half built characters thats not my fault. Like you said “baby proof” for ppl isnt a good thing for the game we need some challenges.
Na you aint come at the community your just giving facts out. At the end of the day those invasions weren’t hard ppl just need to have correct builds and try again. They took more time complaining to the devs then working on themselves. Awesome vid tho hopefully someone uses the inversion buffs because they help.
I did fortress and sterile lands invasions today. Got a bronze then a silver on fortress. Felt about right. Sterile lands I got a bronze but didn’t do another run as it was tedious. Get brains, shoot X to lower immunity on boss, shoot shield to damage boss. Do that about three times to finish. There is no way it was ‘easy’. Fully maxed Viessa with a Greg’s almost maxed. We’ll see how those pillars pan out when they next appear. This is seasonal content, the FIRST seasonal content. It shouldn’t be a slog for 95% of the player base.
The game definitely could use difficult content for the people who have no life but typically seasonal content in anygame isnt supposed to be a skill check, its just supposed to be something with a gimmick that you do to supplement your normal routine in the game so people expecting the seasonal stuff to be that endgame difficulty content is actually insane
I'm of two frames of mind. Yes, I think there should be harder content for those who have put the time in. However, seasonal content/missions is not the place to be putting it. Seasonal content should be hard to those who have low investment builds, and have been riding off of others in group content. Mid to lower high tiered investment should not be struggling like most have been, including me. I have been working on my weapon builds since that is where I struggle, but I shouldn't be getting frustrated like I was in what should be something most people should experience. Especially since it is tied to the story, which some players may enjoy and now are missing out because they can not engage with the content.
100% that last part. I'd say put in a Savage mode for those who like it, with slightly higher droprate of loot. Main story stuff should be available to all players though.
"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." It's very easy to say everything is easy when you're OP or have all your characters well built so all your based are covered. Giving everything a co-op option or a 100/150/250% difficulty option could've helped too.
@jimstewart8122 im not op lol and the idea I play this game all the time is false, most people have almost double the amount of time I've put into the game. Again I know I play well and I've mentioned that in previous videos as a factor but ive always have said I can see how people could struggle with the content
developer response has been very good, honestly i log in daily not just to keep catalyst research going 24/7 but because i still am having fun grinding and playing all the time. Develpers making the game better little by little and implementing changes is a very welcome sight in today's landscape... i pray they keep this going for years.
I don’t mind difficult dungeons. I don’t mind nerfing the dungeons. I do mind the unnecessary inconveniences the dungeons presented. Imo the dungeons themselves weren’t so difficult as they were more “troll-ish” for a lack of terms: Exploders destroying a marked spot while you’re hidden on the other side of map, boss with a small timegate to shoot him but has magic tracking bullets that forces you to take cover, upon engaging the boss you realize you spawned into the map with only 1/4 of ammo, all the while watching the timer go up, the tumor-killing gun not taking out all 3 tumors with 1 full round, etc… tldr: I’m glad that they nerfed it tbh. It wasn’t the “difficulty” but the inconveniences that frustrated the hell out of me.
@AlKapo-ee1ey I agree as well. They added small annoyances to slow you down from getting gold. I feel like they should have kept the difficulty as is and only adjusted the annoyances cause it wasn't hard at all, just annoying lol
Let's be honest. A person would pick the wrong bot and kill everyone. That happens twice and the dungeon would be done. It's not a coop setting for the pillars. The platforms require you to stand on it which would mean only one person could reduce the shield. If someone weak does it, it would take forever. The only one that would work for coop is the 30 void pieces. Solo was the way to go. Also you are rewarded for doing it with 1.2 mil gold as a reward.
So they made it easier for the people that can solo, ha a maxed weapons and characters. I can get to the boss fights but I can’t get the shields down fast enough to dps. I feel like if the just made the option for matchmaking or solo it would made it playable for this that can’t solo. But still left in the difficulty
@williampaul9452 I use Thunder cage to beat these before and after the update. If the gun you are using is not working, then you need to invest in it and start maxing out your mods.
Thundercage is my most developed weapon. Was able to tweak my dps listed to about 260K and I still can't deal enough damage to remove the invasion boss shield. It's friggin ridiculous.
I'ma be honest I think once people hit hard mode the first thing they should do is fully build a decent gun and get some decent external components with maxed hp and defense modules that's not very hard and will eliminate most of the struggle people are going through right now if you can't find a good gun easily grab a eternal willpower very easy to obtain very high dmg assault rifle and focus on fully building it I understand it will take a second but to stand a chance against some of these bosses I think fully building a gun is necessary to be one of the first things you do.
Whether anyone finds the invasions easy or not it's pretty obvious all of this was done to pressure people in to buying Hailey, for 3x the price of any other regular descendant at that. There was nothing wrong with how we farmed descendants before, I've farmed every ultimate so I have put some time into that style of farming. Now instead of 4 main bps that you could get quickly or not depending rng we have 1000 small parts that are time gated. I know it's not 1000 but you get my meaning.
This is the best reason to play multiple games at once. All these changes are happening and I haven't tried season 1 yet. Now I get to start with these changes that seem to make the season more enjoyable.

As someone who struggled with the Invasion dungeons, it definitely wasn't that the puzzles were too hard, it was killing the bosses at the end without dying. But I also started the game late and I'm still working my way through building proper descendants and guns, definitely wasn't looking for the nerf on this stuff. It's fine though, it's Season content so the Invasion dungeons were never pitched as super hard content. I will say though a lot of the stuff that got nerfed was just annoying, not super fun parts of the content.
Great content as always!!!! I don’t feel this video was harsh, honestly I respect your opinion. So far, I’ve put 500 hours into the game and I feel that the developers should just make invasion dungeons with difficulty settings or percentages increase like the hard missions. In my opinion, I will say that before the update, I felt that the invasion dungeons were more gear towards bunny builds, especially with the enemy spawns rates, puzzles, and time limits. I use Ultimate Valby and she has 10-12K HP and 52K Def, before the update, I was barely getting by( silver or bronze). Overall, I appreciate the time you put in to make these videos. Thanks again.
As a disabled player that’s color blind this is huge and awesome for us! Now we can continue to play again. I am concern about 2 guns behind season pass but I do like how season 1 free season pass atleast every one can get the gun. Just can’t 4 star it
I would love harder content, but if the version of hard is a stupid timer with overly annoying puzzles, which forces you to fight a clock thats not they to make hard content
Please people, invest in your favorite characters now. Get the builds going, get your weapons built. Im not against the devs making some things easier for players who are struggling, but those people who are struggling need to also invest in being stronger. Theres so many build guides and videos out there that i just dont see the excuse not too.
I still hate Invasions. They are frustrating & not worth the time. The bosses are way too tanky & hit way too hard. I have bout 9k hp & 35k def & still get 1 shot. Not because "get gud". The blue & white shield on the boss look the same still. The boss triggers a shield color that has no line of sight, cause thats great fun. The boss trigger shield color right in front of him, cause thats fun. Were any of you aware you can die by dropping the bosses shield too many times? Cause thats fun. These Invasion are equal to molten colossus. I have Thunder cage fully built x4 copies with 350k dps & it doesn't do anything to the bosses yet they can 1 shot me while I'm forced to stand right in front of them. Cause thats fun. There is something seriously wrong with content when i can solo 99% of everything else but get destroyed in Invasions
Gruncah boss in invasion is still waaay to tanky man... wtf! i can onely dps trough his shield and a tiny little bit of his health. then i need to remove his shield again and again...
I'm happy with the changes. I no longer have to run around collecting 30 brains or do the arche puzzle twice to open a door. Invasions weren't difficult, this makes it faster. Matchmaking would not solve the issue of game mechanics needlessly extending the time to complete.
I really hope that its crazy hard for them. i want to see how their hard work pays off!! ill slowly get there. but to see elite do awesome stuff new builds and team work is so cool! I hate when games become baby easy accessible. I will turn this off as a casual person! i need to feel like progressively getting stronger.
I'm going to wait until they implement multiplayer. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can get to the boss with less issues, but no matter how hard I try, my Ult Gley with 15k health just dies so damn fast from boss shots. Either I play defensively and use cover against the fire ray, but can't get past its shield, or I get 2 shotted playing aggressively and die so damn fast it's crazy. I do agree with your sentiment that there needs to be difficult content for those people who have the time to max out their builds. But Nexon should have implemented a normal mode and a hard mode just like the rest of the content in this game from the start instead of trying to placate both sides and satisfying neither with a single mode.
I don’t have as much time to play the game but I put time into specific things that will help me moving forward I don’t have the most Skill dmg but I can survive regardless who I use but I focus more dmg on my weapons because that DPS is more Consistent

I can beat swamp walker solo on hard so my character is not that low level. i did one where you stand on color pad shooting the boss did not like it and they explained the drone and tumors so badly i did not know what i was looking for, now i really dont care about season 1 and im not looking to farm hailey i know i must be crazy lol , great work man
I've been playing this game since day one, unfortunately i only have about 5-6hrs a week to enjoy playing. Ive unlocked 9 Descendants and half the special weapons and i have not yet cleared one single invasion! 😢 This nerf is so everybody can enjoy the game, and maybe have a chance and unlocking Hailey w/o paying $
With that amount of time tbh that's way more descendants than you need, I've made a video talking about time investment and how that drastically changes progression even with minimal times but accessibility to the unit I'm all for I want the bros to have fun
That just legit means you dont know how to build. My buddy has less time, less descendants, less weapons and still can. Stop making glass cannon builds and following youtubers builds to a T. Build to your playstyle. If you need more survivability, then sacrifice some damage.
They going to cater to the majority, always remember that. If enough people complain and they dont want to lose players. They are going to nerf content. The only thing i feel they wont mess with is nerfs with descendants
Honestly, I have know right to have an opinion on this cause I was hung up on hanged man 😆 getting a group of people that knew what to do is crazy! Tonight I'm trying this new season content, what I have seen and heard it sounds stupid so...besides color blinded people the only thing the Devs needed to fix was co-op , in my opinion!
I believe in gate keeping. However when it's done wrong. It will cripple your player base. More so for a live service game. Adding raid like mechanics solo was a instrumental failure. Most players do not have a fully fleshed out setup. Which means they will not be able to complete the dungeon. Especially when you factor in a timer. They should add an actual raid, that challenges players. Offering unique weapons and gear (hopefully in season two or three). To satisfy the wants and needs of the hardcore players.

I’m not enjoying the invasions, maxed out Valby main 6 Catalyst maxed Nazeistra and I can’t do any damage to some of the dungeon bosses but the rest of the game is still fun enough for me to stick around till 2nd season
I only have a Thunder Cage and I had to work hard and perfect play to get gold. Last night I made mistakes and fell off the map and respawned once and still got gold with 2 minutes to spare. This is easy mode now even in my glass bunny smh. Pub boss fights are the only hard challenge in this game again. I hope that new hard mode content is legit hard.
The monsters are still doing boatloads of damage. I think it’s still difficult content and I wouldn’t be surprised if tons of players still can’t complete the invasions
It's not the people who grind for 20 hours a day who keep these games going it's the casual who spends money so games are always going to cater to them
heres the thing you guys dont seem to understand.....you no lifers are not a majority of the community. You are the minority. Asking for brain dead hp sponges and 50 minute raids is gonna drive off the player base. I mean heck...look whats already happened with the garbo season 1 update. Its unfortunate that these changes came so late because I highly doubt its gonna bring anyone back. People already moved on. On another note, Im not saying challenging content is bad but when you lock certain things behind only that challenging content or introduce bs mechanics, especially in solo play when its meant to be multiplayer, you are gonna have people complaining. I mean you and I may not like it but people are complaining for a reason. So many people already left for a reason. You may sit there and say..."fine let them leave" but if no ones playing the game, itll be dead soon. Its already dying.

i started the invasion dungeons a couple nights ago and i found the difficulty pretty fun and a change of pace from being able to nodiff everything in my path
also the people complaining about the difficulty are probably the same people who go into a molten fortress or gluttony intercept battle with a lvl of less than 30

Its sad that they can't put any challenging content in this game. Its such a great game but people complain so much and this happens. Now its going to be another instant people can just run through. Me personally like having puzzles and other little challenges. Even if that mean changing my build so I am not a glass cannon and need to put on some defense or health.
They shouldn't make some of the weapons so hard to get..If you have an Enduring this is easy..Problem with the game is its damn near impossible to get one

I really just don't care for the mechanics they put into the invasions, and especially the inversions before patch. I also don't care for wipe mechanics in the intercepts. Fun for a while, but I just put it down, and I have an eisimo and enduring legacy that are sitting in the kitchen waiting for me to collect them......Ill probably keep tabs on your vids to see if anything sparks my interest again.

Devs collected data and could see tons of players building in that direction which is why i guess they decided to go the solo route. What we are seeing are readjustment pains within the community. A lot of people weren't prepared for the content at hand simply because their progression was rubber banded. There's a reason i take my time with content and i think about what kinds of players are playing.
@@ZoxLoots It's a ftp game, and every mode or gimmick is made in a way to get you to spend time and money, they even call some items in the shop time-savers. I highly doubt they want players to be the best they can be and care about their builds (idk if thats what youre really saying). This new mode comes out, players are stuck, because of their builds to an extent, and all the bs once you reach the boss, and builds are so expensive here, it's either you make new ones by spending money on catalyst, or take a long time to farm them, and either you buy hailey or take a long frustrating time to farm her. My go to build is a maxed out tanky gley, and on some of these bosses, it was a no go, so even a tank build with dps had me wondering. And am I gonna go experiment with new builds when my only option is to spend over a hundred bucks for catalyst for one build, if I wanna get to it now, or wait on catalyst to keep making one at a time, making it a real slog. That's a real problem with this game that's all about builds, unless you pay past that problem. And overall, this new content caught everyone by surprise because it sucks so much. I think the vision for the game that players had was much different than what we got. This is boring, frustrating and worst of all, solo only in a multi-player game. As far as data , all I gotta do is look at my friends list in here and it's all greyed out, no one on, check the steam charts, dropped to the lowest yesterday that I seen, and if you're on ps5, turn off cross play and enjoy the game in total privacy cause it will be empty. Look at all the backlash, that says it all, so I'm not sure what you mean by players wanting this. I would 100% agree that the game does not need to be easier. And this is coming from someone that does not pour tons of hours into these games or even gravitate toward super difficult games either. A good grinder should allow you to build up power to tackle the toughest content. For example, you might not be able to get the best rewards for the inversion events at first but will reworking your build for survivability and unlocking some of the passives, you will get better and better. Instead they made it so you will be crushing those events in 4 minutes first try. What is the point of strategic builds, unlocked passives and improved weapons then?
TL:DR did they stop the enemies from spamming annoying ass stun lock abilities? Those robots and that energy shield “toss” spam was so obnoxious. I think people are confusing hard with annoying. Something can be doable but not fun. Game and its player base leans toward fast paced combat, I’d like to see mechanics geared toward that. Specially because the game already time gates things with RNG and actual hours/days long crafting. Repeat tasks have to be FUN for the majority of the player base if they’re so engraved in the core systems of the game.
I’m glad they made all these changes, but I just don’t understand why they’ve made this content single player. Like why make the game centred around multiplayer if you’re going to make invasion dungeons single player. That makes no sense ? The only problem I have with the invasions is for an Ajax player like myself it’s almost impossible to kill the shitload of enemies in the time frame for a gold. They have deathly made these missions centred around bunny which is a character I don’t want to play.
This should have never included Hailey parts and seasonal challenging content for extra rewards. Should of never had to need this because it should of been heavy gold and rewards for gold time clears just not for base parts
@@ZoxLoots if we also scaled or kept leveling that wouldn't be an issue! So if a boss goes to 200 we should go to 160 or whatever! People would still find a way to survive and kill bosses, but when you're lvl 100 and bosses are 200 and all your weapons hit like a noodle fully maxed out feels bad! Def would have to push the leveling further than 100 on releases.
nexon locked a new character behind hard mode interception with terrible drop rate, also nexon OMG this patch worked alot more people are doing hard mode interception
What they need to nerf is all these complainers ADHD. I've seen people movingnthr goal post now to ssying the invasions bosses have buffed hp and shields now. These people will never be happy, literally had to make it into put square into the square hole, and still not good enough for them.
There's comes a point where as a dev you have to let the crybabies cry. The content they have been putting out has been solid in terms of difficulty but people keep complaining because they cant clear it with there glass cannon builds.

I was really excited about the changes but it’s really bummed me out hearing you have a negative opinion on the changes. I personally believe a daily activity should be smooth and easy to not put strain on a player so they can move to the actual game afterwards, in this case hard contact in void battles. It’s possible I just need thicker skin as I don’t topical complain. I do agree that Gold should be reserved for people who try their best and have put in the time to get set up. I think most people (myself included) get stressed out by the “speed runner” mentality and not achieving a goal never feels good, especially when you’re limited on attempts with the most powerful character not necessary locked behind it.

I never had an issue getting gold but i found the objectives tedious. collecting 45/30 brains instead of 20 is not difficult, doing the puzzle twice instead of once is not difficult.

So as long as I run 1 set up and 1 weapon set up and 1 external set up.....we can play and beat the content...... so much for originality. Enjoy being a sheep in your 1% crowd. Dare you to put in the time with an all blue build and still get completions. No character mods either. Beat an invasion with those conditions to show me how nerfed the invasion is.
The problem is a lot of people think they are built properly. And seem to not understand (this is endgame) You ever been in raids or endgame dungeons and not struggle? You dont need a bunch of hours in the game. That is just an excuse especially now. You can be endgame ready in a few days. With a few hours each day or work.
I understand some nerfs, but they gutted these dungeons to where it’s honestly kinda sad now. If you can’t get gold now, you straight up just need to get good. Everyone is equal in this game with enough investment.

These weren't that hard. it's just bad players refusing to invest in their builds. I am not a tryhard by any means but was able to get gold with no issues since its launch. I said it before, the casual community is gonna kill this game, and i really feel bad for the devs with how crybaby the community is.

Casuals make boxing, basketball, football and soccer the majority of their money and in gaming are more likely to buy things from the store to take shortcuts.
@kevinherronjr3998 Based on the ppl I am seeing on Facebook, the casuals are free to play players and don't spend money on the game. I am sure in some aspects you're right, but there's nothing wrong with a little bit of difficulty. This recent patch made invasions a cake walk, and people are still complaining that they can't complete them. At some point people need to start taking accountability cause it will ruin the game if everything is handed to you for just logging in. I am glad that the devs are listening, but they need to put their foot down at some point, ya know.

they new puzzles after the update were not hard .. they are just shit.. a complete waste of time... as you call them nothing but a "GIMMICK"...no need they could have just made massive Monster killing a thing to progress.. also WTH were they thinking about "SOLO" only in what is at its core a CO-OP game....
They removed the timed objectives in hard infiltrations only to introduce missions that required doing the puzzle twice or collecting 15 brains 2 or 3 times... Personally i think matchmaking will make the invasions trivial even if they hadnt implemented these changes. edit. i dont mind them introducing matchmaking for those who want it. allowing players to play the way they want is a win.

Na you aint come at the community your just giving facts out. At the end of the day those invasions weren’t hard ppl just need to have correct builds and try again. They took more time complaining to the devs then working on themselves. Awesome vid tho hopefully someone uses the inversion buffs because they help.
I did fortress and sterile lands invasions today. Got a bronze then a silver on fortress. Felt about right. Sterile lands I got a bronze but didn’t do another run as it was tedious. Get brains, shoot X to lower immunity on boss, shoot shield to damage boss. Do that about three times to finish. There is no way it was ‘easy’.
Fully maxed Viessa with a Greg’s almost maxed. We’ll see how those pillars pan out when they next appear.
This is seasonal content, the FIRST seasonal content. It shouldn’t be a slog for 95% of the player base.
The shitty part is if you dont kill it before it goes back immune it just regenerates. These inversions are just stupid they arent hard
The game definitely could use difficult content for the people who have no life but typically seasonal content in anygame isnt supposed to be a skill check, its just supposed to be something with a gimmick that you do to supplement your normal routine in the game so people expecting the seasonal stuff to be that endgame difficulty content is actually insane

I'm of two frames of mind. Yes, I think there should be harder content for those who have put the time in. However, seasonal content/missions is not the place to be putting it. Seasonal content should be hard to those who have low investment builds, and have been riding off of others in group content. Mid to lower high tiered investment should not be struggling like most have been, including me. I have been working on my weapon builds since that is where I struggle, but I shouldn't be getting frustrated like I was in what should be something most people should experience. Especially since it is tied to the story, which some players may enjoy and now are missing out because they can not engage with the content.

I'd say put in a Savage mode for those who like it, with slightly higher droprate of loot. Main story stuff should be available to all players though.

It's very easy to say everything is easy when you're OP or have all your characters well built so all your based are covered. Giving everything a co-op option or a 100/150/250% difficulty option could've helped too.
@jimstewart8122 im not op lol and the idea I play this game all the time is false, most people have almost double the amount of time I've put into the game. Again I know I play well and I've mentioned that in previous videos as a factor but ive always have said I can see how people could struggle with the content
developer response has been very good, honestly i log in daily not just to keep catalyst research going 24/7 but because i still am having fun grinding and playing all the time. Develpers making the game better little by little and implementing changes is a very welcome sight in today's landscape... i pray they keep this going for years.
I don’t mind difficult dungeons. I don’t mind nerfing the dungeons. I do mind the unnecessary inconveniences the dungeons presented. Imo the dungeons themselves weren’t so difficult as they were more “troll-ish” for a lack of terms: Exploders destroying a marked spot while you’re hidden on the other side of map, boss with a small timegate to shoot him but has magic tracking bullets that forces you to take cover, upon engaging the boss you realize you spawned into the map with only 1/4 of ammo, all the while watching the timer go up, the tumor-killing gun not taking out all 3 tumors with 1 full round, etc…
tldr: I’m glad that they nerfed it tbh. It wasn’t the “difficulty” but the inconveniences that frustrated the hell out of me.
@AlKapo-ee1ey I agree as well. They added small annoyances to slow you down from getting gold. I feel like they should have kept the difficulty as is and only adjusted the annoyances cause it wasn't hard at all, just annoying lol

Let's be honest. A person would pick the wrong bot and kill everyone. That happens twice and the dungeon would be done. It's not a coop setting for the pillars. The platforms require you to stand on it which would mean only one person could reduce the shield. If someone weak does it, it would take forever. The only one that would work for coop is the 30 void pieces. Solo was the way to go. Also you are rewarded for doing it with 1.2 mil gold as a reward.
So they made it easier for the people that can solo, ha a maxed weapons and characters. I can get to the boss fights but I can’t get the shields down fast enough to dps. I feel like if the just made the option for matchmaking or solo it would made it playable for this that can’t solo. But still left in the difficulty
@williampaul9452 I use Thunder cage to beat these before and after the update. If the gun you are using is not working, then you need to invest in it and start maxing out your mods.
Thundercage is my most developed weapon. Was able to tweak my dps listed to about 260K and I still can't deal enough damage to remove the invasion boss shield. It's friggin ridiculous.
I'ma be honest I think once people hit hard mode the first thing they should do is fully build a decent gun and get some decent external components with maxed hp and defense modules that's not very hard and will eliminate most of the struggle people are going through right now if you can't find a good gun easily grab a eternal willpower very easy to obtain very high dmg assault rifle and focus on fully building it I understand it will take a second but to stand a chance against some of these bosses I think fully building a gun is necessary to be one of the first things you do.
Whether anyone finds the invasions easy or not it's pretty obvious all of this was done to pressure people in to buying Hailey, for 3x the price of any other regular descendant at that. There was nothing wrong with how we farmed descendants before, I've farmed every ultimate so I have put some time into that style of farming. Now instead of 4 main bps that you could get quickly or not depending rng we have 1000 small parts that are time gated. I know it's not 1000 but you get my meaning.
This is the best reason to play multiple games at once. All these changes are happening and I haven't tried season 1 yet. Now I get to start with these changes that seem to make the season more enjoyable.
You also have no idea what it was like before so you have nothing to compare it to 🤷♂️

As someone who struggled with the Invasion dungeons, it definitely wasn't that the puzzles were too hard, it was killing the bosses at the end without dying. But I also started the game late and I'm still working my way through building proper descendants and guns, definitely wasn't looking for the nerf on this stuff. It's fine though, it's Season content so the Invasion dungeons were never pitched as super hard content. I will say though a lot of the stuff that got nerfed was just annoying, not super fun parts of the content.

Great content as always!!!! I don’t feel this video was harsh, honestly I respect your opinion. So far, I’ve put 500 hours into the game and I feel that the developers should just make invasion dungeons with difficulty settings or percentages increase like the hard missions.
In my opinion, I will say that before the update, I felt that the invasion dungeons were more gear towards bunny builds, especially with the enemy spawns rates, puzzles, and time limits. I use Ultimate Valby and she has 10-12K HP and 52K Def, before the update, I was barely getting by( silver or bronze). Overall, I appreciate the time you put in to make these videos. Thanks again.
As a disabled player that’s color blind this is huge and awesome for us! Now we can continue to play again. I am concern about 2 guns behind season pass but I do like how season 1 free season pass atleast every one can get the gun. Just can’t 4 star it
I would love harder content, but if the version of hard is a stupid timer with overly annoying puzzles, which forces you to fight a clock thats not they to make hard content
Please people, invest in your favorite characters now. Get the builds going, get your weapons built. Im not against the devs making some things easier for players who are struggling, but those people who are struggling need to also invest in being stronger. Theres so many build guides and videos out there that i just dont see the excuse not too.

They are frustrating & not worth the time. The bosses are way too tanky & hit way too hard.
I have bout 9k hp & 35k def & still get 1 shot. Not because "get gud".
The blue & white shield on the boss look the same still. The boss triggers a shield color that has no line of sight, cause thats great fun. The boss trigger shield color right in front of him, cause thats fun.
Were any of you aware you can die by dropping the bosses shield too many times? Cause thats fun.
These Invasion are equal to molten colossus.
I have Thunder cage fully built x4 copies with 350k dps & it doesn't do anything to the bosses yet they can 1 shot me while I'm forced to stand right in front of them. Cause thats fun.

I really hope that its crazy hard for them. i want to see how their hard work pays off!! ill slowly get there. but to see elite do awesome stuff new builds and team work is so cool! I hate when games become baby easy accessible. I will turn this off as a casual person! i need to feel like progressively getting stronger.
I'm going to wait until they implement multiplayer. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can get to the boss with less issues, but no matter how hard I try, my Ult Gley with 15k health just dies so damn fast from boss shots. Either I play defensively and use cover against the fire ray, but can't get past its shield, or I get 2 shotted playing aggressively and die so damn fast it's crazy.
I do agree with your sentiment that there needs to be difficult content for those people who have the time to max out their builds. But Nexon should have implemented a normal mode and a hard mode just like the rest of the content in this game from the start instead of trying to placate both sides and satisfying neither with a single mode.
I don’t have as much time to play the game but I put time into specific things that will help me moving forward I don’t have the most Skill dmg but I can survive regardless who I use but I focus more dmg on my weapons because that DPS is more Consistent

I've been playing this game since day one, unfortunately i only have about 5-6hrs a week to enjoy playing. Ive unlocked 9 Descendants and half the special weapons and i have not yet cleared one single invasion! 😢 This nerf is so everybody can enjoy the game, and maybe have a chance and unlocking Hailey w/o paying $
With that amount of time tbh that's way more descendants than you need, I've made a video talking about time investment and how that drastically changes progression even with minimal times but accessibility to the unit I'm all for I want the bros to have fun
That just legit means you dont know how to build. My buddy has less time, less descendants, less weapons and still can. Stop making glass cannon builds and following youtubers builds to a T. Build to your playstyle. If you need more survivability, then sacrifice some damage.
Maybe we should have just had a normal and hard mode invasion 🤷♂️

Honestly, I have know right to have an opinion on this cause I was hung up on hanged man 😆 getting a group of people that knew what to do is crazy! Tonight I'm trying this new season content, what I have seen and heard it sounds stupid so...besides color blinded people the only thing the Devs needed to fix was co-op , in my opinion!

I believe in gate keeping. However when it's done wrong. It will cripple your player base. More so for a live service game. Adding raid like mechanics solo was a instrumental failure. Most players do not have a fully fleshed out setup. Which means they will not be able to complete the dungeon. Especially when you factor in a timer.
They should add an actual raid, that challenges players. Offering unique weapons and gear (hopefully in season two or three).
To satisfy the wants and needs of the hardcore players.
This game needs a horde mode with a bunch of waves and different commanders and elites to defeat at the end of certain waves.
Special operations already do this

I’m not enjoying the invasions, maxed out Valby main 6 Catalyst maxed Nazeistra and I can’t do any damage to some of the dungeon bosses but the rest of the game is still fun enough for me to stick around till 2nd season

I only have a Thunder Cage and I had to work hard and perfect play to get gold. Last night I made mistakes and fell off the map and respawned once and still got gold with 2 minutes to spare. This is easy mode now even in my glass bunny smh. Pub boss fights are the only hard challenge in this game again. I hope that new hard mode content is legit hard.
The monsters are still doing boatloads of damage. I think it’s still difficult content and I wouldn’t be surprised if tons of players still can’t complete the invasions
Please make a video doing the Fortress invasion with no modules and only using a non 100 pistol. This would be a good challenge.

heres the thing you guys dont seem to understand.....you no lifers are not a majority of the community. You are the minority. Asking for brain dead hp sponges and 50 minute raids is gonna drive off the player base. I mean heck...look whats already happened with the garbo season 1 update. Its unfortunate that these changes came so late because I highly doubt its gonna bring anyone back. People already moved on.
On another note, Im not saying challenging content is bad but when you lock certain things behind only that challenging content or introduce bs mechanics, especially in solo play when its meant to be multiplayer, you are gonna have people complaining. i started the invasion dungeons a couple nights ago and i found the difficulty pretty fun and a change of pace from being able to nodiff everything in my path
also the people complaining about the difficulty are probably the same people who go into a molten fortress or gluttony intercept battle with a lvl of less than 30

Its sad that they can't put any challenging content in this game. Its such a great game but people complain so much and this happens. Now its going to be another instant people can just run through. Me personally like having puzzles and other little challenges. Even if that mean changing my build so I am not a glass cannon and need to put on some defense or health.

I really just don't care for the mechanics they put into the invasions, and especially the inversions before patch. I also don't care for wipe mechanics in the intercepts. Fun for a while, but I just put it down, and I have an eisimo and enduring legacy that are sitting in the kitchen waiting for me to collect them......Ill probably keep tabs on your vids to see if anything sparks my interest again.

There is a reason and it has nothing to do with what players wanted...we didn't even know what was coming out, nevermind wanting it to be solo.
@@JoeyAndTheBoss no more of referring to content creators which set an expectation for soloing and squishy builds. Devs collected data and could see tons of players building in that direction which is why i guess they decided to go the solo route. What we are seeing are readjustment pains within the community. A lot of people weren't prepared for the content at hand simply because their progression was rubber banded. There's a reason i take my time with content and i think about what kinds of players are playing.

@@ZoxLoots It's a ftp game, and every mode or gimmick is made in a way to get you to spend time and money, they even call some items in the shop time-savers. I highly doubt they want players to be the best they can be and care about their builds (idk if thats what youre really saying).
This new mode comes out, players are stuck, because of their builds to an extent, and all the bs once you reach the boss, and builds are so expensive here, it's either you make new ones by spending money on catalyst, or take a long time to farm them, and either you buy hailey or take a long frustrating time to farm her.
My go to build is a maxed out tanky gley, and on some of these bosses, it was a no go, so even a tank build with dps had me wondering. And am I gonna go experiment with new builds when my only option is to spend over a hundred bucks for catalyst for one build, if I wanna get to it now, or wait on catalyst to keep making one at a time, making it a real slog. That's a real problem with this game that's all about builds, unless you pay past that problem.
And overall, this new content caught everyone by surprise because it sucks so much. I think the vision for the game that players had was much different than what we got. This is boring, frustrating and worst of all, solo only in a multi-player game.
As far as data , all I gotta do is look at my friends list in here and it's all greyed out, no one on, check the steam charts, dropped to the lowest yesterday that I seen, and if you're on ps5, turn off cross play and enjoy the game in total privacy cause it will be empty. Look at all the backlash, that says it all, so I'm not sure what you mean by players wanting this.

I would 100% agree that the game does not need to be easier. And this is coming from someone that does not pour tons of hours into these games or even gravitate toward super difficult games either. A good grinder should allow you to build up power to tackle the toughest content. For example, you might not be able to get the best rewards for the inversion events at first but will reworking your build for survivability and unlocking some of the passives, you will get better and better. Instead they made it so you will be crushing those events in 4 minutes first try. What is the point of strategic builds, unlocked passives and improved weapons then?
TL:DR did they stop the enemies from spamming annoying ass stun lock abilities? Those robots and that energy shield “toss” spam was so obnoxious.
I think people are confusing hard with annoying. Something can be doable but not fun.
Game and its player base leans toward fast paced combat, I’d like to see mechanics geared toward that.
Specially because the game already time gates things with RNG and actual hours/days long crafting. Repeat tasks have to be FUN for the majority of the player base if they’re so engraved in the core systems of the game.
I’m glad they made all these changes, but I just don’t understand why they’ve made this content single player.
Like why make the game centred around multiplayer if you’re going to make invasion dungeons single player. That makes no sense ?
The only problem I have with the invasions is for an Ajax player like myself it’s almost impossible to kill the shitload of enemies in the time frame for a gold. They have deathly made these missions centred around bunny which is a character I don’t want to play.

This should have never included Hailey parts and seasonal challenging content for extra rewards. Should of never had to need this because it should of been heavy gold and rewards for gold time clears just not for base parts

@@ZoxLoots if we also scaled or kept leveling that wouldn't be an issue! So if a boss goes to 200 we should go to 160 or whatever! People would still find a way to survive and kill bosses, but when you're lvl 100 and bosses are 200 and all your weapons hit like a noodle fully maxed out feels bad! Def would have to push the leveling further than 100 on releases.
nexon locked a new character behind hard mode interception with terrible drop rate, also nexon OMG this patch worked alot more people are doing hard mode interception

What they need to nerf is all these complainers ADHD. I've seen people movingnthr goal post now to ssying the invasions bosses have buffed hp and shields now. These people will never be happy, literally had to make it into put square into the square hole, and still not good enough for them.
There's comes a point where as a dev you have to let the crybabies cry. The content they have been putting out has been solid in terms of difficulty but people keep complaining because they cant clear it with there glass cannon builds.

Brother please don’t come at the community like this, I understand it sucks to have things made easier when you’ve been saying you want harder content. I was really excited about the changes but it’s really bummed me out hearing you have a negative opinion on the changes. I personally believe a daily activity should be smooth and easy to not put strain on a player so they can move to the actual game afterwards, in this case hard contact in void battles. It’s possible I just need thicker skin as I don’t topical complain. I do agree that Gold should be reserved for people who try their best and have put in the time to get set up. I think most people (myself included) get stressed out by the “speed runner” mentality and not achieving a goal never feels good, especially when you’re limited on attempts with the most powerful character not necessary locked behind it.

I never had an issue getting gold but i found the objectives tedious. collecting 45/30 brains instead of 20 is not difficult, doing the puzzle twice instead of once is not difficult.

So as long as I run 1 set up and 1 weapon set up and 1 external set up.....we can play and beat the content...... so much for originality. Enjoy being a sheep in your 1% crowd. Dare you to put in the time with an all blue build and still get completions. No character mods either. Beat an invasion with those conditions to show me how nerfed the invasion is.
The problem is a lot of people think they are built properly. And seem to not understand (this is endgame) You ever been in raids or endgame dungeons and not struggle? You dont need a bunch of hours in the game. That is just an excuse especially now. You can be endgame ready in a few days. With a few hours each day or work.

I understand some nerfs, but they gutted these dungeons to where it’s honestly kinda sad now. If you can’t get gold now, you straight up just need to get good. Everyone is equal in this game with enough investment.

FACTS!! I got one silver in all the invasions. Ppl cry that its to hard and they cater to the noobs instead of letting them work for it. Its sad. I finally got Hailey yesterday and now shes basically a free character

These weren't that hard. it's just bad players refusing to invest in their builds. I am not a tryhard by any means but was able to get gold with no issues since its launch. I said it before, the casual community is gonna kill this game, and i really feel bad for the devs with how crybaby the community is.
@@delpeck2067I agree, they weren’t hard but from a pure business standpoint that’s not true. Casuals are the majority and not having them will kill it. Just like everything else. Casuals make boxing, basketball, football and soccer the majority of their money and in gaming are more likely to buy things from the store to take shortcuts.
@kevinherronjr3998 Based on the ppl I am seeing on Facebook, the casuals are free to play players and don't spend money on the game. I am sure in some aspects you're right, but there's nothing wrong with a little bit of difficulty. This recent patch made invasions a cake walk, and people are still complaining that they can't complete them. At some point people need to start taking accountability cause it will ruin the game if everything is handed to you for just logging in. I am glad that the devs are listening, but they need to put their foot down at some point, ya know.
@@delpeck2067I hear you I just don’t think it applies with this exact change. The invasions were not hard to begin with, just annoying. None of the content is. The difficulty comes from doing boss fights with a bad team lol

they new puzzles after the update were not hard .. they are just shit.. a complete waste of time... as you call them nothing but a "GIMMICK"...no need they could have just made massive Monster killing a thing to progress.. also WTH were they thinking about "SOLO" only in what is at its core a CO-OP game....
They removed the timed objectives in hard infiltrations only to introduce missions that required doing the puzzle twice or collecting 15 brains 2 or 3 times...
Personally i think matchmaking will make the invasions trivial even if they hadnt implemented these changes.
edit. i dont mind them introducing matchmaking for those who want it. allowing players to play the way they want is a win.
