"The end is a new beginning" The first idea I thought of was a death simulator game where you have to die in a specific way within a certain amount but you don't know what way that is. Once you do the deed correctly, you start over in a new area. The deaths will get more specific and the timers will get shorter as the game goes on
My thought was a side scrolling game with a rain world like art style, where each death or cycle would have the offspring of the last character continue the next cycle, but with a new, random genetic trait. Like you might start with a grapple tongue, but your next cycle you might have a tongue that can grab enemies and food, and so on
