I am also looking at rear bumpers and upgrading my leaf springs. The OME heavy duty pack just isn't cutting it. Check out the Archive Garage leaf springs. I think I'm going to go that direction with their heavy duty leaf packs.
Good stuff. I'd love to see a video on the Joying. Bluetooth is starting to get sketchy on my stock unit and I can't use one of those giant screen solutions because of some mounting solutions I'm using.
Have Same truck. trd without cap though. Just got my headlights replaced. Look fantastic. Question, how did you get the new radio? And who installed that
All the new trim looks great. I know what you mean about wanting to hold on to your truck. I can’t wait to see the changes and then watch them put to use. You keeping those wheels for the 35s right?
That I’m so sure about yet. I still have the SCS Ray 10s and I’m still going back and forth of which ones I want to use. They are both 16” wheels and will both work with the tires
Go 34 inch tires 285/75/17 the spare can fit under the truck. I wanted to get a rear bumper but every single swing out vibrates and the extra weight sucks. Trying to keep the weight down on my 2015 Tacoma. Are you regeared? if not the Tacoma gonna be sluggish and the trans hated the bigger tires until I regeared to 456 gears.
How does the headunit download stuff and have youtube and internet? Are you using your phone as a hotspot? And do you have to run that wire into the glovebox (the thumbdrive thing) to do updates? I just got this thing and havent installed it yet. Im hoping its plug n play and i dont havd to run any wires through the dash. Not a fan of doing that
@ericschmidt3759 I think your best bet would to find the thread on Tacoma World. I think there is a thread of people who have updated their interior to the new interior
@@MrAustinguerra amzn.to/4774rQR this is the ones I used. I used a step drill bit to make the space a tiny bit larger to fit them and then just wired them into the factory power of the old 12v outlets
You can find the new head unit here in my Amazon storefront: www.amazon.com/shop/alpinetactics
I have a second gen and love watching second gen Tacoma content. Need more of it
Awesome! I think I’ll be pumping out so more over the next few months

Nice, I’ll check that out

Awesome, thanks for letting me know!
Yes please ..this is the review I’m waiting for.. I have a Cdn Trail Teams Edition and looking to upgrade to this unit
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know!
Pretty sweet video! The Alpharex Nova series is definitely nice looking. However stock head units with LED Morimotos or similar are really bright.
Thanks!
the headlights look great imo! Curious to hear how you like the joying so I'm interested in hearing it.
Thanks! Sounds good!
And the build goes on and on and on 👍🏻 😎
Haha it never ends

Nice! That’s good to know 👍 I’ll probably still go with the 35s because I already have them. Re gearing will definitely be part of the plan too

I have 2013 manual tacoma and I put on 285s on them what you suggest to get good gas mileage on it.
how did you get a Non Orange clock for your 2nd gen? Thank you in advance.
2012-15 models had a bit of an update. They changed some of the interior features as well as the front look of the truck
@@alpinetactics Thank you, that’s what I was thinking. I’m wondering if I can get one to work in my 2011??

@@alpinetactics Thank you
Trying to seal that 3 piece bed design is a tall order many..many ..spots to seal up
Yeah for sure, it doesn’t have to be perfect but it’s pretty bad right now lol
Can I have the link to the cigarette lighter or a quick description of how to install it 😬
