Joe Biden's statements against AR-15 owners are nothing more than bully tactics, attempting to discourage individuals from even considering the idea of resisting a potentially tyrannical government.
It's disheartening to hear a president insinuate that the very people who elected him are powerless to prevent tyranny.
This video explores why such statements are not only unbecoming of a president but also raise questions about the principles our nation was founded upon.
Joe Biden's recent speech at the U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting had lots of candid remarks mocking AR-15 owners advocating for protection against potential tyranny, a core principle behind the Second Amendment.
I delve into the historical context that shaped this constitutional right and explore why Biden's statements are concerning.
Join me for a quick, insightful analysis of Biden's speech - a reminder that the fight for freedom is ongoing.

People in Mexico were disarmed by the government in the late 90’s. I was there when my grandfathers place was raided by soldiers, they took our rifles and shotguns. My cousins and I were 13 and had AK’s pointed at us while they told my grandpa they would shoot us all if we didnt listen. They knew who my grandpa was, they knew he fought in the Spanish civil war against Frnco and knew wha he had. We only saved 2 we had hidden in a cabin. It was created to provide for national and local defense in the absence of a standing army, which the new country could not afford and did not want.Individuals were to provide their own guns, since the US could not afford to provide them.
It was to be "well regulated", that is, under a chain of command, not an independent bunch of gun toting rowdies.
It was to be composed of white men, who were at the time the only full citizens of the United States.
There is NO provision in the Constitution for ANY group of people to decide by themselves that "tyranny" has taken over America and that this gives them the right to shoot at cps, soldiers, or anyone else.
America is governed by the People, not by groups of gun toting racists and conspiracy theorists. If those groups, and others like them, decide to take up arms against the US government, they are committing Treason and are subject to arrest and punishment according to law,
The Constitution provides AMPLE means for people to make their will known, to change the people who hold office, to rally, debate, spread propaganda and otherwise alert their countrymen to such dangers as they may believe exist.
It does NOT provide for violent insurrection as a means of governing the country, and in fact regards it as a CRIME to be punished, if necessary by deployment of government forces.
The Constitution provides for a STABLE, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC in which ALL derives from the People, not just from those who happen to own guns, or who happen to be of a certain race, or who happen to watch a lot of conspiracy garbage on TV.

Aren't you such a perceptive brain! Of COURSE, Biden reveals his whole agenda by leaving out a word!
After three and a half years, you have no fear of writing insulting remarks about the President, publishing them under your own name ( I assume), and thinking nothing will happen to you.
In a tyranny, you can't do that. They come after you and punish you for that. They mark o down as a "dangerous element" and track you and your associates. And if your pal happens to say something insulting about the tyrant, you get called in to tell the police why you didn't report it.
And god help you if you say "I didn't think it was important" or "I am too proud to spy on my friends". That's when Big Mike comes in and lands a solid kick on your jaw as an introduction to what he will do next.
THAT'S tyranny. Some are milder than that; others much tougher. Joe Biden isn't even on the list. He is decent man who respects people, has no intention of becoming a tyrant, and ha a long record of public service to prove his lack of tyrannical tendencies.

It's about removing the population's ability to fight back against tyrants. But you know that. I bet you actually want the government to have full control over your life. I bet you want to be controlled. Independence is too hard, because it requires taking responsibility for yourself and you can't handle that. You somehow think more power in the hands of a few is better for everyone. The second amendment was literally put in place to stop government corruption.
A government that is afraid of its people is a government in check. It is the ultimate check and balance for the country. Removing it tips the balance in favor of the government and against the best interests of the people. A government that is not in check can do whatever it wants without fear.
You shouldn't have guns, if you think that the purpose of guns is to commit crimes and murder innocent people. Guns are an equalizer. Do you know why nobody uses nukes? Because everyone has nukes. Imagine if everyone except Russia disarmed. Suddenly Russia has nothing to fear from using their nukes against anyone that stands up to them as they take control of country after country, believing it to be their right to have jurisdiction over all of Europe.
Same logic, applied here. If you disarm everyone except for the government, the government will have zero issue grabbing more control over more areas of the private sector, and that means less freedom and independence in your day to day.
But I'm assuming you're a socialist who thinks widespread government control will benefit everyone. Because you didn't pay attention in history class.
You bought the lie that trading your freedoms is worth it to be safe. You deserve neither.

Joe Biden is under the impression that the armed forces will engage with the law abiding citizens of this country. I don't think they will. I'll bet most of the military personnel have law abiding family members that own firearms. That leaves a few gun grabbers. Let's do some math. There are about one hundred million people that own approximately four hundred million firearms. Who is going to come and get them? The pansies that are afraid to look at them, let alone actually touch one? The armed forces personnel take an oath, the same oath as ALL politicians, the difference is they take the oath very serious. Therefore I'm thinking the "government" will be largely outnumbered. That is why they don't want the citizens armed.

Back when the 2nd ammendment was written you could buy a warship if you had the money and that is where the privateers came in and they were basically soldiers of fortune
One more point, back then every man of age was required to be a part of the militia. When called up be it for defence of the colonie or in times of natural disaster every single able bodied man came to help. They were also required to show up with a weapon. Some didnt have a musket so they showed up with a pitchfork or other tool that could be used. These are the people who showed up at Lexington and and Concord. Yes many were slauterer but they took a stand against the English. In the revolution we were loosing until the French came to our aid providing naval support, troops, and arms.

@@dragonzgaming5056 In Psychology, the important thing to realize is *_inherently good people don't seek to rule over other people, but narcissistic and evil people do._* So when people run for office, there is a disproportionate amount of "bad" people seeking the positions of power. This often leaves rest of us voting for the lesser of two evils, but ultimately, still casting our vote for evil. ...It doesn't mean that good people can't or don't run for office when they feel they can make a positive difference, but they are the minority.
The lesson; be wary of any person in a so-called position of "authority" or power, including police officers (there are some good ones, but there are definitely bad ones). More importantly, understand that "authority" is only an illusion. It is power of dominance granted from one person to another, that ultimately only exists within their heads. The moment you comprehend this, you can take your power back from that so-called "Authority" figure.
To make a comparison, In the story of Robinhood, the townsfolk could not shake from their minds that the Sheriff of Nottingham was still an "authority" figure. Because of this, they cowered and bowed their heads, allowing themselves to be subjugated by him. Alternatively, the Sheriff held no position of "authority" within Robinhood's mind, and therefore Robinhood was able to live free and fight the Sheriff's tyranny.
This same comparison can be made of Governments and their citizens throughout the world ... including the United states of America. Considering that U.S. citizens pay about 40% of their earned income as taxes (there are behind the scenes taxes and tariffs that most don't recognize), that means most people are laboring for the government almost half their working lives ...and that's not even taking into account inflation. See the correlation?

Th US military is constitutionally bound by an Oath to obey the chain of command, which go all the way up to the Commander in Chief elected by the People.
There is always a Commander in Chief with the full authority of the Constitution behind him or her.
In the Civil War, many soldiers betrayed their Oath and took up arms against the Constitution they had sworn to defend. President Lincoln ordered that these men be forced to surrender to the authority of the Constitution, or suffer death or wounds if they refused.
If any US soldier betrays his Oath he is committing a serious crime; the exact nature of his betrayal will be part of any court martial or trial he must face if captured alive.
We are talking here about the dissolution of the armed forces, the bulwark of American security in the world, depended upon by many allied nations as their strongest guarantee against invasion or subversion.
This talk of insurrection is seditious, and if it moves on to actual planning of the dissolution of the Armed Forces or their refusal to follow the orders of their chain of command, it is the crime of seditious conspiracy, which in recent months has been punished very severely.
Should such a conspiracy be successful in whole or in part, in dissolving the chain of command of the Armed Forces and replacing it with the orders of some general or politician, the People are fully justified in rising in rebellion against such a regime and using whatever force and assistance from abroad and internally to destroy that regime and bring its members to justice.
No free American and all Americans are free, can be bound by the orders of an illegitimate, unconstitutional regime; every American has the duty to do what he or she can to weaken and overthrow such a regime, and to insist that those guilty of installing and maintaining be tried and punished to the full extent of the law,
The key to legitimacy in the US is and always will be the Will of the People, expressed democratically in accordance with the laws and customs of the United Sates.
No fake election or referendum or other contrivance can have any weight against the Will of the People, which overrides ALL unconstitutional measures, whether backed by force or not.
The Constitution is not a plaything or a bunch of technicalities that some smart lawyer or con artist can pervert as he pleases. It is the expression of the Will of the American People, and can ONLY be changed or replaced by them in accordance with the Constitution's own rules.
Attempt to disregard this foundational truth of the Republic must never be tolerated, always punished, or our Constitution is nothing but toilet paper and our democracy a joke.

The government stands no chance at subjugating the populace without at least disarming them first. I know it’s just a movie but look at the Ewok fight in Return of The Jedi. Ewoks had the number and home advantage and despite being hopelessly outgunned they won anyway. Now imagine those Ewoks had AR-15s.
