      Thank you sir!
I had to go from thru hole resistors to SMT to add some final enhancements but it’s very solid now.

Does this replace the relay or is it an OD shutoff. I have a Volvo with the Laycock Type D and have been playing around with a shutoff should the OD not be switched off prior to downshifting. Without it shifting up would normally re activate OD cresting a bit of a surprise as revs drop significantly.

I did some research on the installing one of my solid-state overdrive controls in the D-type overdrive installed in your Volvo . It looks like the control would operate your overdrive as you have a interrupt switch on 4th gear. In operation in your application, I will assume that your overdrive switch is NOT a momentary type switch. That means that it is either "ON" or "OFF" depending on the switch position. If that is the case then assuming you are in 4th gear and you want to engage the overdrive you would flip the overdrive switch on and off once which would engage the overdrive. If you change to any other gear, the overdrive will disengage. To re-engage the overdrive you would have to be back in 4th gear and turn the overdrive switch on and off once.
I am working with a guy who is making a wooden shift knob with a "momentary" push button switch which would move the overdrive control to the knob. There is also a LED indicator output on the control where you can connect a LED which would turn on when the overdrive is engaged.
My next video on the control will go into some detail on how to connect my solid-state overdrive control into the wiring on a Triumph sports car which may be helpful to you.
If you have any further questions you can email me directly at dconnitt@gmail.com.
      Thanks,
      Dave

@ yes the switch is on/off, and if leaving on while gearing down the OD is disengaged, however if gearing back up to fourth with switch still on the OD once again engages, jumping past fourth. The simple SCR circuit found online and soon to be tested supposedly, in this situation, defeats the engagement of the OD, until the switch is moved from on to off and on again.
