Commenting before watching: i own the NXT and use it a LOT for my gun maintenance, it was cheaper than a leatherman and i abuse tools too hard to pay 200 for a good one
I just don't have Leatherman money. I carry a $25 Schrade that I have some deep seated nostalgia with on the regular. I can do a butterfly knife deal with it.
I remember when you weren't interested in multi-tools. I love clones, but not counterfeits. There IS a difference. Even so, really cheap counterfeits have their place. It's a way to see if you're interested in buying the real thing.
Gerber didn't include a sheath with the Suspension NXT. Not sure if they do with the Suspension, but since the NXT is the more budget version, Gerber omitted the sheath to save a few bucks.
I've used only a gerber multitool for the last 25 years or so. Broken the blade a few times and they have replaced it no questions asked. I've ether gotten a new blade or a new tool. Stand up service from Gerber !
Thank you big Pun(isher)

I also VERY dislike the lack of a threading hole on the "awl" (they call it one but it sucks, def a scraper)

To each his own. There's 100% a big difference between clones and counterfeits for sure though.

Yeah, bummer but you can get something identical $15 cheaper WITH a sheath.
Yeah, it's a dumb move on Gerber's part. That's a small part of why I didn't enjoy the NXT that much.
Well, we expect no less

Nice! I just wish their budget knives were as good as this multitool.
@knivesiguess yeah . I the other hand , I don't do gerber knives . I own a couple and don't like them. A lmf , a grills folder and a paraframe. ..YUK.
As much as I have disliked Gerber knives - they multitools have done right by me.
Man they can't get a budget blade right.
It IS my fault words are hard and I feel no shame for that.
