never found music older than baroque interesting, same reason why i think the classical period isn't way more interesting either
but no doubt it's absolutely gorgeous
good job guys
I'm glad you like it! This is Baroque music (1600-1750) since it was composed in 1700.
@brandonacker oh read that as 400 sorry
but that's really interesting
this sounds like a renaissance period piece of music
Listen to middle ages saltarellos . Some are awsome !!!
I needed that so bad. Thank you for spreading beauty in a chaotic time.
I wanted to cry and laugh. What beautiful music.
Thanks for this concert
Terrific, like all your joint performances ❤️
Wow!! Sooooo nice! Thank you!
Yeah ! Music mastery !
I prefer more rythmical baroque but i must bow down
I am absolutely sure that I couldn't time Brandon's instrument.
Beautiful stuff!🎉🎉🎉❤
i recently discovered your channel through the video about the history of the guitar, and it was really good.
You are such an amazing player, and i love your pieces with the baroque instruments
Thank you! 😊
Wonderful, thanks to both of you !

Another Pine/Acker duet, another upvote ...
Bonsoir Brandon !
Are these instruments period instruments ?
You both play beautifully. Thanks for sharing with us .
Also ,i like the girl 's dress very much .colourful and lovely
Thanks! The violin is an original and my lute is a replica.
OMG A ZOMBIE LUTE. AIM FOR THE PEG HEAD TO DESTROY THE BRAIN
Was this piece included in the printings of his works that sold so well?
I like the performance, but can't stop thinking that violin stands out too much, lute has very gentle sound, but the violin sound is too powerful. Maybe it would be a lot better, if instead of violin, she used some predecessor instrument with less power and volume in it. Idk smth from viola family, they definitely would fit lite a lot more, than super bright loud violin.
She is playing an incredible original violin from around 1700 with gut strings and what you are hearing is the right sound for that time, which I find very beautiful. The melody is supposed to be louder than the accompaniment.
