Can i just say that i LOVE your upper and lower body stretching routines? I use both of them as workouts sometimes and then do yoga for my cool down. I've gotten so toned and strong from doing this-- I noticed results after only doing it twice! This is the most effective video I've ever used to tone my legs and obliques. Please make more of these active stretch routines. They are so effective!
3 years now I have been doing this and the upper body active stretching routine... Thanks @FitnessBlender. It is an easy way to catch up with exercise after a long break
Nice! It felt like a workout and a flexibility routine at the same time, plus no jumping! It's funny how some of these look so easy but feel so hard! Active stretching is using your muscles to stretch so you're not only gaining flexibility, but also extra strength around those areas. This protects you against future injury and also is good for your fitness overall. I liked how the first one strengthens your knees. I could feel it working. I know for me that knee strength is a high priority because I want knees that can handle exercising and also knees that will last me the rest of my life :)
Hey, man! I really like doing this routine after the upper body routine you posted as well. It helps in my volleyball training. Awesome! How's Emily and the kids? 😆
Used this as an offday workout and as much as I love working on my body sometimes especially at the end of the week or after a long day, a stretching routine can go a long way!
Amazing!!! This is the first fitness youtube channel that I can follow!! I found out about you guys recently and I've loved you since then!! Thank you so much!!!! x
Really enjoy Fitness blenders, excellent variety of exercises, done in real-time with clear instructions and great instructors whom seem really nice people. Thanks for an great workout, ouch!! :-)
As always a great stretch routine. Daniel is very clear and concise in his instructions and always gives the participant a chance to go that bit further or lessen the stretch if necessary. I highly recommend all of Fitness Blender videos, there's something for every type of exercise motivation you have! Thank you.
I've used this stretch workout and the upper body one last winter and I swear i could squeeze through tight places while i was moving furniture around bending and reaching without hurting myself I felt very flexible ! It worked for me well. I just started doing these stretches again because I feel very stiff and omg does this ever feel amazing on my body
I really like this video because after working out for a few days in a row with only a quick five minute cool down I can really feel it stretch. Especially my glutes (guess I did too many squats). Hope you keep making a few of these longer stretch videos. It is much appreciated
Loved this video for an active stretch cool down. I paired it with a warm up and 10 min low impact cardio video. I wanted to move a little bit but take it easy also because my body was stiff and sore from pushing myself this week during my other workouts. This felt really good to the stiff muscles and just the calm and relaxing I needed during the babies nap time.
Thank you so much for this. Doing this and your upper body one after kettlebell workout means I have no aches the next day. And after four days of doing these stretches, I can now do flat-footed squats for the first time. I am amazed. Thank you.
Gonna do this after I finish my cycling routine on my indoor upright bike thank you so much for this! Hope one day you make a program that fits in indoor cycling, would definately would love that and get that program!
This workout is brilliant! Stretching AND increasing my flexibility and strength? Yes please 👍 Could you also do a workout like this but with a mini band?
What's up fitness blender. I think your workouts are awesome. I was wondering if you could put a workout together for a11 yr old boy. My son races BMX and plays football. I need something with a warm up and workout for power speed fast feet and cardio. In Bmx he needs to have explosive speed and cardio quick twitch muscles. Football needs the same also strength. I love your workouts they really keep me motivated just wondering if ya had something for my boy ya know more kid like. Just a thought Many thanks Jim
Both of my knees (and sometimes other parts of my body) keep shaking while doing these stretches and I've been doing them for months now. What could be the reason for this? Is there something I could do to prevent that from happening? I do enjoy these stretches, so I don't want to stop doing them, but the shaking's disconcerting nonetheless.
when I do the seated torso rotation it hurts my lower back. I don't know what it's supposed to be stretching, so I'm finding it hard to correct myself. can anyone enlighten me as to where I should feel the stretch?
This particular session is kinda weird. That seated hamstring and torso stretched made my core muscles come out or something for a while. It felt painful and weird

This is the holy grail of exercise. Stretching strenght and stability.

Wow. Deceptively effective. Thank you for creating quick, professional routines that are simple to follow and not just cardio or HIIT.
This was amazing! Definitely will repeat. Thanks, FB!

awesome ..thanks alot
Wow, you guys introduce to me the exact exercises that I need (this and some other videos), super helpful~! I'm a big fan~!
Jeebus that's some exhausting stretching!
This was different I felt like more isometric training then stretching. My heart was up though!
I thought the same too. I'm not familiar with Isometric Training but now I think I'll look it up cause I really enjoyed this video.
nothing wrong with isometrics.
Nice cool down after a trainer ride.
Who else watching for school?
I AM LITERALLY DYING! nice exercise though.
amaising!!!

Great felt good after that
No, youre not Daniel. Youre Jim.
Halpert! Is that you?

this first exercise actually hurts really bad
Can we put are foot or back on the wall for balance? Kelly
JIM!
I thought active stretching had to do with movement. I may be wrong but these all seem like static stretches to me.
+Robin V (RunningwithGod1.0) You're thinking of dynamic stretching...
This particular session is kinda weird. That seated hamstring and torso stretched made my core muscles come out or something for a while. It felt painful and weird
💛🙏💛🙏💛🙏💛🙏💛
