Well I'm a week late but I watched the video. I was thinking "Why haven't Critical Bench uploaded any videos?" Apparently you did but TH-cam decided to play hide and seek with me. I like to get my Critical Bench videos on a regular basis. It was good to see Brian and as someone with issues in both knees I needed to see this video. And I'm appreciative of it.

I can only do #3 without pain. Its painful to get up off the floor though! Lol. Oh well, I have been searching for minths to find something I can do. I finally found one. It is probably worth the pain of getting onto amd off of the floor if i can get some glute strength from it though. Thank you.

I have arthritis in both of my knees too. I’m currently 44 but I was diagnosed at the age of 26. My left knee is in really bad shape and I can’t squat anymore without being in awful pain . Up until recently I was able to lift and jump with tight knee braces but now just going upstairs hurts .
Trying to streamline my workouts. If I had to choose glute bridge or hip thrust on bench, which one? I’m not gonna use a barbell but have a 20lb medicine ball or can load a very heavy canvas bag up to 40lbs.

Can you talk about positioning when doing the hip thrusts on a bench, chair or couch? Are the shoulder blades supposed to be above the edge?

The band on the clam shell is usually safe because your feet are not planted on the ground and thus not hyper extending your knees.

You could, but it might be painful. Usually a torn meniscus requires surgery
