    I was turning blue watching the mill swing around on the crane while you were moving it!

      @deezworkshop  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It worked out ;-) I did have a corner of the base touching/resting on one leg to stabalize it a bit. I just needed to get it moved over and was as careful as I could be. I suppose I should have placed that support board on before I started moving it.

    I'm bringing mine home that I bought this weekend. It's a pre-owned unit but it's only a year and a few months old. Can't wait.

    Excellent! Thanks for sharing from unboxing to bench setup and cleaning. Lots of good tips.
    Mine is due in about a week, and I just purchased the HF lift for it. Enjoy!

    • @deezworkshop
      @deezworkshop  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That lift was a great purchase, Still recommend having a friend around but this will let you out it in place without removing the column to lift the 2 parts seperately. If yours arrives like mine did you will love this thing.

      Thansk, Some of my earlier stuff was a little long winded but I have been trying to take a lot of that out and keep the relevant details in the content. Thanks for the feedback. I hope this kind of content helps others.

    Nice addition to your work space. One thing to remember when running a Milling Machine, chips fly every where. Remember to put your safety glasses on. Have fun but be careful. Happy New Machine Day😊.

      Good tip! and I appreciate the safety reminder. Yeah with my first test chips I quickly realized the chips are going everywhere. I am even more glad I moved the workshop out of my main garage. The machine is really nice, Very happy with it. Hope your doing well and thanks for watching. I see your are closing in on that elusive 1k subscriber mark. Keep it up and Cheers.

    So happy to see you grow into this, Deez. When you first started, I had to suppress my impulse to yell "no, don't do THAT" half the time, but now you've mastered so many things. It's been a pleasure coming along for the ride.

    • @deezworkshop
      @deezworkshop  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely a lot to learn when starting out. It is so easy to make the simplest of mistakes, especially around safety and procedure. It was difficult at first when I started putting myself out there. Its hard to hear the criticism as often as I was getting it but I Made a decision, I will take all this feedback constructively and learn from it. I have the capacty to learn and interest but didnt have the knowledge. So I chose to let the internet be my teachers. Thank you to you and everyone else over this last year and a half for helping me learn and continue on. I will always make mistakes but hope to continue to learn from them. This milling machine will be a lot of fun. Thanks or sticking with me.

    I use a button grease and oil 1 hand pump specifically for those type of button fittings. I bought them from mac tools some 40yrs ago. Went out to my shop to see if i could get you a part # but it didnt have one. Im sure several tool companies still make them as all air tools use button style oilers.
    I really like that mill, you are going to have many hours of enjoyment with it. I like your strait to the point that im learning as i go. New hobbies are very fun to start and enjoyable to share. What is really nice are the amount of people sharing their knowledge with you and assisting you gain skill.
    You have a new sub here and i will be binge watching your video's. Keep up the fun video's 😊

    • @deezworkshop
      @deezworkshop  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank for looking for a part number, Please share if you find it. I have a couple old eagle oilers but the nozzles are too large for my button oilers on the mill. I have a crappy Harbor Freight one that leaks all over but its nozzle fits much better. Maybe Its time to just bite the bullet and acquire a proper oil can for these machines. Lubirication is important. Thanks for the kind feedback. I love sharing this content with others and learning from the experienced professionals offering advice. This has becomea great community that had helped me but I hope it helps many others in the same situation I have been in. Thanks for the sub and I appreciate you watching. Cheers.

      @@deezworkshop found a button greaser, oiler that is just like mine on Amazon. Came across it by accident while looking for a couple tools. The part# ARES 53010, 3oz mini grease oiler.
      Edit: it's $18.12

      @@deezworkshop I've used mine for light weight air tool grease, I haven't used it with strait oil but would think it would work. I may have to take mine apart to look at it, I don't remember the pump system setup. 🤔

    Do you think you can mill steel and castings with that machine? Looking to buy a 25mv too!

    • @deezworkshop
      @deezworkshop  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have no doubts this machine can mill steel and castings. I have milled steel already in some projects. I use a lot of aluminum and some nylon which this machine handles easily, but I have also milled steel without issues. Good luck on your decision.
