      check updated video: th-cam.com/video/zWcU0V5rmfM/w-d-xo.html
      See the VFTF facility is available to a few countries if people have valid visa to that those countries. If they are not eligible then they would need singapore evisa to explore the city and if they do not take the visa they will have to remain in the transit hall.

      Thank you dear for all your support. I made this video a week back. As of now, transit is not allowed through Singapore for Indians due to Indian flight regulations (omicron). So please contact the airlines as well. Hopefully ,they should make a move to remove the transit ban if Omicron does not interfere. The changed happened recently on Dec 02.

      Well, transit visa is not required because as of now you have to remain in the transit area or departure transit area. Things can change in April so let's wait for updated revised guidelines.

    Sir please give information about rules and regulations regarding stay in Singapore while traveling to canada from India.
    Is covid test also necessary there?

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no test upon arrival but you need to carry RT-PCR or Anti-gen test from your country. If the requirement of your final destination is RT-PCR test then you should get RT-PCR.
      No need for the transit visa required as long as you stay in the transit area.

I would recommend to contact the airlines for latest flight regulations and also if they have permission to travel through Singapore. It is better to keep single airlines and PNR.

The visa one you are looking for is VFTF facility and if you have just a single journey visa to Australia then you can transit upon you return from Australia to India. @@enarendra92 @enarendra92 no I obtained tourist visa because transit visa was not allowed that time but now you don't need any transit visa to transit at Changi airport. You can easily transit and roam in the airport but not sure whether you can go outside or not may be you can see visa on arrival to go outside but if you want to roam just apply for a tourist visa and it will cost you around 3k to 4k INR.

      as long as you are in the transit area there is no need for transit visa, I think if you have Australia visa then you have some exceptions as well. But please contact the Singapore airlines for the transit and transfers because they have prohibited transfer/transit recently read here:www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/sg/travel-info/transit-through-singapore/
      Since, airlines has real-time instruction from Civil Aviation so it is important to call them.

      People transiting in Singapore will not require visas if they remain within the transit area of Changi Airport (Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4) and do not pass through Singapore Immigration. Usually the transit time at the airport is 48 hrs. Call to confirm you need not to pass the immigration. I think with Singapore Airlines this should not be a big concern but please contact them to confirm the same.

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends if you are going to cross the immigration. Usually the transit time is 48 hours. Please contact Asia-Pacific because it depends on the arrangements the airlines have with the airport. Some airlines transit is easy and you remain in the transit area but in other instances, sometimes one has to cross the immigration line.

      Qantas has permission to do transits through Changi check here: www.changiairport.com/en/airport-guide/Covid-19/transiting-through-airport.html
      Usually, they ask for single PNR flights.
      For for transfers, airlines can give you better clarity. If you are returning from Aus have visa that VFTF facility can be availed. But due to Omicron, it is better to reach out to airlines because they have real-time information on flights regulations.

      Singapore is operating both non- VTL and VTL flights. Non-VTL flights passengers need to quarantine for 7 days if they are going to enter the city

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Namrata, traveling through non-VTL OR VTL is not the issue, however, the route or the flight must be approved by the Singapore Civil Aviation authority for transiting through Singapore. Check here if your airlines are listed here:
      Please scroll down to the bottom of the page and you can find the airlines and also read their terms and conditions which are authorized to operate from Singapore Changi.
      www.changiairport.com/en/airport-guide/Covid-19/transiting-through-airport.html
      In the meantime, keep chasing the airlines because they can provide better clarity about transits depending on your vaccination status.
      Any other passengers using the non-VTL lanes who are trying to enter Singapore are subject to quarantine. But your case is different.
