    The videos in this channel are very informative and definitely deserve much more subscribers. Went to Singapore for holiday just days ago and this channel helps me tons due to their useful tips and how to do things without the hassle of finding information counter.
    FYI, if this is the first time you're in Singapore, it is advisable (not mandatory) to stand in Immagration counter with human rather than go through ACI machine. Saw several people who were entering Singapore for the first time and have a hard through getting through ACI machines and need to start the queqe over the human counter all over again.

      Thank you for the support! Very much appreciated!
      Thanks for the info, and Yes, the use of the ACI machine is "not mandatory" for eligibility countries, you can still choose to use the human immigration counter if that suit you.

    Thanks for a very useful video🙂 I have red some where that you need to bring two colour photos with you, when doing the immigration. Do you know if that is the case or not?

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, you don't need to bring photos when doing immigration in Singapore.
      i believe it is for VISA application, and it should be applied and approved before you travel to Singapore.
      Hope it help you...

    Does anyone in immigration check bags as you enter the country? I have medications and supplements and didn't know if they go though your bag to verify what you have in case it's on the extensive "prohibited" list. I won't have anything illegal, more of a curiosity question of how detailed they are upon entry into the country.

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      After you have collected your luggages, the customs officers will randomly ask visitors for their luggage to be check.
      If you have nothing to declare, you can just exit through the "green sign".
      In terms of how detail, i would say, if caught carrying prohibited items, it can be serious especially for drug.
      If you are worry about the medication and supplement, i recommend checking their websites, here's the link:
      Overall -
      www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/what-you-can-bring/prohibited-controlled-dutiable-goods
      Medication -
      www.hsa.gov.sg/personal-medication/overview
      Online tool to check -www.hsa.gov.sg/personal-medication/check-requirements
      (You may bring in common medications such as those for treatment of diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and contraception, if the quantity is not more than 3 months' supply.)
      (You will need to submit your application for approval if you need to bring in more than 3 months' supply.)

    Hello, do I need to fill the SG Arrival Application if I just need to check in again my bag? I will not exit the airport, I just need to pick up my baggage and check in again to another destination. Thanks!

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, as long you need to check in again your bag in Singapore, you will need to go through the immigration, in that case, you need to fill the SG arrival card. Because collecting your bag is after passing through the immigration checkpoint. Please double check with your airline, if you need to pick up your baggage during transit.

    Hello.. i have planing to fly from istanbul to Indonesia through SQ and transit time is about 1.20 hours..i am wondering if i have time to take the next fly becouse the short transit and i never take the short transit before so its worth it to take the SQ with 1.20 hours transfer? Thanks

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, all the transit terminal in Changi Airport 1-3 is inter-connected. It shouldn't be a problem, just hope that there wouldn't be any flight delay when arriving to Singapore.
      If you arrived at Terminal 4, and the transit is at other terminal, you will need to take the free shuttle bus, but it is still manageable.
      But do check with your airline, on how the luggages are being handled, do they transit internally by the airline or need to collect the luggages and check in again. If need to check in again, then the transfer time will not be enough.

    Hi, is it possible to walk around transit area after arriving at T4 and clear out at immigration much later?

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, you can walk around the transit area after arriving. But just take note that if your luggage is not collected when everyone collected their luggage from the belt, the staff might help you place it near the belt area.

      Hi, Yes, there is free sleeping spots upon arrival in Terminal 4, inside the transit area and you don't need to go through the immigration. It is at level 2M, called the Snooze Lounge.

    It says online that I need to like register certain items such as medicine, communication stuff, video games any so on and get a permit to take them wirh me BEFORE I come to customs.
    Medicine for example needs a permit from the "Health Sciene Authority" apparently.
    Does anyone know if thats really the case? It wasnt mentioned in the video and seems a little ridiculous to me.

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Regarding the communication stuff, video games and so on, if only for personal use, then it is ok. They only restrict travellers who bring in large number of the stuff for sales.
      Medicine wise, as long it is for personal usage, and the quantity is not more than 3 months' supply, then no approval is required from HSA.
      If you are unsure whether your medicine is approved or not in Singapore, you can use their website to further identification.

    At the time of departure from Singapore, my airline allows for check-in/baggage drop 3 hours before flight. I want to reach 6 - 7 hours earlier, clear departure immigration check point, move around transit public space along with my baggage. In this case, where will baggage drop happen? At boarding gate security check point ?

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  20 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, your large check-in baggage will be before immigration checkpoint at the ticket counter. But if your baggage is a small carry-on that you intend to bring along into your flight, you just need to go through the boarding gate security check point, you won't be able to check in your baggage at this point. Check in / baggage drop is only available at the ticket counter, before immigration check point and transit public space.

    I have a question: I will soon be traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) via Singapore. My layover in Singapore is 3 hours.
    My trip from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore (Terminal 4) is with a low-cost carrier (AirAsia).
    My trip from Singapore (Terminal 3) to Jeddah is with Saudi Airlines.
    I do not have checked baggage, only a carry-on bag.
    Do I need a transit visa for Singapore? Will the airport in Kuala Lumpur allow me to travel without a transit visa? Can I go from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 without going through immigration? Thank you.
    PS: I am tunisian and not eligible for vftf

    • @simplifytravel
      @simplifytravel  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, transit in Singapore don't require a transit visa as long as you stay within the transit area. (Noted there's no checked baggages) Please avoid any checked items that need you to go through the immigration, or your connecting flight require you to go through immigration to collect ticket.
      And Yes, you can go from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 without going through immigration. In case of Terminal 4, you will need to take a free shuttle bus that bring transit passengers to Terminal 3.

      If you are using the ACI system, children age 6 and above can go through alone, and there will be staff on site to help them if needed. Or you can also use the counter with your children.
      If traveling with children age 6 and below, it is recommend to use the counter instead.

    From Denpsar BALI to Changi it's JetStar Airways, and Changi to IGT Delhi it's AIR INDIA airways. Both air carriers have a alliance. We are not exiting from airport. We will stay in Airport primces till our next Flight with our checked in baggage.

      @simplifytravel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For transiting from Terminal 4 to Terminal 2, there will be a free shuttle bus within the transit area that will bring you to Terminal 2 transit area. You don't have to submit the SG Arrival Card since you are not exiting the terminal.
      Im not sure whether your airline required you to collect your luggages in T4, but if needed, then you are required to submit the SG arrival card, since you will be going through the immigration checkpoint.
      Hope it help.
