The reason why we can poop is so that we can get rid of our energy before hitting our rocks. Otherwise we will break our rocks and that can really suck if we have spent many hours making a rock garden. I actually keep a toilet beside my rock garden for this reason.
Once I forgot to poop (in animal crossing) and I went to hit the rocks and I broke it, and I had a heart attack. It literally took me 7 hours to do. But I just quickly exited the game and it didn’t save so i was lucky.
My hidden detail, which isn't really hidden, has to do with the vanity/mirror. If you look in the top left corner, you can see some accessories icons and the X button. So basically, the vanity automatically removes accessories when you start, but you can add them back on by pressing X to make sure that what you're picking still goes with the accessories. (It's easy to miss this one because everything else you interact with in the vanity/mirror is on the right, and this button is in the top left.) It's also faster and easier to use face paint through the vanity/mirror than it is with the custom designs menu on your NookPhone. Another not so hidden detail is to pay attention to the bottom of the tools menu when making custom designs. One of the tools will allow you to change what you're previewing the design on, and the other will allow you to mirror, so you can do both halves of a design at the same time. (These are particularly helpful for making face paint designs.)

I think that's a bug. From what I've read, he's supposed to be awake if a villager is in there. (Or maybe, him being awake in the first place is the bug, sometimes hard to tell with Nintendo)
@@onishojo9430 -Walk up to a window with visible curtains. -Ensure that you are pressed up against the selected window as much as you can be. -Press the "A" button.
I have literally never seen Blathers awake when a villager is visiting the museum and I know because I’ve checked this multiple times. I think it’s like the second diy bottle thing some people simply won’t get the feature.
The way it works is that if you already have all the Celeste DIYs (excluding out of season zodiac recipes) she will give you 5 regular star fragments, 1 large star fragment, or one in season zodiac fragment.
I don’t know if this is common knowledge, but if you are holding your vaulting pole and jump run up to a river that you could normally jump over ( meaning you’d have to click a button to jump over) it jumps for you (you don’t have to click a button. This could be pretty convenient for people who have crazy terraforming
I’ve seen people use the pooping feature as a way to protect their rock garden. I’ve seen people use the toilet at the entrance of the rock garden hidden on the side between fencing. That way you have to sit on the toilet to get into the rock garden and expel fruit that way you won’t break your rocks!
It wpuld be cool to see Flick get flattered when you hit him with a net, as of you've mistaken him for a bug. I feel lole he would love that, and it would be cute.
Thanks, those were some useful things that I wasn't always aware of. My favorite pup is Roar, although Puppers is really adorable. I remember being so excited to learn I could customize my gifted Dot. The museum tip about finding villagers in particular, was really helpful. I usually give up before searching the whole museum. The R stick down has been super useful in my massive inventory. Thanks for all your videos, I really enjoy your channel. You're very sweet and fun to watch 😊
If your looking for a villager and can't be bothered to check the museum and have atleast 1 alt player profile, you can initiate a soft reset to reposition villagers in the island via Call Resident app on your Nookphone! You just call that player, some loading happens (Thats the villager repositioning part), and both you and the other account are on the plaza. Most of the time there is atleast one or three villagers already walking about the plaza as the timer to input the controller to assign to a player. Let the countdown reach 0 and that will soft reset the island again. Theres a probability that the villager your looking maybe inside their homes or walking to somewhere more convinient to look for. Also if the the alt account hasnt collected their bottle you can find them on your shores! This also affects villagers with the thought bubble of moving out! If you spot your villager with it, just enter a building and exit, if that villager still has the bubble it means they want to move out. If you want that villager to be given a present just use that soft reset method a bunch of times until said villagers are at their home where you can safely talk and gift to them. Or you could just hit them with the net.
I got Dot as my plush but I changed mine to Pupper(you can customize almost any mom present). For #10 you can do the same thing with blinds. I also heard that if you have a Tv, at 3:33am I think it is, the TV shows an alien 👽
Another thing when it comes to talking to Wisp is to ALWAYS ask for something new because he does not know the value of items and will most likely give you something that is pretty much worthless
I can confirm that Celeste gives any kind of star fragments once you’ve obtained all her DIY recipes. It varies but I’ve gotten 1-5 regular fragments and the by occasional zodiac one (it’s always the current month’s type) or large fragment.
I have never seen Blathers awake in the day time and there's always villagers in the fossil exhibit. I don't think that one is true, at least not for everyone. Shame though, that would be really useful.
@@cyberxinferno Yeah, that's the point, the tip was that he might be awake if there's a villager in the museum, but that's not true, at least not for me.
I have tons of bells...I wouldn't mind giving you some...if you want. I also wouldn't mind sharing with for people who Barely Started playing the game..and whoever needs it in general with there house loan or bridge or staircase
so ive gotten every celeste recipe(barring the zodiac for months we havent gotten to yet), and she will randomly give you either 5 regular fragments, or one of that months zodiac or a large fragment. I have no idea if its evenly random or if one is more likely(its only happened like 5 times since I'm not seeking celeste out anymore, i got one zodiac and two rounds of each of the other fragments)
Once you collect all the non zodiac DIYs from celeste you start receiving star fragments if you already have that months zodiac DIY. Yes you can get zodiac star fragments from other months as well as large ones
I spent half an hour looking in every single building on my island for puck this morning and he was on Redd’s secret beach. I didn’t even know villagers could go there.
Hi Crossing Channel! I can confirm the Celeste one. I have collected all of the regular (non-zodiac) recipes and as long as I’ve already learned the zodiac recipe for the current season, she always gives me a rotation of either 5 regular star fragments, 1 large star fragment, or 1 zodiac fragment of the current season. Because I’ve only been playing since September, I’m still missing some zodiac recipes so the first occurrence that I see her during a new zodiac cycle with a recipe I have NOT learned, she will first give me that DIY and then continue to give me fragments thereafter.
Celeste can give you large star fragments if you've gotten all the DIYs, with the exception of the zodiac ones. Another minor thing that I learned involving Celeste is, while you can only get something once per day from Celeste, if you go to someone else's island on a day that you already, even if it was the same day you talked to her, she will still give you something. (i.e. if you talk to Celeste on Monday, and then on Tuesday in your game, and you go to someone else's island and it's the Monday that just passed, you can still get another DIY or star fragments from her).
To add onto the last one, closing curtains will also (slightly) change the light level in your house, depending on which side you closed and where the sun is currently. I'm new to the series, and I'm quite impressed with the level of detail in the game's physics engine. It looks simple, but there's a lot happening under the hood.
I didn't know about cockroaches because I've barely missed a complete 24 hours since release. I missed the nook miles menu instructions too. The Blathers tip is cool. The competitions pay for themselves unless you tolally lose the first free one. It's pretty hard not to make at least 500 bells when selling your catch. You can also sell bugs/fish you've been saving too.
Oh one thing... when a villager has a bubble over their head it could be 1 out of 3 things. 1 they want to move out commonly 2 they want to sell u something 3 they want to give you a gift they just shy. But if you hit them with a net the bubble disappears no matter what they wanted to say.
@@natanhakraijnbrink5403 yeah yeah true... and once you change it for one then another also want that and then suddenly some other one wants to copy that....
Yes celeste does give 1 large fragments or 5 star frag or she could give the zodaic fragment that is tied to that time of the month so if it is sept. 24 u can get 1 libra frag.
celeste can give you all the star fragments. If she gives you small star it will be 5 pieces, if the large star I believe 1 pieces. She can also give you 1 piece of monthly special star depending on the month you are in.
Celeste can give you a large or zodiac fragment! It seems to be a random chance because usually she gives me 5 normal frags. If you have every DIY besides zodiac, she can start giving fragments if you're not in the zodiac season of the DIY you're missing (like, you have all non zodiac and missing Pisces, but it's currently not Pisces season. She'll give you frags bc it's not Pisces yet).
Another random thing about Wisp, once you collect all the spirits for him and start talking to him again, you don't get the option to NOT give him back the spirits. He'll say things like "they are mine", and no matter if you keep refusing to give them to him, he won't let you not give them to him.
I don’t see #3 being an issue, given when you play for free in the first round, the amount of bugs you are likely to catch will total out to an amount that surpasses the entry fee the next go around. So basically, if you’re catching a good amount of bugs, you’ll be gaining more money by selling the bugs than you will be losing for the entry fee. Plus, Flick does offer double (or at least 1.5x the standard amount) for any bugs you capture, so it’s a win-win.
The Celeste theory is plausible. I remember during the summer with the Mermaid collection, once I got all the DIY’s from Pascal all he gave me and still does is pearls.

haven't been able to say this yet- but i love the new intro!
The Blathers thing isn't true. I've found villagers in their while he was asleep
I think that's a bug. From what I've read, he's supposed to be awake if a villager is in there. (Or maybe, him being awake in the first place is the bug, sometimes hard to tell with Nintendo)
When you close your curtains in your main room they close your curtains outside your house.
HOW DO YOU CLOSE YOUR CURTAINS?
@@onishojo9430
-Walk up to a window with visible curtains.
-Ensure that you are pressed up against the selected window as much as you can be.
-Press the "A" button.
celeste does give zodiac fragments as well as normal ones! it just depends on what she wants to give you that night
I have literally never seen Blathers awake when a villager is visiting the museum and I know because I’ve checked this multiple times. I think it’s like the second diy bottle thing some people simply won’t get the feature.
I used to get 2 DIY bottles every day, now I’m only getting one.
Celeste will give you 5 star fragments, 1 large star fragments, or that months zodiac fragment
#8 is the only one in this video that I didn't know, and it's actually super-helpful! Thanks!
To #1
You can also step on cockroaches. But the snacks villagers would disapprove, they talk to the bugs. :)
When you can't wish on stars because you have DRIFTING CONTROLLERS-
I get to stand there, menacingly, in the background of point number 3 and I am happy about it
Thanks, those were some useful things that I wasn't always aware of.
Its nice how someone made a fan video about wanted features (which included using the toilet) and it came true
For the Celeste tip ,when u finish all the diys u either get 5 star fragments or a zodiac fragment .
Wife and I just went in and saw Blathers sleeping and there was an islander in the museum’s bug area.
He’s supposed to be asleep during the day becuase he’s a owl which owls aren’t awake during the day 😌
@@cyberxinferno Yeah, that's the point, the tip was that he might be awake if there's a villager in the museum, but that's not true, at least not for me.
NEVER thought to open my curtains.... glad you mentioned it!
With the plushies you can customize the color. My fave is Pippa.
I have tons of bells...I wouldn't mind giving you some...if you want. I also wouldn't mind sharing with for people who Barely Started playing the game..and whoever needs it in general with there house loan or bridge or staircase
Help mee lol
u dont by any chance have some fruits
do u
@@iheartnirvana502 i was desperate and did some things..lol, im good now but ty for replying. :)
God do I need this lol I feel so behind from everyone else because I got the game and a switch late.
juz started on 17th☹️ i'm so left behind seein all the 5star islands😅
so ive gotten every celeste recipe(barring the zodiac for months we havent gotten to yet), and she will randomly give you either 5 regular fragments, or one of that months zodiac or a large fragment.
I didn't know about the Blathers thing. Thank you for the tip! 😀
I spent half an hour looking in every single building on my island for puck this morning and he was on Redd’s secret beach. I didn’t even know villagers could go there.
I didnt know why blathers was awake when I walked in one time! Very helpful! Thank you !
Because I’ve only been playing since September, I’m still missing some zodiac recipes so the first occurrence that I see her during a new zodiac cycle with a recipe I have NOT learned, she will first give me that DIY and then continue to give me fragments thereafter.
i have all the celeste diys and she mainly gives normal star fragment after that but she has given me a cancer fragment once
Awesome video! I've been playing since launch and I only knew a couple of these.
Once fruit trees are full grown you can space them 1 "square" apart from each other and they will still produce fruit saves space
0:34 I do this every time they are in my house, is a lot more fun killing them in that way 7v7
WTH
Actually did you know that if you hit Gulliver with your net he'll wake up faster?
Pooping feature bit was hilarious. 🤣🤣
Oh one thing... when a villager has a bubble over their head it could be 1 out of 3 things.
1 they want to move out commonly
2 they want to sell u something
3 they want to give you a gift they just shy.
But if you hit them with a net the bubble disappears no matter what they wanted to say.
They also want you to change their catch phrase or how they address you
@@natanhakraijnbrink5403 yeah yeah true... and once you change it for one then another also want that and then suddenly some other one wants to copy that....
The thing where you can talk to wisp is how I talked to him first bc I thought I could catch him also the same thing works with gulliver :)
Tbh 3/4 of this I didn’t even know! Also Puppers for the win! Also also do you want some bells for loan, I can offer great rates 😏
I have all of Celeste's recipes and she has given me large fragments and the special zodiac fragments as well :) It seems completely random!
You can customise most of mom's items and tools you buy. When you customize a tool, it resets it's durability like it's new
In my opinion i always craft new ones because you never know when it will run out and it also contributes to 2 nook miles goals
Did not know Number 8!!!!!! Thank you Crossing Channel! Saved me major time searching for villagers!
adding on to the curtains thing, if you close your curtains they will appear shut outside too, the lights do the same
Celeste can give you a large or zodiac fragment!
Awesome video I love getting the diys from Celeste I always make sure when there is shooting stars I look for her and get a diy
My daughter found out you can terrify Blathers by showing off any bug in your inventory in the museum when he is awake...she loves it!
To add to number 10: If you close all of the curtains, your curtains will be closed outside. If one is open, they're all open outside.
You can use the party poopers to scare off the bees
I've never had Celeste give me the horoscope fragments, but she does give either 5 regular fragments, or 1 large fragment
I thought 500 hours in Splatoon were a lot or 400 in Zelda but then I noticed that i have 600+ hours in animal crossing xD
The Celeste theory is plausible. I remember during the summer with the Mermaid collection, once I got all the DIY’s from Pascal all he gave me and still does is pearls.
Also if you do the bug off or fish off with friends you get extra points! Way faster if you’re trying to collect all the items or get trophies
No. 8 happened to me last night, I was looking for Kiki and was genuinely concerned I couldn’t find her, turns out she was in the museum
Blathers is always awake at night. Owls are nocturnal so he sleeps during the day awake at night
