Hank had a panic attack. The noise he was hearing in the elevator was Jesse's car's hydraulics; great detail. The shootout with Tuco really messed him up, though he never wants to show weakness to anyone else.

i think/hope you will come to a point where you cant decide if you love breaking bad or avatar more. Obviously they are two completely different shows but i myself love them both with all my heart and the way i feel is that breaking bad is objectively speaking the best show out there but avatar is still my favourite because it is so meaningful and eye-opening especially if you watch it as a kid like i did. Dont know if that makes sense but i had to share my opinion haha

You're giving them high/low expectations and it actually ruins the experience when they realize something big is going to happen. Your hype makes them put the puzzle pieces together and they'll realize it before it happens and it ruins their reaction. You as an original viewer didn't have that. You just watched and were ABSOLUTLEY shocked when said shocking thing happened.
I get it. you're excited to watch people watch the show you love. But people get so excited that sometimes in an attempt to comment or encourage them to watch more, they spoil things for the newer viewers

I definitely understand your point and I agree to an extent. But at this point, everyone knows that Breaking Bad is a legendary show, and they already expect big things.

I really didn't like the last episode of season 1 and the first few of season 2 but it gets soooo good from here on out!
Those were the best though. Tuco is an amazing antagonist, and it's a shame that season 2 is left without a villain afterwards.

It's crazy how you say what Skylar is going through (pregnant and her husband has cancer) is enough to make her go crazy and justifies her actions, but the guy who actually has the cancer, killed someone, and seen people killed in front of him, yet he doesn't.
She didn't really "go crazy", but she was really stressed, had no money, is too big to get a job, Junior is varely in the house, and she has no idea what is going on with Walt.
She knows Walt is lying to her and has been lying to her for a while know, he disapeared for days, has a second cellphone and whenever she asks him about it, instead of just saying any reasonable lie like he did with that doctor in the hospital, to at least put her mind at ease and have her move on... he talks to her like she's insane and nothing is ever going on.
So she does pretty much the same thing Walt has done, and dissapears too.
The one thing that is too far is the smoking, sure. That is fair.
But again, if it was only 3 and a half, it's not really that bad. The thing is, if this situation with Walt had gone on for longer, she ABSOLUTELY would have ended up smoking more eventually. And that's certainly not okay.
And the gravity of the stress someone goes throught doesn't correlate with the gravity of their reality. Everyone is affected differently by different things, and none of that is less valid.
You can be rich and depressed, you can be an experienced police officer and have a panic attack after a traumatic event, or be an upper middle class successful woman and still have a mental disorder, you can be loved by your parents and still be an addict, and you can beat someone to death and still be unaffected.
All that aside, Walt is not doing okay AT ALL.
Smoking 3 cigarettes while under an insane amount of stress isn’t really “going crazy”
It’s not the best thing but nobody can be perfect in such intense circumstances. I’d say that Walter was endangering the baby much more by causing unnecessary stress when he could’ve put his pride aside from the beginning

Skylar hate is warranted, and these episodes are the start of why.
Of course the pregnant woman will take her anger out on her unborn child when the husband upsets her. And of course the other 2 women watching take her side in that Insanity.
