I'm glad the commentator actually talks about the game the whole time. So many pool matches I have to mute the sound because they're talking about what their third wife got them for christmas 2 years ago. This is clean and straight, and I appreciate it.

Seriously, after being with Efren few decades now you get to know the real score of what he is up to. He is the ultimate hustler period. Bata can play around anyone to believe he is missing a few here and there with anyone with just a few shots his opponents. He can even throw away a trophy just to clean up your pocket without being noticed. At the color of money probably the greatest pool challenge ever Earl The Pearl lead him I think 17 games in a 3 day play to 120 games and Bata started chopping him down till the closing , many times he’s doing it.

Not that it matters in the slightest... but You act like he's using a solid maple one piece cue. In 10 years wood will no longer exist. Too many variables and inconsistencies removed when you carbon fiber. It's common sense.

Must be terrible having him in a tourney.
U lose then everyone says: oh efren is so good even at this age.
U win then everyone says: well u beat a 70 year old guy at the end of his career.

    Ask yourself this one question?
*How many 69 year olds are walking around participating in any type of sport, event, or skill that requires, and demands, first class hand and eye coordination, combined with a champion's will to win; and who are still able to be competitive against younger players who are 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 years younger than they are.?*
*The answer is VERY DAMN FEW!*
*NO, Efren Reyes is not the player he once was. But, he's still an incredibly formidable pool player who can compete at the highest levels when he is having a good day. That's all one Efren's age can ask for from a loving GOD.*

When did the location of the rack rule change? The object balls are racked in a diamond shape, with the one ball at the top of the diamond and on the foot spot, the nine ball in the center of the diamond, and the other balls in random order, racked as tightly as possible. the game begins with cue ball in hand behind the head string.

This is why we need to find ways to live longer. Or download their knowledge and experience into something. So age doesn't destroy these all-time greats. But such is life. Starting to see why so many say Reyes is the GOAT.
