I played Efren in 2017; the game was the best three out of five in nine ball. Of course he beat me and I enjoyed it. - - - If you are ever in the Huntsville Alabama area just stop by Steve's Cue and Grill - - - as you walk in you will see a picture of Efren and I on the left just outside the entrance of my cue repair shop - - - I'm there every week, if I'm not in my shop just walk up to the bar and look to your right - - - I am normally setting at the first table having coffee or unsweetened tea - - - if you shoot pool, since I own all the Diamond pool tables in the bar, the table time will be on me!
I'm glad you just show us the games with commentary and not all that cutesy stuff others interject amongst it all. I guess they think we like that, but we don't. Kim in his prime was a incredible pool player. He won a few us open 9 ball tournaments and a few derby city classic also. He was a very tough opponent in the late 80’s and throughout all the 90’s. He had Johnny archers number that’s for sure.
The first derby was 99 which was a little after Kim's time being dominant. After the camel tour and this pro billiards tour from the mid 90s, there weren't as many big name tournaments like today. I'm not saying that he wasn't a threat to beat anyone bc he's known for coming from behind anyway on Archer when he was player of the decade.
he is 5:09 doing that at the age of 8 by the year 1970 at the of 17 he is the most feared pool player jn the philipines there was a time that no one wants to play him in money game the guy from another planet thats how pool players in the philipines call him if only there's already a camera by that time

These other matches mr Reyes plays does he take breaks or plays straight thru without stopping for water or food ? does he have family or friend overseeing his energy level , I wonder ? Filipinos are heavy smokers how well does he tolerate the atmosphere ? Once visiting my mom everyone that visited her was a smoker i had quit smoking myself a good while , four hours later I ended up in emergency due to all the smoking my mom visitors did second hand does exist ! I did see him once take a sip of water
How and why did you make it go from 6 to 4, advantage Davenport to 6 to 6 tied in just one rack!!?? The commentator just said, at 33:43that Efren was at a 6, 4 deficit. Yeah. One rack should have made it 6, 5. Not even at 6, 6. Y'all's math is screwed up.
I do not understand why they hire an announcer that does not know the game. Weird they can’t find a knowledgeable announcer with game experience. Nick is very gracious in all the corrections of nonsense comments made.

Why did they skip rack 5 and 6? Damn it! And since I'm only at 14:00, do they skip more racks coming up? In summary, I've never seen Efren make so many mistakes in ANY game, and I've watched at least 30 of his games. And tell me, what's with the lousy camera work, especially at the breaks? Tell that amateur that we'd like to see the entire table on the break shots and not some cute sideways stunt or a zoom-out number.
