I've had four of these first gen Frontiers, currently I'm driving an 02, first one I've had thats an automatic. I just hit 220k today. Love these trucks, they're just so reliable.
@@luckysdiygarage I bought this thing in January of 2022 it had 130k & one owner for 20 years. The dude only drove it 6,500 miles a year for 20 years! The Carfax had all the records of all of the fluid changes and any work that was done on it which was minimal. The transmission and the catalytic converter went out at 155k. So I decided to do a preemptive strike before all the moving parts took a crap one at a time. So I put in a new water pump, power steering pump, alternator, starter, belts, rotor cap plugs and wires. I just make sure I change my fluids frequently and this thing runs like a champ.
@@luckysdiygarage having those records was nice to know he took care of it. I'm 40k miles from doubling what he drove in 20 years in about 3 1/5 years. 🤣 It's a work truck and it's making me money so that's perfectly fine.
@@luckysdiygaragethank you for the support and knowledge!!! If I haven’t already I’ma subscribe to you. And Weeeks later I’m finally doing these plugs! Lezzzzz goooooo
