Yes please, record another video on how can we bring an existing podcast hosted into a different hosting into Spotify for Podcasters to add the video element... or maybe you recorded it already?
I could not find a video that answers this question. If you already have videos on TH-cam (not podcast videos), is there any point in uploading a video podcast on TH-cam?
💪 yes, it’s a cool way to stand out more on Spotify and they’re continuing to make updates to their algorithm trying more to suggest new shows to people
What if you are using Spotify for Podcasters as yous hosting platform but it is also linked to Apple Podcasts as audio only? If I upload my video file will it upload the audio version only to apple? Or do I need to have another hosting platform for my audio only platforms?
But how do I add my intro and outro to my main film podcast? I have them recorded, and saved segments with the spotify music etc, but it’s only published the main film without the 3 segments, omitting the intro & outro.
What's the difference between spotify and spotfy for Podcasters? I opened an account with regular Spotify. I went there to try to upload my podcast but didn't see a way how... Please help me... and do we not need a hosting site for Spotify for Podcasters?
Thank you so much for your content. It really helps a lot. I am a Podcast-creator from Germany, who publishes a new episode once a month. The Audio-only-Version is available everywhere through RSS-Feed from my host. Even on Spotify. But the video-version of the Podcast is only available on TH-cam, which I upload separately. But what, if I want to make the video-version available on Spotify as well? Okay, as a Spotify User, I can choose, if I want to WATCH a Video-Podcast, or only want to HEAR it. And that is nice. But, as I understand this, this only possible, if my Podcast is hosted by SPOTIFY FOR PODCASTER. Right? So what, if I'm using an podcast-host, which don't support Video through RSS-Feed? Can I still upload my Video-version to Spotify separately?
Veronica I need help on how to load a video podcast to Spotify even though I host with Buzz sprout can you help me with video showing how or do you recommend starting a Spotify for podcasters with the same name that I use for buzzsprout ?
Okay so this is what you’re going to do: from Buzzsprout stop the distribution of your RSS to Spotify. Create an account with Spotify for Podcasters and upload your video podcast there and only do distribution to Spotify. I hope it makes sense. Thanks for your question.
The issue with uploading video to Spotify for Podcasters could stem from several factors. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot the problem: 1. File Compatibility and Quality: Ensure that the video file is in MOV or MP4 format, as these are the only supported file types for Spotify for Podcasters. It should contain only one video track and one audio track, have a maximum duration of 12 hours, and adhere to specific bitrate and frame rate guidelines. Specifically, the video should be in H.264 High Profile with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The audio should be AAC-LC with a bitrate of 192 Kbps or higher . 2. File Integrity: Check if the video file plays correctly on your device. If the file is incomplete or the audio and video streams are of different durations, it will not upload correctly . 3. Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is crucial as larger files have a higher chance of failing to upload if the connection is interrupted . 4. Error Messages: Look at the specific error message you receive. It may indicate issues such as incompatible file types, inconsistent audio and video streams, unrecognized color settings, or inappropriate frame rates . If you’ve gone through these steps and the issue persists, it’s recommended to contact Spotify’s support directly for further assistance, as they will have more context on the backend processes and potential errors .

Is there a way to do this on your phone?
Can this only be done on a desktop computer?
Hey Veronica, how do we put the video episodes with the audio ones in the same existing show?
Do you already have many episodes hosted somewhere else?
What if you are using Spotify for Podcasters as yous hosting platform but it is also linked to Apple Podcasts as audio only? If I upload my video file will it upload the audio version only to apple? Or do I need to have another hosting platform for my audio only platforms?
Does the video have to be listed as a new episode or can I replace an existing (or a scheduled) audio episode with the video version?
Where do you host your podcast?
I use SoundCloud to host the pod. But they don’t have an option to upload a video. I’m assuming other podcast hosts do.
Thanks Veronica for this 'how-to' video on how to upload video to Spotify. One of my new year resolutions for 2024 is to go VIDEO!😊📹▶
Thank you Shinil. Will be here cheering you on!!

Every time I upload with video. It completes it and then says there's an error. Do you know why this could be?
